Literally waiting for a package. Sitting on my porch and I come in 9:25 thinking dang the mail person never came. Checked the tracking and it said returned to sender as sender unknown at 7:58. Ok so I was on the porch when did this supposed delivery even happen? Update: Get to post office about my issue 8:35am, told we don't do packages until after 10am. Come back explain my issue, let me get my supervisor. He can't come out now come back after 12. This is ridiculous. Multiple times now, the postal workers have decided that "there is no safe place to leave the package" AKA they are too lazy to try, and "left a notification" which they have not. When the seller informs me they delivered, because the post office certainly won't, the post office s then furious that I have the temerity to want my package. They are pissed off when I call, they are pissed off when I go in, when I do exactly as they request, they are pissed off that I listened to the other person. UPS, Fed Ex, hell DHL doesn't have any issues. Neither does any food delivery service, drizzley, Chewy, etc. read more

This Post Office has to be one of the worse in NJ. Customer service is so so. Lines are usually long. They never answer the phone and never get back to you with a problem or complaint. I try to avoid going to this post office only if I have to pick up a package. read more

I went in today, with an attitude. They did acknowledge that my address being listed as vacant was their fault. But even though I was nasty, each staff member that I came in contact with was still very kind and very professional. I had my special needs son with me so I did not want to wait for a supervisor, but the wait was shorter than anticipated. The female supervisor was very understanding. This post office is so unprofessional and GHETTO, they never answer their phones when you call, when you actually go there they talk to you anyway they want. I had to schedule a re-delivery 3 fucking times and they still never delivered my package I had to go there in person to get my stuff and guess what ? My package was drenched in water. The guy tells me "sorry we had a flood" mind you it rained 2 days prior so why is there physical water coming out of the package?? What if it was something really important?? I really need Amazon to officially and only use their own delivery service and stop relying on the USPS. Everytime my packages are "delivered" through them, there's a delay of some kind. For example, yesterday they claim say that they attempted to deliver my package, however, did not ring the doorbell or even bother to read the instructions my landlord gladly placed in front of the building. Furthermore, there wasn't even a note left behind for this "attempted delivery." My building isn't even difficult to access. It's a simple small apartment, so I truly do not understand why my item could not be delivered as promised. I believe someone who's on route got lazy and decided to do a drive by. I hate this place soo much. Get use to stagnant lines and rude employees. There's one sweet woman here whom I love by the name of Fran, can't say the same for the rest. There's is one younger woman who's soo rude and disrespectful and I hope I don't have to encounter her every time I visit. I just dislike when companies have incompetence as the standard. This post office is scheduled to open at 7:30 a.m., it is now 7:46 a.m. This is not the first time this p.o. has opened late. This post office is horrible. I have had my mail (checks) left outside of my mailbox in front of the building or In other people's mailbox and It's been 3 days no one delivered mail and I've been expecting. Also They have been times passed 6:30pm I'm coming from work and I see the mail truck pulling up to deliver mail. They office never answers the phone. It's very upsetting and disappointing when you know you suppose to have something by a cert time frame and you don't because people be playing themselves on the job! And The Mail handlers that usually do this are the Ones that cover for the regular mail lady because she already knows me. She is either them or the post office itself either way I have raise a complaint because it's against the Law to mishandle people's mail. So I mysteriously told this Post Office to hold my mail without a record of this request being anywhere in my email or anything. I am going to come and get my mail, but I'm either going to air this freakin place out our I'm going to jail. I am sick of your lying asses!!!! On August 2, 2020, it was emailed to me that USPS delivered my Amazon package to my front door. This never happened. Someone really needs to check, or thoroughly investigate, the USPS of Irvington, NJ; Because this is ridiculous. It's been 4 days, so clearly this is no mistake. UPS is great, Amazon is great, FedEx can be late, but I still get my package. So why is it only USPS!!!, that gives or emails false messages, just to never even follow suit with it. If I could put 0 review I would. Sent my niece a package for her birthday. This item got lost in the post office somehow. Weeks after the due date they call me to tell me they found my item and ask if they should re-deliver. This does not happen. They do not redeliver. Next thing I know the item had been sent back to seller with the note 'it was not picked up so sent back to seller'. What sense does this even make? read more
