I went to tell her and she's like "never mind, write it down." So I did. I told her we had more mail that we needed to bring up because it's accumulated in the mailbox, very rudely again "Don't touch it! It's not yours so leave it, the post man will pick it up!" I told her we need room for stuff in our name to be able to fit in the box and the post man hasn't picked anything up after leaving notes that the mail isn't ours. She then just rolls her eyes and I just walk away. This is why the post office locations are dying out, due to rude staff who just don't care that you're trying to do the right thing.

Now the is not a bad place at all good people work here who r there to help you, but there's one man in particular who is an angry tyrant. He's older and bald and this is now the second time he would let me have my package after confirming it's mine. He'll talk in a suspicious and demeaning manner and will believe I'm trying to steal a package. Eventually he'll make something up saying they don't have the package there but I use both the route and shop app which allows me to track my packages. I've had friends, father, and sister all have very similar experience when confronting this guy. When no one is available it pick up the package at the address they simply send it to the post office for a future delivery. There's been times I come there and all they ask is for my name and address and that's all I need and the give me my package. But that older man won't believe the package is mine even after I give him everything he needs to confirm it. Like I said I never leave review but this was such a wasteful and aggravating way treating costumers and something has to be done about it.

These are probably the best people there aside from my mail person Teresa. She's amazing too. I love when I go there and see at least one of the Marissa's because I know I will get the help I need. I will.day that there is another person on the windows that isn't as helpful. She has a bit of an attitude. I dread seeing her because I know, the attitude is coming. My issue is that I haven't been able to receive mail address to me at my home address for the past…read moreyear and a half. It's a real problem. My residence is actually an independence however when my daughter moved out 2 years ago she turned in a change of address but when she did she only wrote, "The _______ Family" instead of just her own name. So since then all of my mail was going to her new address. Long story short, I've already went to the Independence post offices, multiple times explaining my problem, following their instruction to make a change of address and all the steps to fix it. Still not getting mail. Finally decided to go to blue springs post office, maybe they are a little more competent. That was a ridiculous expectation. The unhelpful and unprofessional white lady that I spoke to clearly decided from the start that she wasn't going to go out of her way to look into anything. Her solution was for me to start with Independence. Obviously she missed that part when I was explaining the situation to her. Also it was after 3:30 so probably too close to quitting time for her to further assist me. I didn't expect blue springs to be even more incompetent than Independence but you learn something new all the time.

The BS office is dirty with rude staff, but Grain Valley is always clean and the staff here is very nice and always have smiles on their faces. I have never had a bad experience here at the Grain Valley branch. Any time I have come in for in-person errands they have been friendly and helpful. I wish my incoming packages could come through Grain Valley as well!

Three young men showed up and hauled everything out with no problems, smiles on their faces, polite, and professional.
