The building is an old department store with lovely window display area. Very large! We stopped because we thought it might be antique store, but it wasn't, so I hurried through it. Bought a couple pieces of candy, that's about it. Just not my cup of tea!

I do recommend to be aware of one certain Vehicle Window Decal item tho that is Sold here, [up front by cashier] when you go to Separate the Clear Plastic Front of Decal from the White Rear piece the Letters of the City of Cambridge is suppose to stay attached to the Clear Plastic Vinyl Front but not all the Letters does a few does but most will not detach from Rear White piece so that you can take the Clear Front and place on Window and rub Letters onto vehicles window and then pull off Front Clear Vinyl and Letters stays on Window. I was little vivvid that this decal did not work correctly cause every where i and my wife has been to, we always search for one of these decals for the vehicle, looks like now i need to start placing these decals onto vehicle where i bought the decal just in case there is a issue instead waiting to return back to our State of Residencies

He gauged the movement for replacement of one of his many original replacement movements, but none of them were the correct size to fit into the horseshoe opening. John assured me that he could replace the movement with a new Quartz electric movement and be able to use the original clock face and glass cover. I picked up the new movement today, it looks great and you cannot tell that it isn't the original movement. Great price and a amazing looking repair. I will recommend Hilltop clock Shop to all my friends and anyone else that needs a timepiece repaired or cleaned. Also John has a an amazing collection of clocks of all different shapes and sizes and two really great jukeboxes, they sound wonderful. Thanks again John.

But, respectfully, they are risking serious liability issues with 1/2 price items in a basement that is unbearable with (black?) mold stench. I literally could not breath, it was so toxic. There is no humidifier and the mold is just clinging to everuthing. I'm now in my car with "tight" lungs and persistent dry hacking. A person with asthma would have been in serious trouble. You can't smell it upstairs, but one wonders if mold spores are circulating in the air. You expect dust and and a bit of mustiness in antique stores. This was not that. It really ought to be reported for the sake of public safety. Items in the basement would be dangerous to own, in my opinion, if they are of fabric, textile, wood, or paper (there are rows and rows of books). It's a wonderful shop, but I'd emplore the owners to gut and clean that basement, treat for mold, and add humidifiers or close that whole area downstairs to the public.
