Poorest run physician office I have ever had the misfortune of going to. It took them 2 months to get a medication approved for me. Once I got notice is was approved, I spent 3 days trying to get a callback to schedule an appointment. Now they say I have to go in for a follow up. Follow up for what??? This review only is about the office staff. The Libertyville office staff is the worst I call the office concerned with the lack of a statement and was referred to a Jenny Johnson who in almost three days didn't respond to my call. When I finally reached he she said she never received my my cell. Fact is three of the office staff told me they informed her so she obviously ignored my call. When I reached her all she had was excuses. As for the receptionist this lady was Extremely bad . One of the staff members suggested I report her to the doctor. As for my question on my insurance I was referred to the corporate office, When I called them I was put on hold and was told it would be 45 minutes. Double charged on two separate vouchers. Paid the first claim appealed the second claim. Appeals denied: no help from billing office just a stubborn repeated insistence to pay the same amount twice. Service was rubber stamp swift with little time spent on patient needs. read more

The doctors are very thorough & caring & responds to calls in a timely manner. However, the office part of the practice is a hot mess. The person who calls herself the call center is rude & must not give messages to anyone. The nurse who reads Drs notes after the appointment writes notes regarding care & follow ups & gives them to the patient who gives them to the front desk. The front desk must have their own way of doing things because they go by nothing the doctor says. And when you're waiting for a call back, it's always from a number you've never seen before! Do we have to answer every call we get until the nurse calls back.? Nightmare. If there's an office mgr , they must be to busy to deal with these problems. read more

Wish I could give him negative stats. Went in for simple cystoscopy and he gave me Psuedomonas, which is a bacteria not easily treated - and a result of instruments not cleaned well enough. Since then been in ER, and two hospital visits and still being treated. After the infection was tested for, he charged me $40 to call me, tell me it was psuedomonas, and he couldn't help me. Would obviously not recommend. read more

The doctor ordered an ultrasound, which I got. After two weeks of not receiving any updates on this report......or even an acknowledgment that they received it, I used the website and made multiple phone calls. The reception desk is more than happy to put me on hold so they can come back online saying they don't know anything about anything. The front desk has evidently no way to communicate with its own doctors. I'm 14 days since my ultrasound and they won't give me an update. It's like pulling teeth. I've had more personable customer service at the DMW. read more

I went to see Dr. Nelson with a completely blocked bladder due to an oversized prostate. After a couple of weeks with a catheter, not fun, he very successfully removed my prostate. His pre and post surgery has been outstanding. Great follow up and very caring. I cannot recommend him more highly. read more

Dr Justin Cohen is an amazing Doctor! I had a vasectomy performed and did not feel anything . I was so freaked out reading horror stories of vasectomy and it was all for nothing . This guy knows his stuff and made a terrible experience nothing at all . I don't know if I just got lucky or if all the procedures are this easy . If you need a vasectomy this is the guy to go to . A family member was referred here after a lengthy hospitalization, and the front desk staff was just rude and unwelcoming. Myself being familiar with the front desk position I'm not sure why the Libertyville location has this particular person as the first face you see as a patient walks in. My name is Dan. My story starts with my PSA numbers increasing throughout my last checkup with my family doctor. My doctor recommended that I go see a urologist. My older brother had prostate cancer 8 years ago, so we have a history of prostate cancer in my family. I decided to set up an appointment with Dr. Gluckman at Uropartners. Dr. Gluckman took care of my brother and he is doing great with no issues 8 years later. He has no cancer and no leakage. My brother is completely healthy. In my first meeting with Dr. Gluckman, he explained the steps we would need to take to evaluate my diagnosis. First, I had an MRI that came back with a few spots of concern so we decided to do a needle biopsy. The biopsy came back positive for prostate cancer. My next step was a consult with my wife and Dr. Gluckman about the next steps for moving forward. Within the options discussed, I wanted to remove my prostate. We did the procedure at Lutheran General Hospital. I went home the same day which was November 2nd. I'm now writing this on November 29th and I am doing fantastic. My bladder control came back quickly and I feel back on a normal lifestyle prior to my cancer diagnosis. I was so pleased with Uropartners through and through. The staff there is excellent and made sure I was informed about everything and made me feel good with a situation that affects so many men. This is a scary thing to go through. Cancer is a scary word. If you have the opportunity to get a yearly PSA, please do so because that's how you stay in front of this. To all the men out there, don't wait and don't avoid taking care of yourself. It won't go away. But the staff at Uropartners will help you defeat this. I have taken my father to see Dr Gluckman for many years and my father had done very well under his care. Dr. Gluckman helped my father navigate through urination flow issues and then prostate cancer. Throughout my father's treatments, Dr. Gluckman's expertise and thoroughness was appreciated and his approach and guidance were spot-on. Dr. Gluckman is extremely patient and considerate. I have never felt rushed in his presence and he always makes time to answer my father's and the family's questions. The admin staff is top-notch as well helping us to re-schedule appointments and other logistics, sometimes with minimal notice. My father's hearing is impaired but both Dr. Gluckman and the staff talk to my father slowly and loudly to make sure he understands. Our family saw multiple urologists (other practices) initially, until we settled on Dr. Gluckman. Once you meet him you will understand that he is easily head and shoulders above the rest. read more

Dr. Cohen is the best doctor I have every met within urology. He is very smart, has great people skills and makes the process of going to a urologist as comfortable as possible. I will never see another urologist. The absolute best. read more

I just wanted to provide an update. Three days passed, and no one even acknowledged my request to the on-call doctor. This morning I contacted the office again, by phone, to ask what was going on. I was told there were many people "ahead of me" and I would have to wait until the afternoon to find out more. I informed the nurse that this prescription had been called in a week ago. She then flat-out lied and said she had not received it until Friday. I have the original request, sent from the pharmacy, dated last Monday. When I explained as much, she said "maybe they sent it and no one got it? I didn't get this until Friday." No apology. No "we'll look into it." Just a flat out lie that the pharmacy, who regularly sends these prescriptions, somehow sent an automatic request incorrectly - and "no one got it." I don't even know what that means. Again, I'm waiting on an important prescription for a week. They had zero interest, and it was clear my call was just annoying to her. The second this is resolved and I get my medication, I am leaving. I would encourage anyone looking for a practice to look elsewhere. This place is too disorganized, too dishonest, and too indifferent to patient needs. Just terrible. read more
