I explained that I had a major event this weekend and I needed amazing hair cut with a sharp hairline. He explained that he had been cutting for over 20 years and once owned a barbershop so I figured I was in good hands! however he pushed my hairline back and inch in a half. My haircut is so bad, I think I'm forgo going to my event. I'm truly disappointed and will never patronized this establishment again. As a barber that has been cutting for over 20 years, I would think you would ask your client about their hairline if you had issues. He just completely butchered my hairline and tried to fade my hair to cover up his mistake. I was livid when I left the shop and chose not to make a scene in front of other customers. The barber shop itself has nothing that makes it stand out, but it's clean, it has some flat screen TVs and there is always good conversation going on. I am currently a client of Ms. Darlena, who is one of N'Style's veteran female barbers. She is truly a gem and I hope she stays at N'Style for a very long time. She's highly professional and the care she gives her clients is an 11 out of 10. She does an amazing job cutting hair, and she always ends my haircut with a face massage that includes moisturizer and a warm towel. I also take advantage of the shop's shampoo service. Shout out to the Shampoo Assistants, who work equally as hard by shampooing hair, answering the phones, and keeping the shop clean. I truly appreciate all the contributions of the staff. Recently, the prices increased slightly, but I assume it's due to the overhead that came with opening the third shop in Capitol Heights. I am not bothered at all by the increase (mine was only a $2 increase). It is the first time the prices have increased in the 6 years I've been going here. I am more than happy to pay a little more to keep this amazing establishment in business.
