I work from home and my company delivers my equipment through UPS, and these drivers don't give a fuck about your items. They left a company laptop ON TOP of my mailbox. then another time left more electronics at the bottom of my driveway in a plastic bag in the rain. then the most recent time, my wife ordered a jacket for our daughter and we were told by the post office to use their physical address and then the P.O. Box number. the diver refused to go in so the post office could sign for it. then my wife called and asked if she could pick it up and they told her to kick rocks and sent it back. we got our P.O. I own a park on Douglas Lake in Dandridge TN . The UPS driver had words with one of fifty families and know will not deliver parcels . UPS is automated and can not be contacted .The driver was stopped on the road and asked to leave the parcel on the porch at the office and that it was a Christmas present he said to bad and was very rude . Just the worse, anytime I've ordered a package online in the last year and it says UPS is delivering it is getting delayed, every single time. Sometimes they get delayed several days, sometimes a whole month. Recently, UPS has just started refusing to deliver my packages, instead choosing to place them up at pickup locations, which is bizarre since I live within a very small apartment block. I've attempted to ask why this keeps happening, but I can't even get ahold of a person on the phone or email, and I've not heard good things about their service in person (but I have no experience with such, as their drop off locations aren't even operated by UPS) within the last 2 months everything I've ordered has come completely beat up, as if it was placed under 20 different boxes for a week. Received multiple notices with different tracking #s for the same delivery that was to be delivered after we had completed purchase of our new home saying that the item was going to be delivered 3 days early. Paid $10 to reschedule it and yet still received notices that it was going to be delivered 3 days before we owned the home. Called customer support and after continuing to hit 0 over and over again, finally reached a human. They told me that they "could not find the rescheduled delivery in their system" and that I should enter a new request (giving me the privilege of paying them yet again). Got put on hold for over 20 minutes between waiting to talk to someone who couldn't help and a supervisor when I asked it to be escalated but never was never transferred to. Finally, just gave up. I don't really understand this but a company like United Parcel Service brags about customer service but they offer none. I ordered 3 packages. All 3 arrived in Knoxville on Thursday February first. I expected to receive them on Friday but nope I received one of them Saturday morning and another Saturday afternoon (two different trucks????) The third package is still not here after 6 days in Knoxville. I tried to go to the service center on Saturday to pick it up but they are closed on Saturdays. Unbelievable! I tried going on line with no luck then I called customer service support and after talking to a computer for 5 minutes then being on hold for 12 minutes the young lady said there is nothing she can do but tell a supervisor in the morning. Uh oh! A big footprint on the box. Since I worked there for several years, I know how things work at UPS. They stomp on your items, toss stuff around, and generally don't care. The frame inside is cracked and nearly split in half. The problem is UPS. 1st visit to this location, and I will definitely be coming back. Greeted with large sign at doorway that everyone should be masked during this pandemic--YEA! As I read that, I was greeted by a CSR who walked me through the process, who picked perfectly sized boxes for the goods I was sending to 2 out-of-state locations. When I was finished with entering the shipping information in the computer, she packed the boxes and taped them. When I realized that, although the packages were identical, I wasn't sure which note to which set of grandkids was in which box. Without hesitation and without one hint of exasperation, Angie opened one box and let me verify where it was going, and that, obviously, solved where the other one headed. The pricing for shipping was very reasonable, and I was told delivery will be tomorrow or the next day. Again, YEA! Angie delivered above and beyond customer service! I've broke my glasses two weeks ago, so I've ordered one and paid extra to have it shipped as soon as they done making them, everything was going as plan, the delivery day was assigned last Friday July 22nd, but didn't happened, reason that the distribution center didn't put it on the truck to be delivered that day, and they said it will be delivered the first business day which happened to be Monday July 25 before 4:15 pm, , it's ok Monday will be ok, at 3:35 pm that day the UPS truck drove by my house and didn't stop, so i called, customer service said that the business where the package going to be delivered was closed and they will try again the next day, hold on what business , this is a house address, my house, so I've explained that to him he said a manager will call me before 7 pm, well no phone call from anyone, but Tuesday July 26th the manager called me at 9 am, she assured me my package is in the truck and i will get my glasses no later than 4pm, nothing no package, so again i called customer service, same answer, a manager will call you before 7pm, nothing again, no phone call whatsoever, its now 10 pm on Tuesday night and still don't have any information about my glasses, so I've tried to file a claim, but their system didn't allow me because it's not 24 hours yet, seriously.... it was 5 days ago!!!!!!!. Firstly, I completely understand how difficult it is people who work in the package handling industry- as I personally have worked for one.....that being said I have had nothing but issues with UPS here locally. I have called the 800 number and have been assured that a Local dispatcher would be reaching out and they never do. My driver has marked my house as a business and has on numerous occasions scanned a package as undeliverable because the "Buisness was closed". My house is in a sub division less than 1/4 mile from the hub. If you can't get your deliveries done- I GET IT- but man have some integrity. Don't lie and say you came by (I was home AND I have cameras) and surly don't turn my house address into a business with Outrageous "hours" (apparently my house was closed at 10:39am on a Weekday) so that in the future my packages won't even be attempted to be delivered. Whoever is in charge of this hub needs to get back to work- as they have obviously let a lot slide due to the pandemic. read more

3 "attempts" were allegedly made (They didn't even leave a note let alone knock on my door) I was at home ALL day, yet there was no attempt to even deliver the package, and why would they when they can easily lie about it? Be aware of this UPS store. My AirPod pros were stolen and they still had the nerve to deliver the empty box. They were supposed to be delivered the night before, they were in the area for over 6 hours. I called their customer service and basically received no help. Then I get the empty box today. This shipping center is usually quick and courteous. I have even asked them for advice on shipping odd-shaped or larger items, to which they take the time to brainstorm with me or explain how they've experienced other customers shipping those items. For some reason UPS hates me. I have to go to Callahan Rd to get my packages as they have deemed it so. The truck passes by my house every day. It started when I called at Christmas to see where my package was after receiving notification they had delivered to me, but they took my package to a neighbor's house. They finally got from neighbor two days later. My husband spoke sternly to carrier who said it was dark and raining when he delivered it (it wasn't). He told someone at UPS he was cursed by my husband (he wasn't) so now they have in their records that I have requested to pick up (I didn't). Requested that a supervisor call me (no one has). I've never had poorer customer service than what I've received from Knoxville UPS. For three consecutive days, my package was not delivered because the "address was incorrect." After calling customer service four times, and "correcting" my address at least four times, I've yet to receive my package. It's now Saturday and even though employees are at the distribution center, I was told I'd have to wait until Monday after I told customer service I'd go pick the package up myself. The distribution center has called me once since this began, while attempting to contact the driver the supervisor indicated he would call back within 15 minutes. He's yet to call back and I've yet to receive my package. At this point nobody is giving me any answers or helping resolve the issue in any way. read more

They have lost 5 packages from our office just the month of July. The most recent is a postage machine that will cost us $1,000 if they don't find it. They no longer allow drivers to scan packages when they pick them up unless you schedule a pickup. Shipping was to be delivered 10-29-18 I have been gave the run around. 1st my packages had the wrong, then they were at the hub,then they were lost, then the business I was having delivered to had never anything delivered there before. As our UPS man was walking in the door. Our UPS man had a sub the week before. I receive a message on fb from a medical center that my packages were fought at there dumpster behind the office. Whatever you do - Do Not Use this service. UPS used to be a great delivery service until a month ago. Now it does not exist. The driver leaves items in the mailbox and then postman can't put mail in the box. Or it is left on the ground along the driveway in the rain. We have a covered area by the garage and have always had the packages left there until all this started a month ago. Spouse and I have had to call, have 2 cases open with promises that someone would be calling. Over a week now on one case and no calls to date from the facility. A package was to be delivered Friday 8/14. The driver drove by our house, then logged message that it could not be delivered because no one was home. I work from home and the camera showed her driving past the house. Our front and rear door cameras did not show anyone coming to the door to try to deliver. I have called 3 times now and the answer is "we will contact the facility and have them call you". No calls as of yet from the facility. So called the customer service number again this morning and again was told that the facility will call you by 12 noon as to deliver. Lets see if it happens. I want to have a choice in who is the delivery service and at this time it will not be UPS. Make this delivery right and tell the truth and I will use UPS again. read more

Was told that to receive my package I would have to pick it up from this location. They said they would hold it for me until 5:00pm. When I arrived at 2:00 pm after driving 30 minutes they said it was locked in a trailer and they wouldn't unlock it until 2 days after Christmas. Thank you for spoiling my Christmas. read more
