She will sit with you before your massage to address any concerns or problem areas and listens to what you want and need. The moment you walk into her office, you are instantly transformed into a relaxed state. I had a therapeutic massage with foot treatment today and I felt like I had an out of body experience. She is amazing and truly gifted. The treatment area is clean, smells wonderful and the music is soothing and relaxing. If I could give her a mlllion stars I would. After experiencing it - I know I will be doing it again. The float is weird at first, but after you get settled the stress and tension just seem to float away. My neck had a pain in it for awhile, and it is relieved after the float. I didn't expect that. I thought it was just going to be an interesting experience, I had no idea the tension relieving benefits that I would receive. I can't wait to do it again! I had the appointment in the morning, and am writing this review late in the evening - and I have been relaxed and tension free all day. Stress has eased. The benefits are amazing. The pool is large and there is a shower in the room. I would advise taking a bag with all the products you need to shower and get ready. I took a large bag. I wish I would have taken a bag that had different compartments because all my stuff got jumbled between what I needed for shower and getting ready. You will shower and dress in the float room - but them move to another room to finish your blow drying - so it will be easier to keep your items separate for easier and faster access. Take a good shampoo with you - my hair felt very salty (no surprise) when I was finished. So I wanted to give a good wash and condition after. If you have a scrape - use the ointment provided to cover it. The bath does sting if you have a cut. I had one on my knee that I didn't even know I had until I got in the bath.

And then I found Corey! When I say massage therapist I stress the word 'therapist'. I have had two back surgeries that left my right leg mostly numb even after a year of physical therapy. I found Corey and after I set up regular appointments my leg is usable again!! It is nice to know that I can walk without a limp and it is because of Corey. Their massage sessions include extra time to discuss your personal history and needs so when you schedule an hour massage the hour starts when they start massaging. Most other places I went to before included the consultation with the hour so you were cheated precious hands on minutes. If you arive to your appointment early you get treated to a warm aroma therapy neck pillow that gets you in the mood for a splendid time. Crista is a miracle worker when it comes to headaches. She uses the latest technique for migraines and chronic headaches--cold stone therapy. I can't express how much I hate cold things on my body, but when I'm suffering a debilitating migraine I will gladly allow these super cold marble stones to lay atop my face for some much needed relief. I have yet to "try" Grace Schwartz, but knowing how particular Cynthia and Joe are about who they hire, I would bet money she is just as skilled as the rest in her particular specialized field. I was in "treat myself" mode, so I took 15 tiny minutes to get a chair massage. After I explained that I'm basically a continuous giant knot of fast twitch muscle fiber covered in pasty skin, the plan was made and the massage began. Alexis was kind enough to systematically smash every last suboptimally configured piece of flesh to its proper place. Seriously, she was fantastic with pressure (I like a lot!), had a very clean and attractive area, incredibly empathetic towards my body and and my mind, and really just a total joy to be with. Also, the chair enables a particular angle on the hips that's just sublime. I will be back to visit her in the future and I recommend all massage lovers stop in for a quick tune up.
