Hello, I gave this company a 1 star, it does not allow me to go under. I am 16 years old and I am…read morein the process of completing my 6 hours. As every 16 year old is I was very excited to finally get my permit! Right off the bat this woman was very 'odd'. She would not stop talking to anyone and everyone and would get snippy if you said something she didn't agree with. My first day driving, Wednesday October 2nd. She picks me up from school and I get in the car and there is stuff everywhere. The inside was not clean. We make our way to the DMV and I'm not much of a talker with someone I don't know very well so I was staying silent. She kept trying to talk to me to make it not awkward but I really was not enjoying it. We get to the DMV and everything goes how it is supposed to. We walk to the car and I sit down in the drivers seat adjusting how I need the seat to be to drive safely and comfortably. She freaks out on me saying I can't drive with the seat and steering wheel the way I had it adjusted. I told her that I physically could not reach the pedals without having the seat how i had it. Then she says how I'm too short for her car (A little white HONDA civic) and that I need to sit on one of her many seat cushions. I was not comfortable with that so I politely said how I don't think I'll need the cushion. She kept trying to really push the cushion on me. I finally put my foot down and said I'm not going to use your cushion, and even said sorry at the end of it. She backed off after I put my foot down. Throughout our entire trip she was VERY passive aggressive towards me. If I was not perfectly in the center between the yellow lines and the white line she would very aggressively grab the steering wheel while pushing my arm over in the process. She would often slam on the breaks too with no explanation. She told me to slow down then when I stated that I was below the speed limit, she said "Well it just feels fast". She stated multiple times how I couldn't have the seat how I had it but if I didn't have it that way, I would not have been able to drive. For reference I'm 5'1, and my father is 6'1, she wanted the seat as far back as my father would have had it. The entire ride I was very shaken up and there was multiple instances where I held back tears. The moment I got home I got my backpack out and told her to have a good day politely. The most disrespectful I could have been would have been saying "Ok" to every thing she told me because I couldn't focus when she was talking my ear off. The moment I got in my house I ran to my mom and started balling. I was shaking, crying. I talk to my parents about it and all 3 of us decide we're just going to go with her just to get my 6 hours done and not have to worry about it. Today, I was supposed to have the lesson at 3:00. She pulls in my driveway at 2:23-24. She immediately gets out of the car to greet my mom and the first thing she says is "I need to speak with you privately" and my mom says no we can speak in front of my daughter, she said it very politely and I'm not just saying that to defend my mother. Karen (the instructor) puts her foot down and says no we're speaking privately. Karen says how horrible of a driver I was and how difficult I was. I don't understand how I was being difficult when for the majority of the 2 hours we spent together I was silent. She got back in her car and we called the police after she refused to give my permit and birth certificate back. Once we mentioned the police, she put her car in drive and ACTUALLY hit me. then once she realized I was there she started aggressively backing out of my driveway, and hitting the curb in my driveway. The police came and a report was filed and she even went to the state police and tried to complain about us. We got a call back from them (The state police) saying how the woman was "bs-ing" and how we are in the right and legally we should be in possession of everything. I have proof of my purchase of the permit so it is LEGALLY mine. Do NOT use this woman. I have no idea how she even is still in business. Update: The police said she needed to give me my permit back, and she refused. she is now holding on to my permit ILLEGALLY..

She encouraged vaping and told me that if the radio was too loud I was to learn how to play with the radio and drive..
