This was the first time I had to deal with anyone inside the building because I didn't have an envelope. We were shipping paperwork and came in to buy an envelope. So we are walking up to the cash register in the middle, the lady named Brooke walks to a different cash register. So I asked, "Oh, do we need to come over there?" She glared at me and said, "Yeah, it's kind of hard to check out at a window that's not open." Okay, first of all, there was no indication that the register I went to was closed. It's not like Walmart where you just flip the switch on and a light comes on. Secondly, there is a better way to inform someone that the cash register is closed than being snarky. Then my husband got out is card where she preceded to say, "Don't put your card in or I'll have to start all this over again." Well heaven forbid we mess up your busy day (literally the only people who are in there). Maybe she was just having a bad day so it doesn't happen often! ‍

Cute little small town library. Centrally located right off main street by the post office. I take…read moremy kids here a couple times a week for their great kids programs like movie time, tween book club, Steam club, and Lego club. There are a few computers, a children's room, a teen area, and a couple reading areas and study tables. For adults they have a lot of programs too including cookbook club, Friday dessert and movie, and a knitters group. They are small so they don't have the largest selection of books but they are connected to a large group of local libraries including Springdale so you can order from there and pick up at this location.
