There are a lot of independent restaurants and businesses in Bridgeville (along with some Big Box Chain Retailers within walking distance, Bridgeville is a very walkable community. Bridgeville has a lot of friendly residents (and some not so friendly). The police department is very professional, yet, maintains a sense of humor on social media. It is a nice place to visit, and a great place to live (affordable housing). There are three parks in Bridgeville (and one borders Wingfield Pines / Boyce Mayview Park along Chartiers Creek). There are volunteers to help you if you wish to research local people, and places. There is also an old railroad caboose connected to the building, which houses part of the collection. It is worth checking out, especially if you enjoy history. They are open Tuesday through Friday, 10am - 2 pm. NOTE: Disregard the review posted below. It sits majestically underneath the USC High School, greeting the teachers and students when they enter or exit the campus.
