A good kebab, and a really friendly guy.
But I do have some pet hates for take away food, and one of them is a complicated pricing system. You always end up paying more than you thought, because you didn't understand the menu!
Unfortunately, this happened here today.
It's the difference between Dominos and Subway. Dominos will charge you for any and everything they possibly can, even when it doesn't make sense. And at exorbitant rates too.
Subway will mostly charge you one price - the menu price. And you can have exactly what you want, and how you want it.
Respect.
Today, I was charged 50c for sour cream.
Now, it is a testament to how cheap I am that I let it affect me, but it's also the principle! The kebab was advertised at $8.00. Why should I pay more for one sauce than another? A kebabs a kebab! If I knew it was $8.50 when I ordered it, I may well have gone elsewhere! I've been had!
Alright, well there's a lot of melodrama there, it's not as bad as I make out. Here's the low down on the rest of my experience:
The kebab was really great, the service was friendly and efficient, and overall, an affordable experience. I would recommend that you visit the place if you so please, but be free with your money, or ask for a subtotal as you order.
And bring your own sour cream. read more
