As a consequence, Walmart delivery is far more convenient and cheaper even with the delivery fees. I like that the cashiers are friendly and the deli has a couple decent items that are not found everywhere. They have fried chicken that is decent. The store is small and feels cramped but it is generally clean. Actually getting anyone to help you is rare. They do offer fresh doughnuts which are decent and I highly recommend them. You can occasionally get a good price on limited items in the store that are not in the ads. On rare occasions they do offer good sales worth keeping an eye out for if you are someone who shops around. Keep this store on your list for bakery items and select items being promoted but definitely don't shop for your family here.

I have never received that professionalism elsewhere. They care that your shopping experience goes smoothly. I shop there at least twice a week. I have NEVER been treated rude or ignored when I would need assistance. You can't beat the prices. The meats are excellent quality and the deli has the best selection of cheeses and lunchmeats along with the best prices. They also carry unique items that are not available elsewhere. To all the staff: Keep the great work up and thank you for putting yourselves at risk during this pandemic. God bless you all Parking is a challenge because they are always so busy which tells you what a great place to shop. I just believe drivers need to slow down and be mindful of their surroundings including myself. If you lack patience, this is not the place for you. Any rudeness I've encountered in shopping there through the years has not been from the staff but from a small amount of impatient customers. I just smile at the person and move on.

I have to admit, the mixing of these two items for a business seems like a bad blend. But,…read morehonestly, I don't think I saw a vehicle for sale here, or like many other people, I had tunnel vision for when I came in here. If you are like me, you came here for beverages, many many beverages. I literally only came here for one thing and ended up walking out spending more than I thought I would. That is not a bad thing in the least, in fact, it kept me from having to make several other stops and got my butt back home where I wanted to be all along. My sister had asked me to stop in here to pick her up an alcoholic slushie. Now you are all aware that you can get that here, in case you did not know. Before I approached the counter to order the slushie I decided to do a quick browse around the store to see if there was anything I wanted before leaving. Of course I found a few items. Walking around the store you will notice that their selection is amazing and covers just about any picky beer drinkers need. I have been on a kick for Mexican beer recently and happened to find what I have been craving. I had been stopping and getting a six pack every so often, but kind of curbed that by picking up a case here on my visit. I'm not a heavy drinker, this will last me a long time. I grabbed the case and headed for the counter finally. Standing in line I was approached by one of the employees to ask me if they could take that out to the car for me. Of course, one less thing I would have to carry after I get up there and order everything else I needed. At the counter I order the slushie for my sister. I also pick up a pack of cigarettes to eliminate another stop on the way home. I ask if they have ice, and bam, another stop eliminated. This fine place got me going homeward faster than I thought I would be. Overall, I only ended up carrying out the slushie and cigarettes to my car. The case of beer and ice were taken to my car for me. Great customer service and another great place to stop in Johnstown to get your beverages.

Come for the mushrooms, stay for the cake (or give it to Mom )…read more I've had The Wine Cellar on my must-try list for months, and it finally happened. This cozy, candlelit little spot is literally in a cellar--and it oozes charm. Pro tip: they're only open a few days a week, so call or shoot them a Facebook message to make sure you're on the list! Now the food... We started with the Drunken Mushrooms, and let me tell you, they were earthy, wine-kissed perfection. I skipped the garlic bread and just went full fork-to-fungus. No regrets. Next up: the homemade gnocchi with a meatball. Loved the meatball--meaty and not weighed down by breadcrumbs. The gnocchi was a little denser (which I like!), and it all just felt lovingly made. The Baked Haddock was fresh, light, and bathed in a lemon-wine sauce that made me want to go in for seconds... if I wasn't already full. But dessert called. We split the coconut cake, and it was gorgeous. Light, fluffy, with just a whisper of anise (which isn't my fave, but my mom was over the moon about it). This place feels like a secret passed from friend to friend--and now I'm passing it to you.
