Here I am reviewing yet another bridge so at least you know it's safe because I made it over!!! Thankfully!
This is a beautiful bridge that is leads you to the US navy gates. The bridge goes over the Severn River in Annapolis, Maryland. It is 75 feet high and 2,700 feet long. They started construction on 1989 and officially opened the bridge on 1994.
The design of this $34 million bridge evolved through an innovative international bridge competition co-sponsored by the Maryland State Highway Administration and the Governor's Office of Art and Culture. The winning entry combined engineering excellence with aesthetics and was selected by a diverse jury representing the numerous aspects and concerns of this important site. The structure was officially named the U.S. Naval Academy Bridge in commemoration of the Academy's 150th anniversary.
All in all it's a beautiful bridge and it handled me and the snow, so no worries when heading over!! read more
