My colleagues bought a leaving gift for someone last week from here and she seemed impressed - it certainly was wrapped beautifully but she then opened it up and the bottles were tiny so the packaging was deceiving - important therefore to read the ml level on all bottles and not just judge it by the box size. Fine for gifts but does anyone really enjoy getting these gifts - most people stick them to the back of the cupboard. The smell of one bar of soap will however fragrance your bathroom for months!

I love kay and am not the type of person to give bad reviews but this woman Rosie really let's McIntyres down. I am the 4th person I know of that thinks this and has found alternative salons. My best friend also had a bad experience with Rosie. It was near the end of the day and her hair was not finished she was one of the last customers to leave and Rosie was standing at the main entrance and as my friend walked out Rosie said to her we do have other things to do you know. Why her hair taking longer than planned was my friends fault I don't know but she had just paid over £350 and to be spoken to like that isn't on in my opinion. I have also had Rosie do my hair she washed it with freezing water cut it terrible and had an attitude like she THOUGHT she was better than everyone else and it was some kind of favour she was doing for me by doing my hair huffing puffing and sighing the whole way through. I must say though, whilst I consider the hair salon prices to be a bit over inflated the beauty salon prices are reasonable! Enough about the price, the service is a bit more important. You are made to feel a welcomed customer with a coffee with biscuits on arrival. The staff generally tend to be very friendly and helpful and they really know their stuff. I usually don't go for the whole shampoo recommendation thing however when I tried the products the girl was so right, who knew I had thin hair but lots of it!! I haven't tried the beauty salon yet but that is next on the list as I hear very good things about it. Nicola and Corinne are my favourites. The juniors are well trained and the salon is bright, modern and spacious.
