I'm hoping things don't change on the price I was given and that my car gets here the day that it was promised. They're picking my car up on a Thursday (tomorrow) and agreed to drop it off before I have to go to work on Monday. I booked US Car Go Freight December 2025, to transport my car in May 2026. The week of the pick up, I called to confirm the information and to find out who the driver was. I was told that they could not find a driver. And let me say that all of them have fake names. I couldn't get a real name out of anyone, generic Mike's or Kevin's. After a week of not being able to find a driver to transport my vehicle, then I am told that there was a driver secured, but they backed out due to inflated gas prices and the price I was quoted was not sufficient the driver. A couple days later I canceled and asked for a refund, which I have not received yet. I then booked service with a more reliable company.....the company that sent me the attached email. U.S. Car Go Freight was still running my vehicle on the national board, as if they were in competition with the other companies and this was making it difficult for the current transportation company to find a driver for me. I spoke with a "manager" of US Car Go Freight and explained that there was a much easier way to go about this customer service mishap....communication is the key!!!!! As the delivery window dragged on, I called the company a total of 11 times to solicit updates because customer service would not tell me what was happening with my shipment. We were guaranteed a pickup on Wednesday between 10 am and 1 pm. They failed to pickup the vehicle. They failed to secure a driver. They failed to communicate these issues. Instead of providing this information to both the pick up person and the receiver, they left it to us to keep calling back for updates. When I asked about this, Adam kept saying he was sorry and asked me to accept his apology. Sir, no one cares about your apology. This is the only day I have off and am available to transfer the vehicle. Is your "I'm sorry" going to drive my vehicle to IL on time? We wanted to cancel but now it's too late to secure another driver for the day and Adam kept me on the phone pleading to give them another chance because all the companies use the same platform to secure a driver for shipment. This company is nothing but scammers and fraud artists. I contacted them two months in advance to transport my car from New York to California. They sent me a written quote for $900, and I scheduled my car to be picked up on February 27 between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. I was also charged a $250 deposit. However, they never arranged the pickup. I called "Ben Harmon" (which appears to be a fake name) at 10:00 AM, and he told me he had forgotten. I explained that I had a flight to Los Angeles at 7:00 PM, and he said he would schedule the transport immediately. About 30 minutes later he called back and said the cost would now be $1,500. I reminded him that I had a written contract for $900, but he said prices change daily. Meanwhile, they already had my deposit and could have booked the transport earlier. When I asked for my deposit refund, they refused to return it. Later I discovered that US Car Go Freight Logistics LLC is only a broker, not the company actually transporting the vehicle. They simply hire another carrier to do the work. In my case, the actual carrier was Express Line LLC (267-332-0595). They did not pick up my car until 8:30 PM, and I had to leave for my flight. And why would you give the driver a deposit when they driver didn't agree with the signed agreement price -called me back and lowered the new price but still higher than original signed agreement price -Driver calls me (from a number different than what the original point of contact person gave me) and asked if the car could be picked up the next day because he had to get an oil change? I said no because not only did I sign a new agreement with a new way higher price, I'm on a time crunch and cannot change the SIGNED AGREED pick up day. I did say that the time can be changed to later into the day but not too late. He kind of laughed? In a weird way but I said okay. He said he will come in two hours -2.5 hours have passed. I tried calling the number he originally called me on, didn't go through. Then I call the number the point person gave me, they then gave me an additional number to call. I called that number and the guy said he truck was still at the mechanic but did not give me an ETA of when his truck will be done, or when he will be heading my way to pick up my cars. -Another random number of another person apparently all connected in some way. Said that the driver should arrive at 8pm but I stated we have a flight to catch and leave to be at the airport by 9 -(The one thing they did right) they arrived at 7:42. Customer...... so with that I went downstairs gave them the two cars and said a prayer. -It felt mildly nice that it was a car that's only holding my two cars. Which has me to believe that their only destination is to the delivery location so hopefully it arrives in a timely fashion and find and dandy. That would bump them up to about 1 star at this point. I know moving can be so stressful and a million things can go wrong, that's why I tried my hardest to book with a company I have read reviews for and asked detail questions about how the process goes and the price, eta, and so on. So it's not only frustrating but scary when I'm getting so many signs that I should not trust these people but the changes and options they are giving me are so last minute it's like I simply don't have another choice.
