Hi, So far, I'll give them 5 stars. the communication was good and they were quick and swift with my booking. however- I'm scheduled for pick up for tomorrow (my car is coming from Columbus, OH - Minneapolis, MN, I've paid the $200 deposit for the car). I'm hoping things don't change on the price I was given and that my car gets here the day that it was promised. They're picking my car up on a Thursday (tomorrow) and agreed to drop it off before I have to go to work on Monday. I'll be back with an update on what took place and if they completed their end of the bargain with no hiccups. I'll be honest, I'm a little nervous based on reading these reviews about their customer service, price changes, and cars not being delivered on time. We shall see. I'm hopeful! :) - Sammi read more

I booked well in advance with US Car-Go Freight to ship two vehicles from Minnesota to North Carolina. Before signing, I told the representative, Ken Adams, that pickup had to happen on September 29 because my lease was ending, and that I didn't want the service without that date. He agreed and assured me it was a sure thing. A week later, I called to confirm and was told everything was in order. I called again a few days before to confirm, and then again the morning of the pickup date. He said everything was all set. On pickup day, the original window was noon to 4 PM. As the day went on, the time kept being pushed back until we reached 9 PM, and then I was told no one was available. I was also told he had called me, but my phone and carrier logs show no call. Based on the conversation, he could not find a driver to pick up our vehicles even though he said he had one already lined up. I had to dispute the charges and report it to my bank to investigate. After a few days, my bank credited me back my deposit. I had to leave 1 vehicle in Minnesota and change plans. Because of the short notice, costs are very high now. Before booking with this vendor, check the BBB, Google, as well as other sites, and read the reviews. This is a common thing where US Car-Go will tell you anything, including lying to you verbally, because a verbal agreement does not matter; all that matters is the contract. Save yourself a headache, time, and money, and pay a little more and go with a more reputable vendor. read more

I booked US Car Go Freight December 2025, to transport my car in May 2026. The week of the pick up, I called to confirm the information and to find out who the driver was. I was told that they could not find a driver. And let me say that all of them have fake names. I couldn't get a real name out of anyone, generic Mike's or Kevin's. After a week of not being able to find a driver to transport my vehicle, then I am told that there was a driver secured, but they backed out due to inflated gas prices and the price I was quoted was not sufficient the driver. A couple days later I canceled and asked for a refund, which I have not received yet. I then booked service with a more reliable company.....the company that sent me the attached email. U.S. Car Go Freight was still running my vehicle on the national board, as if they were in competition with the other companies and this was making it difficult for the current transportation company to find a driver for me. I spoke with a "manager" of US Car Go Freight and explained that there was a much easier way to go about this customer service mishap....communication is the key!!!!! Explain to the customer exactly what happened and go from there. If you lie you lose a customer, so what does telling the truth hurt???? The customer is more likely to negotiate water terms with you if you keep it 100!! read more

I only wish I saw the other reviews before I booked because that is exactly what happened to me. I'm at Duty military trying to leave Florida to Kansas booked two weeks in advance gave the $200 deposit and then 30 minutes before Showtime was the first time they contacted me to tell me they can't get a driver then I was delayed two days and I had to end up canceling and get a friend to drive my car and fly him back. They also will not give me my deposit back even though they claim it takes 3 to 5 business days. It's been three weeks and now they won't answer the phone when I call. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau read more

Extremely Disappointing Experience I would strongly advise against using this car shipping company. They gave me a quote and agreed to a price, but then waited until only four hours before the scheduled pickup to nearly double the price. At that point, they knew I had very little choice because the pickup was imminent and I had already made arrangements based on their original quote. It felt like they deliberately waited until I was in a vulnerable position to increase the price. Changing a price at the last minute after giving a customer a quote is extremely unprofessional and misleading. If the price had been higher from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision and chosen another company. Be very careful with this company and make sure you get the price and all terms in writing. I would not recommend them based read more

I am only giving this company one star because I can't give 0. While they did pick up the car next day as promised and deliver it in two as promised, the bait and switch reviews were true. I took a chance and booked them because they were really cheap. But, you get what you pay for. They promised to ship it for just under $600. They called me at 3 the next day and said it was going to be $1,300. The deposit was non refundable and that was in line with more reputable companies price. I should have just booked with montway or Sherpa. I went ahead and did it because I didn't want to lose my deposit. I don't like being duped though, so I would never use them again and wouldn't recommend them. If they quote a price, they should stand by it. They know what the market is charging. read more

This is a headache. This company is incredibly unprofessional. Hired them to ship a Tesla from CA to IL. Contract signed, deposit paid, dates secured. We were guaranteed a pickup on Wednesday between 10 am and 1 pm. They failed to pickup the vehicle. They failed to secure a driver. They failed to communicate these issues. Instead of providing this information to both the pick up person and the receiver, they left it to us to keep calling back for updates. When I asked about this, Adam kept saying he was sorry and asked me to accept his apology. Sir, no one cares about your apology. This is the only day I have off and am available to transfer the vehicle. Is your "I'm sorry" going to drive my vehicle to IL on time? We wanted to cancel but now it's too late to secure another driver for the day and Adam kept me on the phone pleading to give them another chance because all the companies use the same platform to secure a driver for shipment. So basically, if he can't do it, no one else can either. This is ridiculous, especially because these time constraints were told to everyone prior to signing the contract. The original pickup date was last weekend. They failed to do that too. Now we just have to wait and see. The lack of communication is incredibly worrisome. Now that I've seen the reviews on yelp, I should have done my research before choosing this place. read more

This seems to be common practice with this company, but... I booked transportation for my vehicle a month prior to the pickup date and paid a $250 deposit. At the time of the pickup window, I had not received any information about a driver from the company. When I called to get those details, the broker stated she could only find a single driver at double the rate I had been quoted. While I was upset about this, I agreed to continue with the pick-up. As the delivery window dragged on, I called the company a total of 11 times to solicit updates because customer service would not tell me what was happening with my shipment. Having run out of time, I will now be forced to find a different carrier at an even higher price. I requested a refund of my deposit as they have now failed to pick the vehicle up in a timely manner, but each time I call, I get a fake name, and when I ask to speak to someone who can release my deposit, they pretend to find a supervisor and hang up the phone. This company is predatory and will steal your money. read more

This company is nothing but scammers and fraud artists. I contacted them two months in advance to transport my car from New York to California. They sent me a written quote for $900, and I scheduled my car to be picked up on February 27 between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. I was also charged a $250 deposit. However, they never arranged the pickup. I called "Ben Harmon" (which appears to be a fake name) at 10:00 AM, and he told me he had forgotten. I explained that I had a flight to Los Angeles at 7:00 PM, and he said he would schedule the transport immediately. About 30 minutes later he called back and said the cost would now be $1,500. I reminded him that I had a written contract for $900, but he said prices change daily. Meanwhile, they already had my deposit and could have booked the transport earlier. When I asked for my deposit refund, they refused to return it. Later I discovered that US Car Go Freight Logistics LLC is only a broker, not the company actually transporting the vehicle. They simply hire another carrier to do the work. In my case, the actual carrier was Express Line LLC (267-332-0595). They did not pick up my car until 8:30 PM, and I had to leave for my flight. They also never told me to remove my toll device from the car, which resulted in an additional $400 in toll charges. In total, this move ended up costing me about $1,900. Before hiring this company, check their record with the Better Business Bureau. They have over 60 complaints and an F rating, the worst possible rating, and they do not respond to BBB complaints. My advice: be very careful before doing business with these clowns. read more

I love these guys - use them. Decent price, reasonably satisfactory at communicating, and this reflects on the individual driver, not on US Car-Go Freight: Your driver will be incredibly late. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I have spent the better part of 2 days with them giving me the runaway with no communication. When I called the main customer service line, I was told " it looks like the driver was assigned and is running behind, he is currently in NAPLES,FL and will most likely pick up in the morning" I ask that the summary of the call be sent to me over email, he assured me he would and will have the agent in charge of my booking KATIE call me first thing when she is back in office at 8:30. I thanked him, ask that the email be sent again. I never received an email and did not hear from Katie. I called at around 9:45am, no answer from Katie, I called the main customer service line and got patch through to her at which point she said 'give me 1hr and I will honestly get back to you' I sent follow up, nothing. Took me some time again to be able to reach someone, when I finally got Katie on the line at 2:41pm, she said I could not get a driver, the only one I could get and is ready to pick up will be $1000 upon delivery, that's in addition to what I've already paid. And not to mention 3x what was suppose to be paid. At this point, I've canceled my flight because prior to booking she guaranteed my preferred date which past. She went on to say I had no other choice I could go and call other places and it would be the same price. Now please I understand as much as the next person, I actually needed the car picked up but the switch really grated my nerves. If it's $1000,$15000,$2000 say so from the get go, and lastly 1 person told me a driver was assigned already and would pick up in the morning, and now suddenly there was never a driver and this driver is asking $1000 cash. I highlighted for her that I've had to basically track her down to do lack of communication, I've spent what amounted to hours on hold waiting just to get some news, it is unprofessional and all for her to say they basically cannot deliver. What reason do I have to actually believe this person again?! The lack of transparency and the fact that when I was trying to book, responses came fast and I was getting calls, but once I booked and money out of my account, no communication, and I basically have to wait hours on hold. Either way I said I wasn't comfortable moving forward and that I would need a refund. I ask for a summary of my call AGAIN, to be sent via email for reference. She stated the only email I will be getting is from the accounting team once they were ready to process my refund, and that it could take some times. After which she HUNG UP! Hung up on a customer. Most places required about 7days business days to process refund and I will give as much before I file my complaint with the Better business bureau. Then they had another representative harass me on the phone. I ended up doing a charge back through my bank because they refused to give me my deposit back and then their representative harassed me via text, saying it was my fault for not reading the contract more carefully. I filed a complaint on Better Business Bureau and they took 6 months to respond, finally replying with they did give me my deposit back upon request, but that's incorrect as I had to do a chargeback to get my money through my bank. I am such a person that checks reviews before doing something and I cannot believe I didn't check the reviews to see it's just a bunch of one stars and we all had a bad experience‍. Well if you can't tell from the others reviews not to pick this company. Lemme add my experience. Yes this is one of those (if I could give it no stars, I would) kind of reviews. I'm writing this review in real time in my notes app so I can pin point the entire experience. Confirmed and signed an agreement for a price -Calls same day 2 hours before pick up time to change the price -Asked the cancel they said they needed to call the driver to get the deposit but I never confirmed a driver so why would a driver have a deposit. And why would you give the driver a deposit when they driver didn't agree with the signed agreement price -called me back and lowered the new price but still higher than original signed agreement price -Driver calls me (from a number different than what the original point of contact person gave me) and asked if the car could be picked up the next day because he had to get an oil change? I said no because not only did I sign a new agreement with a new way higher price, I'm on a time crunch and cannot change the SIGNED AGREED pick up day. I did say that the time can be changed to later into the day but not too late. He kind of laughed? In a weird way but I said okay. He said he will come in two hours -2.5 hours have passed. I tried calling the number he originally called me on, didn't go through. Then I call the number the point person gave me, they then gave me an additional number to call. I called that number and the guy said he truck was still at the mechanic but did not give me an ETA of when his truck will be done, or when he will be heading my way to pick up my cars. -Another random number of another person apparently all connected in some way. Said that the driver should arrive at 8pm but I stated we have a flight to catch and leave to be at the airport by 9 -(The one thing they did right) they arrived at 7:42. Still scary though the Called me and said "the driver has arrived, have you notified the customer"......Sir.....I. Am. The. Customer...... so with that I went downstairs gave them the two cars and said a prayer. -It felt mildly nice that it was a car that's only holding my two cars. Which has me to believe that their only destination is to the delivery location so hopefully it arrives in a timely fashion and find and dandy. That would bump them up to about 1 star at this point. I know moving can be so stressful and a million things can go wrong, that's why I tried my hardest to book with a company I have read reviews for and asked detail questions about how the process goes and the price, eta, and so on. So it's not only frustrating but scary when I'm getting so many signs that I should not trust these people but the changes and options they are giving me are so last minute it's like I simply don't have another choice. I just had to keep going with this company and say a prayer about it. read more

Initially, I was quoted $800 for the shipment, with a $250 deposit, as clearly stated. However, at the last moment, they altered the contract and increased the price deceptively. The revised contract now shows the 1250$ and $250 as an additional fee *on top of* the shipment cost, rather than part of it. When I questioned this, the representative mentioned car will not be shipped on time and everything was included in the new $1,250 price and no additional fees. I had already paid, and there was no mention of the $250 being an extra reservation fee. They pressured me to sign immediately, saying that if I didn't, the car wouldn't be shipped on time and I would lose the money I had already paid. Under that pressure, I signed the contract. Now, they are demanding an additional $1250.I feel completely deceived. Neither I nor my family or friends will ever use their services again.
