I've never left an online review for ANYTHING before but this UPS has driven me over the edge. USE ANYTHING ELSE.
I order goods from China on a regular basis and they sadly use UPS to ship, even though I have asked them to send via ANYTHING else.
UPS gives an update on the tracking and 1-2 days before asks for payment of customs and duty fees. I call the 1800 number so I can get a confirmation right away and make sure they have the right address and check up on everything. During the day of delivery, no matter what I do, and no matter what address I use (I've tried multiple addresses to see if the solution was able to be fixed in a different area), they will say delivery attempted and unable to collect their customs fees. Which I have paid via their 1800 number. I call them the moment that this happens and they look at their systems, to which I end up being correct. They say that the package is being redirected and will be delivered later that day. Every time, this fails. They try the same thing the next day. 2-3 more days of the same garbage. Call and confirm I've paid. They say its paid. They attempt delivery. Say no fees have been collected. Threaten to send back to sender. I have emailed them screenshots of the credit card confirmation, read back their own confirmation numbers they've given me. EVERY time I ended up being correct.
They will promise delivery and I literally will make them say "I promise it will be here today". To no avail. It does not work. They do whatever they damn well please.
This has happened...ready for it.... 18 different times in the past 5 months! I've started an Excel spreadsheet to track all the times I've called, got their employee numbers, the call log number, everything. Every time they will fail. I ask for no special instructions, delivered to only residential addresses.
I've lost it with them on the phone dozens of times.

FOLLOW THE UPS TRUCKS BACK TO THEIR DEPOT on Simmonds Road.
I literally have phoned them and said I am following a truck and will do so until they give me my package. I end up at the Distribution Centre and stay on the phone with the agents, who advise me to not do this. I make it very clear I am in no way threatening them but am receiving my package that I have PAID FOR.
I've done this twice now. BOTH times, someone in the staff entrance comes out, apologizes, says the package never even left the distribution centre and the tracking numbers were useless.
This is the WORST excuse for a company ever. I've cried so many times begging them to fix this. The address has been right every time. There's no special instructions. The fees are paid (sometimes twice so I think it will help!).
Truly. Fuck you guys. I hate you. With a passion. I would gladly pay DOUBLE the entire package value to NEVER deal with UPS Dartmouth again. There is no cost worth what they put you through. read more
