There is a line first thing in the morning, but didn't have to wait too long. Brenda helped me ship a package and she was very nice. She even apologized for the wait, and I've never had a USPS employee apologize for that. There are markers on the ground for social distancing and masks are required. read more

My postal worker is stealing packages scanning them as delivered and not placing them in mailboxes. I had a delivery. And the wrong package was in my mailbox. My actual package is scanned as delivered but I never received it. The carrier never followed up like she said she would. This post office did nothing to help me just lied and gave me the run around. The next delivery I had I watched the carrier deliver all the mail in the boxes and she didn't even take my package off the truck. I approached her and she went in the truck to get it. That's what she does scan the package but put something else in the box. I filed a claim on 8/22 and less than 12 hours they denied it based on the tracking saying the item was delivered. When it was not. They lost my package and refuse to compensate me. read more

Crowded when I arrived at 435 pm. Only two people serving customers. The women were seemingly pleasant but long wait for service during what is the "holiday season". There were 9 people in front of me and five behind me. There was plenty of merchandise for purchase for the holidays available. They need to plan staffing to fit the season. The most useless group of people I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Ordered a package and they literally lost the entire thing and were unable to ever find it... The seller was nice enough to send it again, thank God. When the package "arrived" the idiot driving the truck left a "tried to reach you!" note at the door without ever even ringing the doorbell... I went to the post office that night to pick up the package (which said ready for pickup on the tracking) and the lady said "note says pickup tomorrow, so I can't get it..." I then scheduled the delivery for the next day in hopes that USPS would actually do their job correctly for once, and wasn't surprised at all when the truck rolled up the next day WITHOUT THE PACKAGE. Questions have been answered succinctly, options were offered for types of mailing possibilities, and reminded me about the need to replenish my stock of stamps. This postal service is literally the most unreliable mail service, especially in 30606.....the mailman barely ever picks up my mail because we have street parking and inevitably there are cars parked in front of my mailbox???? They say that the "receptacle is blocked." Are mailmen not supposed to get out of their truck or are the mailmen in my area particularly lazy and can't get out of their truck??? I have ALWAYS had bad experiences with this office. They are always rude and miserable and DO NOT want to help when you have a problem that was caused by their service???? Worst service ever!! DO NOT trust certified mail. I mailed a money order and it shows it has been delivered but the leasing office had never received. Recipient must sign before they receive it but mailman signed and it is gone. Yes, they stole my money order. Has anyone ever received a 'knock' on the door when something is sent certified mail? I never have. The 'no-knock' on my door has resulted in costing me money as well as sending late business documents to my employer with the same lame excuse. In the three years I have lived here, this has happened to me about 5 times in the 30605 area code, plus twice in this last month. This is totally unacceptable, especially when you find a little beige card in your mailbox saying "we tried to deliver, but you weren't home..." Really, you did? I would be more inclined to believe you if this was the first time it happened. To end this negative review on a positive note, the last time I went over to Olympic Dr., the man at the counter was very nice, and quite helpful. They need more postmen/women like him! read more

I hear someone knocking on my door and i just come down the stairs and by the time i look outside, they are Gone! I look in the mailbox, they leave a slip and say I MISSED A PACKAGE! No i did not! I will not use this post office ever again. I had a custom wedding ring coming from Romania. They left me a notice that I needed to sign for it when they attempted to deliver. Okay. I went in and asked for it to be redelivered on a Saturday when I would be there to sign. That day came and no ring. I called to ask about it. They said that they left me 3 notices about it not being able to be delivered and it was labeled "unclaimed" and returned BEFORE THE REDELIVERY DATE. I never got any other notice other than the first one. It was a time sensitive item and took 2 weeks to get here. Now all they can tell me is to call the place I ordered it from, PAY for express shipping and get them to send it back. Probably all for this to happen again. I will say the lady I spoke to was polite for the most part and tried to look in case it wasn't sent out on time. But I do not understand how I can have no notice and my redelivery request just be ignored. She even said that just because I get a confirmation about them receiving the request doesn't mean they looked at it and complied with it. Words cannot express how angry I am. read more

I had paid for two day delivery for my dog's medications. I had the meds sent to my office so I could be certain they were not missed. At about 6:00PM on the day they were supposed to arrive - yesterday - I checked the tracking which stated they had attempted delivery at 5:05PM and the office was closed. We were here until 6:00PM. No one attempted delivery. In addition, it was stated that I should follow instructions on the slip that was left. There was no slip. Wondering if they went to one of the other offices in the building, I went to the other offices to ask - they all told me that they received no mail deliveries yesterday and that their mail was not picked up. I have no one to call. When I call the 800 # listed on the website, I am given a recording that there will be another attempt to delivery my mail. My dog needed his medications yesterday. There is no number to call the post office directly. I have already spent three hours on this today. If the people at this post office do not care about their jobs, perhaps they should not be there and someone could be hired who does want a job? I need to find out who to bill at the post office for my time. I will simply never, ever use USPS for deliveries again - there are a lot of other options out there. read more
