Still, this post office provides a level of service that few other post offices can provide. Never a line, never without a smile, the postal employee herein knows your name or knows that she doesn't know, and asks... Then figures out who you're visiting in town. Honest, efficient, and kind. How many of you can describe your local post office experience like that? Sadly, I live about 1270 miles away from this location, or I'd frequent it more.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a post office. I came in to return some…read moreclothing and already had everything packed in a cardboard box. I waited in line for about 35 minutes, and when I finally got to the counter the worker immediately had an annoyed and irritated attitude. I understand it can be a busy day, but I had also just stood in line for a long time. She looked at my package and asked what I was doing with it, and I politely explained that I was returning it and showed her the packing slip. She then told me she could not tape the package for me, which was fine, but said I would have to go back in line, buy tape, tape it up myself, and then wait in line again for another 35 minutes. The way she said it felt dismissive and almost like she was enjoying how frustrated I was getting. I asked if I could just buy the tape right there and tape it up, and she said that was not an option. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily rude. I ended up doing exactly what she said, waiting in line again, and this time I was helped by a different clerk who told me I could have bought the tape and taped the package when I was first at the counter. That was extremely frustrating and confirmed for me that the first worker was being difficult for no real reason. I would not recommend this post office based on this experience. It also seemed like other people were getting similar treatment from her. The rest of the staff did seem nicer, but even one experience like this reflects poorly on the location as a whole.
