If I could give them zero stars I would. This business sent 4 dresses, including a made-to-order bridesmaid's dress for my 14yo daughter and 3 other irreplaceable dresses to be worn at my son's wedding (3 weeks away), out their door with another client. This was grossly negligent, and, given their sign stating they will not release items without a yellow slip (which I believe has an item count on it), mind-boggling. How hard is it to cross-check what you grab against the yellow slip the client presents? They sent 5 extra pieces with someone, apparently without noticing or really checking that person's order. Mistake or utter incompetence? I would argue the latter. Rather than apologize to me and my daughter, they became argumentative stating "mistakes happen." In my panic, I explained there would be no way to replace what they sent away. They acted as if I was out of line to be concerned. They did call 2 clients they suspected may have had them, but they refused to pass along my number and request that the people who may have them notify me if they found them. Of note, I did not ask for the name or phone number of these people given their right to privacy. If it were me who had taken home someone else's wedding attire, I would have been happy to ease their mind and would have done so immediately. At the site of my daughter crying, thinking she would not be able to be in my son's wedding (the dress took over 8 weeks to be made and get to us), the male owner barked at her to STOP CRYING . Who does that? She was understandably upset at the idea she would be left out of one of the most important days for our family. Feeling without options and, frankly, not believing they actually knew what happened to my things, I called the police and requested a non-emergency intervention. Unfortunately, there was little the police could do but say I would have to wait to see if they turned up. US Cleaners was callous, rude and refused to accept responsibility or make a real effort to allay our concerns. It felt to me they could not have cared less about the stress they induced. On a bright note, the people who got my clothes brought them back this morning and I have them in my possession. I am sorry to them for the inconvenience US Cleaners caused them. read more

They've consistently been my go to for ceaning my high end wardrobe. Since 2019, I'm originally from Chicago Illinois. So my standards are rather high when it comes to the level of service I expect. So if you invest heavily into your wardrobe, you can trust U.S. Cleaners to get the job done. Their prices over that period of time having increased 50% to $3.49 per item., but that's understandable considering the current rate of inflation. read more

US cleaner personnel is always polite; their desk person in the afternoon is particularly helpful, remembers my name, and is customer oriented. I've used them for heavy quilts, napkins & tablecloths, cashmere sweaters, dresses, slacks, shirts & blouses. You name it, they've cleaned/laundered and pressed it. I no longer iron my shirts because they do such a good job of starching and pressing them. Their prices are the best in town. I've met people who travel almost an hour to US Cleaners because of their pricing and quality of service. My friends from Boston have made the case that they should start sending their cleaning down by UPS after seeing my receipts (and clothing, of course). I'm a big fan. The only issue I have is that now that they are no longer a secret, they're busier than ever and it takes two days to get my clothing back rather than next day service. (I'm partially to blame; I've sent all my friends to them.) read more

Asked if there was a way to dry clean shorts without using safety pins to hang them on a hangar as this creates permanent pinholes. Said they could put a note asking the presser to hang them over a hangar but could not guarantee he would see. When I showed her the plastic hangers that my previous dry cleaner used (different state) she became very cool and said that's not they way we do it here. Took my clothes and left. Happy they have so much business that they can turn away a customer who has lots of clothes dry cleaned! read more

If you like PERFUMED AIR FRESHENER smell on your clothes, then go here. Many people are allergic to scents and perfumes. This place uses a perfumed air freshener, you can smell it as soon as you enter the lobby if you are one of those unlucky, allergic people. And yes, the clothes you take home will reek of it: if you wear one of those shirts within a day or two of leaving this place, anyone in the room with you who is allergic to perfumes will smell it. I've found two dry cleaners in town who do NOT send you home with perfumy clothes. Too bad this one isn't one of them. read more

Been doing business there for several years. Must have changed owners, because quality of work, DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED! Brought in new knit blouse worn 1x. Opened plastic to see shirt snagged all the way down one side. Instead of apology, owner blamed me for condition of garment, and have had to return several light colored garments for re-cleaning! I took clothes there preparing for a trip, there were 26 shirts. Picked them all up, packed, and didn't notice that every single shirt had soured. Had to pay to have everything laundered at hotel, came back & took remaining four shirts in, explained what had happened, the attendant was indifferent & offered to redo those four shirts. I agreed, went back and picked them up, brought them home, & found that they had sprayed some sort of smelly deodorizer on the shirts!!! I didn't notice until this happened, but their attitude is similar at the other location. read more

Rude staff! I dropped off a David's Bridal dress to have it cleaned, and it couldn't be more evident that they didn't even want to deal with me. After laying the dress down, she looked at me and said, "He doesn't do David's dresses," even though I had 2 other dresses of the exact same fabric cleaned there within the past year. After I told her this, she shrugged and said, "We'll see" so I proceeded to show her the spots that had stains. I attached the tags since I was having the dress cleaned to give to a friend, and wanted to keep the extra thread and buttons with it. I asked her if they can keep the tags with it, and again, more attitude. As I was walking back out to my car, the manager approached her to look at the dress, and I heard her say loudly to her manager, "She probably wants to keep the tags so she can return it." Obviously she's not bright enough to realize that you probably shouldn't talk about the customers when you keep the doors wide open and the customer is parked right in front of the building, and I certainly didn't appreciate the implication that I'm both cheap, and a liar. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Not worth the attitude. read more
