Here in the "rust belt" of southwestern Pennsylvania, in Ambridge, PA, on the outskirts of…read morePittsburgh, is a gem of a community theater. Since 2016 this non-profit group of folks has been bringing some delightful productions to the community with some very talented thespians, directors, production crews, and artists of all kinds to put on a variety of outstanding productions.
My daughter has been in shows here and I had a distinct pleasure, on Father's day, of attending a most excellent production of "Harps and Harmonicas". She is currently looking to be in one or more productions here in the near future and I have been impressed with the people involved in this great little community theater both out front and behind the scenes. This season (202) has The Boys Next Door, The Mad Ones, Doubt: A Parable and Musical on tap so far this season.
Bottom line: They need more parking so if you don't arrive early you might be pressed to seek it out on the surrounding streets, the theater isn't huge but it's quaint and there are some really talented folks here with a lot of heart. Recommended!
