I'm so thrilled with my recent experience here that I decided I just HAD to do a review! I wish I…read morehad the name of the gentleman at the counter that helped me, because I owe him many thanks!!! I came to this post office for only one reason last week, because it's the ONLY one I've found in the area open until 6pm on weeknights. If you work until 4:30 or 5 and don't want to wait until Saturday or take time off of work to actually go in and speak with someone in a post office, then this is the only option around open late enough. I had to talk to someone, plead my case and see what my options were. We recently received our shipment of postcard Save The Dates for our 2020 wedding. We sent two to ourselves, as a test, just by dropping them in a blue mailbox outside of a random town's post office, and they arrived in rough shape! Of course there were all kinds of marks/stamps on the side with the stamp and addresses, but then one of the pictures on the top left corner on back even had black ink smudged all over it. This same thing happened to both postcards. There were even scrapes under the address the cards were being sent to where some of the paper was peeled back. After putting so much thought and energy into which pictures and how many we wanted on the postcard, I was not at all happy with how they arrived in the mail. Soooooo, this is why I needed to go present my case, and my other 105 postcards to the Hartford Post Office after work, because I didn't want to wait til the weekend or drop the rest in a box where they'd arrive to our friends and family in an unacceptable condition. I went in to ask about hand cancelling the stamps, and was told everything is run through machines nowadays and that mail isn't hand canceled. I pulled out the stack of postcards and starting describing the damage that occurred when mailing my two 'test' postcards and that I was trying to prevent that from happening to the rest. As I flipped a postcard over and he realized what they were and that these were real photos of us, he said okay I see that it looks like you put a lot of work into them, what I can do is walk them to the back and see if the sorters will hand sort these so the machines don't damage them. I thanked him and left, understanding it was up to the sorters and even if he asked, it may not happen. I was hoping they were in a good mood and not overly busy and able to honor the request, but it was a mystery until my friend sent me a picture of the postcard she recieved the next day. It was in PERFECT condition, no damage or marks anywhere. The postcard looked just as it did when I left the stack with the most helpful man at the post office, and I appreciate him and his efforts, as well as whoever was involved in hand sorting them! I even offered to separate them into 2 piles, ones being sent out of state and ones staying in CT, but he wouldn't allow it. I was told that is what the sorters would do. Thank you USPS!!!

Let me start by saying, I'm a guy with a bad back the result of multiple back surgeries, not a huge…read morecompany. Any purchase I make isn't going to make anyone rich. To help with my bad back, I had been buying foam cushions to sit on from a physical therapist in California for more than a decade. These purchases continued even after I moved from the West Coast to a tiny town in Vermont. In all honestly, I would have continued buying the foam cushions and paying crazy shipping charges had my physical therapist not retired. Which he did. Which brings me to Nick Ella and New England Foam. I contacted New England Foam and, over the course of several back and forth emails to Nick (the company's general manager), I explained what I was looking for: a resilient cushion that goes with me everywhere, to be placed on any surface before I sit down. This includes my car, fancy Aeron chair, kitchen and/or dining room chairs, chairs and booths in restaurants, seats at sports venues, hard metal chairs in classrooms, etc. I sent Nick the spec sheet for the foam cushion I had been using and was surprised when he suggested something different, something he said would be much better. Cue: Six Million Dollar Man music: he had the technology and came back to me not with one choice, but three. Moreover, when I said I couldn't visualize any of them, he sent me two samples of each foam cushion - that's right, six cushions of varying densities - so I could Goldilocks each until I found the one that was "just right." Two were terrific - one was even better than what I had been using. Nick could have phoned my order in or considered it too small to consider. I never felt like my small project was an inconvenience - especially when he went out of his way to create something better. I don't know what your foam needs are, but whatever they are, give Nick and New England Foam a call. They did an excellent job.

Although I wouldn't rave about the general area All-Gas is in, the place itself is fine. Arrived during the lunch hour on a Thursday and no issues finding. Have to say that everyone there is super-friendly. Gentlemen outside pointed me exactly where to go and the guy waiting for me at the counter was friendly, helpful as could be. Many places these days apparently will do a tank swap instead of actually filling the tank and giving it back to you. My tank is brand spanking new and aluminum, so was not looking to have swapped with an older, steel tank. Happy to report that All-Gas fills up what you have. Without calling out specific companies or pricing, I will just say that pricing here is very competitive. Have a friend who is currently getting ripped off by another place and have already texted him to come here when he needs another refill. Simple, quick, friendly, cheap. My kind of place.

I "had" an All Gas rental above ground propane tank on the side of my house. I was having Solar…read moreinstalled and needed to have the tank moved approx. 10 Ft. I called All Gas to see what could be done about this. After many calls to All Gas, I received a call from "Dave". I explained my situation and he stated they were busy, it's winter and he is only delivery driver? After numerous calls to All Gas, 1 month later Dave answers his cel and stated he was out with covid for 30 days. If you've ever called All Gas all there message says repeatedly is being recorded. I guess they missed my numerous meesages. Dave told me to make sure I had a clear path to my tank. Not only did I clear a path, I sent Dave a couple pictures and a video to prove. Once more I got crickets from Dave. I called All Gas again (the receptionist is outstanding) this time to escalate my 2 month long attempted to get the tank moved. She transferred me to Dave's manager (I forget his name). Same issue, no call backs and I have other companies unable to complete work on my home. I finally left the owner a voicemail and things picked up a bit. I have now gone from having to tank relocated to come remove the tank and all ties with All Gas. 1 day I come home to find Dave and a co worker removing the tank. The manager called approx. 3 mins prior to me arriving home and left me a message they we're coming. A courtesy call the day prior would've have nice shown some form of customer service. I introduced myself the driver and helper. Dave didn't want to identify himself but he did. Let's take a step back. The last time I spoke with the manager he told me he was going to call scheduling and call me back. Long phone I guess. They finally showed 2 weeks later. My tank was approx 60-70% full. I no have a bill from All Gas stating I owe them from the pick up, tank return to? When my tank was emptied I was charged from also. As for the far market value on the propane still in the, I was reimbursed for what I paid for fuel 2-3 yrs ago and not far market value. All Gas turned around all sold it at todays market. So, with all that being said. I will never do business with all gas or anyone associated with them. I will never refer them and definitely add my opinion to anyone mentioning the word propane. So, here is the time line. 1st call to All Gas 1/09/26. Actual tank removal date 3/13/26. Those dates are concrete. The moment was I was told it had to be moved the Chat with other companies began. I will pay all sup the $40.00 they claim i owe them, believing after all the poor service you should've have removed the tank in good faith and called it. You're company that's been around a long time. Looks to me you've forgotten what Customer Service is. Regards Darryl B.
