Customer service is TRASH. The cashier " Ricky refuse to give his last name" was super rude! I attempted to pick up my package with my passport which is a government issued identification and he wouldn't allow it. I identified many signs in the area to remind him where it says government issued identification. On top of that the security didn't wear his mask properly over his face. read more

They stole my designer clothes from Louie Vuitton out of my package upon receiving it from California they cut off the original box sticker repackaged it to a new box and changed the weight on the new sticker . When they delivered it i didn't think to check the weight or the contents because of my rush to pick up my kids from school but when i got back i realized they replaced my items with garbage and blank paper. I literally lost thousands of dollars and can't get a refund because The company only insured lost packages not delivered tampered packages . Please don't get nothing of value sent here . They will steal your stuff if of value. read more

UPS Customer Center - They cut off the old sticker placing it on a new box to repackage my delivery. - Shipping Centers Near Me - Newark, New Jersey

Aside from the fact that this location is in the worst part of town, I was the 6th person in line when I arrived here just before 5:00 on a Monday afternoon. The one employee working the counter was not even at the counter since he was searching all over in the back for a package. He finally appeared five minutes after I walked in the door. Instead of paying the unarmed contract security guard who was just playing on her phone the entire time, perhaps UPS should hire a second employee to work the desk. At least the customer service is usually friendly. read more

Unfortunately this is the location where I have to pick up my packages when I use the hold for pick up option. Not exactly the best place to get in and out off and the parking sucks. Minus a star for all the low lifes that happen to be on line there no matter what time you come for your pick up. read more

Horrendous delivery company. The driver always leaves packages in not do safe places. I have pictures of deliveries left out in the open. I'd give it a zero if I could. read more

Joint complaint with this location and the lack of communication with Corporate. Expected an oversize package, 150lbs. I requested hold for pick as soon as I received the tracking information, they stated that it could not be done, had to be delivered. Waiting home deliver day: -5am: Out for deliver. -10am: Notification that delivery rescheduled for next day (for unknown reasons). I call Corporate again to ask to hold for pick up, only to be told, expected delivery is now 5 days later. (No reason why). -1pm: Notification that package is held at location, READY FOR PICK UP. I get there, no package. Package is still on truck, told to come back at closing. -5pm. I happen to be going on errands, as I walk out, who pulling up, UPS Truck. After all this back and forward, finally receive my package. Unacceptable lack of communication all throughout the process. read more

Always leave the package inside the build, not the stoop. The poster.workers.are.always will answer your question.

THE WORST HUB EVER!!! The drivers are liars and my packages go missing. They always say "left at front door" when it is left in the lobby. How do I know? Because I live on the first floor and they can't be bothered to walk 10 feet to my door and knock. They leave it anywhere else or not at all, steal it and claim delivered. The supervisors have not once called as they say they would. I hope Amazon gets their planes soon and put you all out of business. This hub is run by incompetent idiots that obviously steal and don't honor UPS guidelines. The union is doing a great job at protecting these monkeys. Oh wait, a trained monkey would do a better job!!!!!! read more

At what point do you finally admit YOUR DRIVER DOESN'T EVEN TRY TO DELIVER THE PACKAGES? In 2 years I can remember every package I received. We are lucky if we get the simply courtesy of one of those sticky notes-- even luckier if it has an address, even luckier if it actually says the name of the drop off point. USPS, Amazon Courier, FedEx, Lasership (ffs), DHL, ALL deliver here with NO PROBLEM!!! Because their drivers aren't LIARS!! I'm sitting here with a case # from yesterday where I was promised a call "within in an hour" from someone in Asia, of course no call. If someone at UPS would simply NOTICE and check and see that your packages NEVER GET LEFT AT OUR APARTMENT COMPLEX!! seriously!!! How can you let this go so long? I've filled out UPS my choice numerous times, given the access code to the building, given permission to leave it. I will literally sit and wait and no call to my phone, no call from the directory, not even a knock or a sticky note of an attempt, yet it says "I wasn't home" and gets transferred to a pick up point. I have photos from the few times there were "attempt" noticed left of other residents writing "YOU NEVER SHOWED UP I WAS WAITING FOR YOU" UPS, PLEASE I am BEGGING you, look into our route!!! Do something!!! You have a history of tracking numbers to reference and see there is NO courier service being provided. Our packages get dumped at a nearby (sometimes very sketchy) quick mart or pharmacy and we don't even get the courtesy of an ATTEMPTED DELIVERY we PAY for! This is SO frustrating! Why don't you CARE? read more

I thought the person who helped me was knowledgeable professional and courteous. Very few times do you see people who are elated to be at work. The gentleman who attended to me was well mannered and expeditiously assisted me with my package. I saw mostly Bad reviews the only thing I can think is that UPS listen to the bad reviews and ma. Good for you UPS for listening to your customers and acting appropriately. read more

Absolutely horrible place. Last week I was not able to be home to receive the package. I called and they told me that they had it and I could come by between the hours of 8pm-9pm. (Yes only one hour) I show up there at 8pm and there was already a line waiting for the door to open. The door opens, and we proceed to go in just to be informed that the driver was not there yet a mad that they should arrive within 10minutes. Approx. 20 people were waiting for drivers to come in, we waited until 9pm just to be told that they needed to and to come back in two days and that our packages will be there for sure, so we wasted all this time waiting for nothing. I was talking to the security guard and he mentioned that this is a normal occurrence. UPS need to keep their employees and customers better informed. To tell the customer you have a package on hand when you know YOU DONT. read more

Where shall I begin?! Very nasty and unprofessional person called me from the ups store after I made a complaint to customer service about my paid for 2day shipment which didn't arrive all of a sudden at 8:45pm due to severe weather conditions. It amazes me how alllll day my package was in transit, but then at the end of their shift it's now severe weather conditions. The guy says "you know it's a state of emergency right!" Then why were your guys working?!!?!??!!?!??? Disgusting!!! Now my package is delayed until tomorrow with possibility of not being shipped again! read more

Yelp u have to allow half a star cuz 1is not what they deserve between sending item to wrong address it's always a issue no one is professional and they have new driver every 2weeks and then package go missing read more

Very bad, unreliable service as of late from the UPS driver(s). Claim that they came by, which they didn't, left no door tag so I could not go online and schedule for my package to be left at the local UPS office. Online says that my package would be taken to an UPS Access Point across town when there is one right across the street from me!...Next day, says it's on the truck going to access point and at 3:22, message says it can't be delivered to access point, will try again tomorrow!...This is ridiculous!...Anything lower than 1 Star for their rating? read more

UPS has the worst customer service that I have every had the displeasure of dealing with, I would rather have my packages delivered threw FEDEX then UPS at least FEDEX rings your bell to make sure you know your packages are here. UPS not only does not notify you that your package is here, they deliver the package anywhere but where you live. Their employees are lazy not count bums that should just stay home and allow us to come and pick up our packages on our own. At least we'd be sure to get them, and don't go to the office on Gould St. those idiots don't want to work, they just want to get paid. So sad, can anyone tell me how to get all my packages delivered by FEDEX? read more

Once again ups driver claim he delivered my packaged didn't ring no bell nothing I been on the phone all day calling ups customer service it's sad we see it all day on news where ups carriers steal the packages don't even take it off the truck but one good thing my neighbor has a camera oh yes no ups never delivered nothing here's the proof so why investigate now I have to wait 48 hours to get anything done. Called ups 5 times still waiting for a call back since 2:35pm read more

So the drivers just stick tickets on building entrances never attempting to make any effort to deliver packages a big F U to the driver who violates my shipments read more

Without a doubt the best experience I have received from a mail shipping/receiving facility. The staff was able to handle my issue with the package I waited for all day to come but never did. This is how it is supposed to be. There was someone else at the facility who literally commended the workers on the spot for a job well done. For all of those "yelpers" quick to complain about UPS, food, hotel etc, why are you all not quick to compliment as well. Take the good with the bad people. read more

Literally the worst place to come pick up your items. They habe no respect for people. Im standing on a line outside with about 30 more people while they were supposed to open at 10 and its 11:18 there door is still close. People have stuff to do why cant the come outside and let people know why is the waiting for. So unprofessional i wish there was a way to give zero stars. Please have your items delivered by USPS, or a different location other then the one on Gould have. You welcome. read more

I've had the worst experience with UPS this last week and a half, on 9/20/2016 I was told by the I use to order that it would be delivered to me by the end of the day and it didn't come, ups said the package was unbelievable and they would resend it out the next day and that turned into a week I will send it out the next day. They never even attempted to come and deliver the package because we have security guards at the desk that has to serve you in when you come in the building for whatever reason deliveries whatever and UPS will never own their paperwork they told me they are the worst. If you have other choices to get your package delivered go with it because UPS is the worst in Newark. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but boy oh boy will I. Worst service I've ever had with ups, and I have had some really bad service with them in the past. This one takes the cake. Called multiple times for the past few days regarding my package that was supposed to been delivered. Everyone tells me different stories on what's going on. Long story short my package was basically in the middle of a hot potato match, truck to truck, out for delivery, back in transit, loaded on truck, out for delivery..And then the "it was loaded but it didn't leave the facility.. you get the idea. Customer support even told me that they just talked to the driver and he is on his way right now! BS. Centuries have now passed and still no package. 0/10 won't do it again . read more

My wedding invites are God knows where. I paid for same day delivery that should have been delivered by last Friday now I will be lucky if I get it by Wednesday. They have been sending it all over Philadelphia and south jersey. I am beyond pissed off. Every time I call their customer service has a different response. read more

Continue to have bad experiences with UPS. Once again HQ and distribution center seem to have no ability to communicate effectively. Tired of waiting time on phone and driving to Gould St to track down a package that the IVR said was at center ready for pickup only to show up and be told it is still on truck. UPS is the worst. read more

I am extremely unhappy with the place UPS. This location is closed until Jan. 1st. 2020 I have packages for my businesses locked in the warehouse and cannot received them until then. I will not use UPS anymore. I will take my chance with USPS the postal service, they're much cheaper and more reliable. It cost me 109.00 to ship these items before Christmas through UPS, the postal service would have cost me $ 26.00 now it is costing me time and more money with the UPS. Never again will is use UPS. read more

Everything about ups's customer services is the worst. They lie about calling customers back and refuse to file complaints on drivers that don't deliver packages. read more

Ups is the worst. They took it upon themselves to reschedule my delivery from Friday Aug 14th to Wed Aug 19th when it was already out for delivery. Its a bed for my kids, so now they have nowhere but the floor to sleep. When I call to see what the problem is they blame Amazon, but it wasn't Amazon who made the change, it was them. Everytime I call I get a different answer. If it's delayed deliver next day, which is Saturday. Ok that's fine, I get delays happen, but even after I was assured by Their OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT that I would get it Saturday, I still did not. They keep telling me they can't make any changes, because amazon made the reschedule... makes no sense. I would give no stars if I could. If its on the truck out for delivery and you are one town over from the facility why is it taking 4 days for me to get it, when I should have gotten it yesterday. Choose fed ex instead! read more

I have used UPS for my business for several years. This location happens to be my pickup location for claiming packages. Its convenient to my home and if you come during the day for service there is never a long wait. My only gripe is I wish they had a parking lot. read more

I would literally give them 0 start if I could! Unprofessional workers )sorry I just cant call them person!) who even if you are home and you open the gate for them when they ring to your apartment the don't want to bring your package and prefer to leave with it?!? How would you call this??? Is more than unprofessionalism! Have no idea what kind of I..... Works there but this is insane! Call them 8 times to get my package, all supervisors assure me I'll get my package, took a day off so I can sign for that package, offered them 3-4 different ideas for me to do to make their life easier and me getting my package and they basically refuse anything?! How can you call them when they refuse to give you a $700 worth of package?! There is a real communication breakdown between the drivers, UPS locations, Access Points and the call centers. UPS should make it their business to create a synergy of communication that benefits the consumer. For example, if a package is being delivered and the consumer is not avaible, UPS should empower the driver, to automatically send a text message and or call to the consumer with intentions of where the package will be. Once that information is in the system, all UPS attributes ( locations, Access Points,Call Centers and etc) should receive this information. UPS should not be making independent decisions for the consumer to place a package at a location and then claim they contacted the consumer when that did not occur. This kind of breakdown in business and communication only weakens the trust of the consumer and allows competitors to not only steal loyal customers but strategize the shortcomings of UPS and turn them into victories for them and their consumer base. Just something to think about.... read more
