I was so happy with my experience that, while simultaneously waiting for an appliance delivery I purchased from another company, when informed they (company I won't name) cancelled my delivery due to not knowing the whereabouts of my order, I picked up the phone that moment to call Nicole to order my refrigerator from Urner's! If you post a negative review on Facebook, Urner's deletes the post and blocks you. We bought a Maytag washer and dryer from Urner's. The salesperson told us that it was one of the best and that it was better than front load washer. The washer and dryer are not the best, they are the worst. Now even Urner's is telling us that this machine is absolutely the cheapest Maytag has to offer. Now we have this person saying that this is the cheapest and the salesperson telling us it is one of the best. We have tried many times to get Urner's to help us, but they refuse saying they are not responsible after the sale. If we want anything done, we must go to the manufacturer. We have had a repair company here, they replaced the main control board, on the washer. After 4 times of being here to look at this machine the tech told us that this washer is the worst on the market. We did offer Urner's these pictures and videos but, Urner's refused to look at the pictures or videos. read more

URNER'S PROVIDES EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. In April 2017 I purchased a complete set of new Kitchenaid appliances (double oven, microwave, gas top range, dishwasher, and refrigerator) from Urner's. It was an easy decision to buy from Urner's after meeting with our salesperson Mr. Hayden Howard. Urner's matched the prices of the deals offered at several big box stores and, knowing Urner's would cover any service related issue during the first year, made for an easy decision. Unfortunately, within 6 months, our new refrigerator experienced a problem. No worries, Urner's stepped up to make things right and that's when I was introduced to Mr. Eldon King. Eldon treated me like family and facilitated the replacement of the refrigerator (including a loaner). I can't say enough about the exceptional level of customer service provided by Urner's staff, especially Mr. King. I highly recommend Urner's to anyone looking to purchase appliances! read more

We lived in Bakersfield for 32 years and relied upon Urner's for every new appliance, even when we experienced a flood and replaced everything. With a recent move to Northern California and a potential kitchen remodel in our future, we began to visit appliance stores in our new area. Oh, my goodness! All I wanted to do was click my heels and say "There's no place like Urner's! There's no place like Urner's!" We finally made a trip back to Bako and spent time with a very gracious salesman who helped us immensely .. even knowing we may not be able to purchase in Bakersfield. Urner's, you're the best! Today we were searching for a mattress at Urners Appliance on Wible Road. We had the Best Salesperson on earth!! When looking for a mattress , one must search many Mattress stores in town. Our last stop was Urners Appliance on Wible Road. We couldn't have had a better salesperson than Hayden Howard!! He was very informative on all areas, never rushed us, never made us feel as though we were asking too many questions. We tested many mattresses, and for every mattress he had great information on each one. We were there a little over "two" hours. We purchased our " I comfort mattress " and we made the right choice for us thanks to our very informative salesman, Hayden! If you ever need a mattress, Urners is THE right CHOICE!!! read more

The service and parts departments at Urner's have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Not only were they not able to find the part I needed, after I found it on my own by calling the manufacturer, I called them back to install it. I set an appointment to have it installed on Wednesday. I received a phone call from Patrick on Wednesday morning telling me that he wouldn't have the time to do the job as it is more involved than he thought. I called back and talked to Dave the service manager and after explaining my situation to him, all he wanted to do was blame me for them not being able to perform. Unbelievable!! My girlfriend and I had a good experience here buying appliances (fridge and washer/dryer). We were greeted by Paulo. He was very friendly and courteous. We told him exactly what we were looking for as well as our budget. He showed us items within our budget and nothing else, which we appreciated. We felt no pressure to purchase, and even switched from a more expensive washer/dryer to less expensive and felt no sales pressure to stick with the more expensive. Again, Paulo did not pressure us to purchase things we didn't want, or need, like extended warranty. Paulo was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. Overall, we had a very smooth and positive experience here, and Paulo was a big reason for that. read more

On my recent visit to Urners furniture store with the intention of purchasing an appliance, I found the representatives to be inattentive towards the customers. Despite my attempts to seek assistance by asking questions regarding the products, they simply pointed towards the product labels and left me to read it myself. Furthermore, the representatives seemed more preoccupied with their cellphones instead of catering to the customers' needs. It is important to note that this unfavorable behavior was being condoned by the manager who failed to ensure that the representatives acknowledge the customers. Given that Urners is a major store brand, such conduct displays a poor representation of the company. read more

Very excited but overwhelmed while shopping for appliances. My husband took me to Urners where we meet Mr. Eldon King. Instantly felt at ease with him because he let us do the talking and listened to what our wants were and then lead us to the brand of appliances that meet our needs and budget. Never once did I feel pressured to purchase from Urners nor did I feel like I was being "up sold" on appliances. He answered all of our questions except one and was sure to have the answer for us on our next visit. Called Urner's yesterday to fix my dryer that wasn't heating. They actually wanted to come out that same day, but I was unavailable. The service tech, Josh, called me this morning to confirm my afternoon appointment and then called me about 20 minutes before arriving. Totally cool. Didn't take him all that long to figure out that it wasn't a huge problem (thank goodness) and get it back up and running again. Josh was very pleasant, paid attention to how he handled the appliance, and even re-shaped my exhaust hose as he was putting it all back together (keep lint from backing up in it). Very nice! I like Urners. They have good staff who really tries to help you find what you need. I bought a stuffed recliner from them and it did not take long to pay for it or to have it delivered. They let you choose the delivery date. The recliner I ordered will allow the back to be pulled off (Flexsteel) so that it can be brought in through your front door easier in two pieces, in case your front door was too small for a big recliner. I have bought from Urners before, and bought a TV and DVD player some time back. They also have an installer on call in case you need something installed. read more

Ray helped us today with the purchase of a new refrigerator. He showed us different brands and discussed the features of each. He wasn't "pushy" about making a sale, and left us alone to discuss privately which refrigerator was the best purchase for us. Ray was friendly and personable. We went to Urner's this weekend to check out refrigerators expecting it to be just one stop of many, but in the future this will be our first and only stop. Nicole was our salesperson and was so helpful! She asked questions we didnt even think of to make sure we were buying what would work best for our family. We appreciated the safe shopping experience for our new mattress. During this pandemic, it's important for customers to feel safe, but still attended to and informed about a potential purchase. Urner's salesman, Randy did that for us and we were happy to buy local! Plus, our new mattress is so comfortable! We went this morning to look at a variety of appliances and furniture and she was the sales associate we worked with. She was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy at all--which was really appreciated. URNER'S IS AMAZING!! They helped bail us out of a jam that Lowes put us in by selling us a washer that they didn't have in stock anywhere after telling us they had one. We were able to go in and find a washer and dryer that they had in stock and they delivered it the next day! They were also very honest about what they had in stock and what the expected delivery dates were. We bought a few items from Urner's and our sales person was Tyler. He was extremely knowledgeable when it came to furniture and T.V's. They didn't have everything in stock however Tyler kept us updated through the whole process and even checked up on us after everything was delivered.
