One of the work post offices in the Bronx! I'm not sure where to begin. Let's start with the fact that I will check my tracking number saying my package is at the post office and can't be delivered. No problem, but why haven't they left me a slip. Does that mean they didn't even attempt to deliver it and just left my package at the station? Or how about the days that I am home and they decide they won't even come upstairs. There are only 7 floors in my building and we have TWO elevators. Stop being so lazy. So now it's time to go to the post office... it doesn't matter what time you go. The line for package pick up is always long. I stand on that line for almost an hour and a half each visit! If you know your employees aren't delivering the packages to people's homes then of course on Saturdays everyone is coming to do a pick up!! One person at the window won't cut it! The customer service at this location is really poor. I try to avoid usps package deliveries that don't fit in my mailbox every chance I get. read more

The worst customer service hands down. They are always short staffed with for the most part 2 representatives working (one handling all shipping inquiries and one solely processing pick-ups) This poorly managed location makes the wait line wrap around from the service window to the door. Management really needs to get it together with training as it takes their staff approximately 10 minutes to find one package. Plan to stay here 40 mins - 1hr and 30 mins especially on weekends. read more

Horrible post office. Our job is located at 953 Southern Blvd. and since the retirement of the regular carrier, we hardly have any mail delivered. This is horrible when you have to run a business. We now get mail maybe once or twice a week if we are lucky. We call and call and complain to no avail! read more

Has to the one of the worst post offices ever. Why does it always take so long to take care of customers. They take their sweet time , and almost never pick up the phone. And when they do answer they leave you on hold for almost an hour. Not exaggerating. read more

How I wished that I could give these folks a big fat ZERO. I have been living at my address for 1 year and 6 Months and I pay for a P.O. Box at another post office just to avoid having to deal with them. The sad thing is that some packages I order does not specify the delivery method and my package end up at this dump called post office. Long story short, I have called to complain and nothing gets done. Packages never get delivered, they don't leave a notice and when you go to the post office to attempt to pick up your package they will tell you "oh it's on the truck out for re delivery". You wait no one shows up and you go back to the post office"The dump" and they will say "oh it's not here we can't find it". Then you file a complain an investigation goes forth and they call you back in about 2days to say "sorry, but we could not find your package". THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIEVES. This place is my motivation to keep going to shool and move out this area. I had never had such a hard time getting my items. How is a package out for the delivery and then it's nowhere to be found and then lost. They steal it and keep it. here is my review from google at least a few months back.. this place is the absolute worse post office. they were under fire recently when salamanca was notified and got involved. the service improved for 1 month and it was back to the same thing. the people of the community just need to get directly in touch with rafael salamanca and send a screenshot of all these reviews as well as your complaint. as a community, we have to stand together and do our part, let him know they are still doing this and we won't stand for it. 718-402-6130 phone and salamanca@council.nyc.gov is his email. i sent him an email and the link to this because it is outrageous. they lie about delivering packages, they don't even leave notices. when they do, it is a final notice and when you come to pick it up, they haven't taken it off the truck but you have to wait 2-3 hours just to hear that directly from someone who works there. these workers do not deserve a job if they cant do what they are getting paid for. email rafael salamanca and harass his office with calls complaining about this place and watch how fast they will get it together. **update from 2/6/2020 - this post office is straight up trash. i waited all day for a package and it never came. it was out for delivery and then nothing at all. i log in to check to see the update and the audacity of this post office to still lie about attempting delivery is disgusting. it is my promise that i am making sure to get bronx 12 involved to expose all the crap that is really going on at this post office because there is no reason for why they only perform properly during the holidays and go back to trashy service after the fact. the last time i got in touch, i spoke directly with the manager and he hand delivered a package saying that this issue wouldn't happen again and here we are. an entire day wasted due to their incompetence. to the workers, i hope you are ready because i've not only got the number pasted in this review, but i already sent an email to news12. have fun explaining why youre being exposed. read more

no associate from the back comes out to help organize the line in the post office. the shortest time I have ever been there was 15 minutes. What a shame when u just need to mail something with a prepaid label. very dirty and staff is not very pleasant to talk to. Speaking of talking, they do more talking behind the glass than they do with customers. They all should be fired or retrained! read more

Avoid this place at all costs. The management and the employees are the most disfunctional group of people I've ever encountered in one place. I have contacted the Post Master General's office, they behave as if they are appalled but nothing changes. No one either has any authority or they just simply do not care. I now have everything delivered to me via UPS. Unfortunately, FedEx is not much better either. read more

This is the worst place I've ever went to. They had me waiting all day home to say my package was delivered to whom I don't know. I went in waited 2 hours to be told it was delivered off the truck but whom they don't know. They never leave a slip you have to check online to know when your package is there. This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. The workers are rude over the phone. They do not deliver your packages on time. They would rather put a notice saying you were never home without ringing your bell , even if you have been waiting all day at home for your package. The lines at the post office are long! there is one long line to pick up your packages, and there is never a line for money orders and stamps. One person is assigned to help a hundred while the other workers who are not helping anyone stand around instead of working as a team to alleviate the line. Oh but at 4:30 you can always find that new supervisor there with the key to the front door ready to lock it once 4:59 hits. They don't know the meaning of customer service. Year after year it never gets any better - I think its because of the area.
