I had a bit of a flare up today. Vertigo. So, dizzy and pain in neck and shoulders. Luckily I live near a great chiropractor,an upper Cervical dr . This Dr uses high tech equipment that doesn't include manual adjustments. It's quick and gets the job done . The last adjustment I had was a year ago and I have had no complaints or pain for the entire time . Dr Randy Culig, is the guy you want to see if you're suffering with headaches Or vertigo or anything the involves your upper cervical area. He has a well run office, very clean and efficient. This review is based on the grand opening, and not their service. The Pierce Chiropractic Center has been open for about a week or two before the grand opening. It is located right behind the whiskey bird, behind the shopping complex. They had ample parking and while I parked on the street, because I was unsure where to park, I was pleased to know that I could park in front of the center. The office is brand new, built and designed by the doctors, Dr. Wireman and Dr. Culig. It seemed tiny, but was more spacious than it looks, not at all did I feel cramped even with so many people. They had a very upbeat pianist playing in the background to liven the mood. They had food catered from the Whiskey Bird and it was my first time having it. The food was very good. I had to get myself an extra serving of food because it was so delicious. They also had some adult beverages. They also had a raffle and one of their prizes I had my eyes on were the Kindles. :) The office is very nice. It looks like a museum, because it looked so bright. One thing I noticed when I was walking by was that one of the office had a glass window that you are able to peek inside. You are greeted at the front desk, They have two adjusting rooms, an xray room and a relaxing room. The adjusting room with the window belongs to Dr. Culig and the one near the xray room belongs to Dr. Wireman. The X-ray room is very specific and state of the art. Whenever you are done with the adjustment, you get to sit on their zero gravity chairs, which are all new and very comfortable. Overall, the doctors are very knowledgeable. The are more structurally based. They have so much technology in their office that they use to get exactly what your body needs. I like how research driven they are. They are even doing some case studies to provide the best care for their patients. I'm interested in seeing how much this practice will grow. Overall, I believe the office is located in a very nice location and that they are more than capable in delivering. read more

First of all, why is the office so dusty? Can the staff not at least keep the place clean? Secondly, why is there a dog in the office? I like dogs but I don't want one running around a doctor's office. The doctor is okay and knows what he's doing. Nothing more than any other good chiropractor. They are a little more expensive; I'm assuming because of the images. The dirty office completely put me off and will not be going back. read more

I have been seeing Dr Jill Driver. I am a very interesting case and she has been nothing but attentive and brilliant during the process of realigning years of misalignment. The staff (especially the greeter, make sure to meet Atlas) I really appreciate this practice, their ability to spend time with patients, follow up, and genuinely care. I met Dr. Randy Culig and Dr. Sam Wireman back in December before their new chiropractic practice opened. These two have recently wrapped up all their chiropractic schooling and have so much energy and excitement, and their passion for helping people is obvious. Their approach is very methodical, very calculated, and very careful. There is no spine cracking in this office. Precision is paramount, and the doctors take x-rays, check hip and foot levels, and measure a few other things to make sure they know exactly what your body needs. (There is so much care paid to precision, they have patients wear bowling shoes during visits to ensure the doctor can get an accurate view of the length of your feet!) X-rays (~$300) are taken after an initial (free) consultation and then the doctor will discuss with you whether they think they can help your issues are not. They are very aware of how every body is different, and they're not going to push their methods on someone they don't think they can do anything for. (I always appreciate this kind of integrity.) If the doctors recommend moving forward and you agree to visit for chiropractic adjustments, they'll set up a 3-month plan for you. For 3 months, you'll come in for adjustments as needed, they'll continue to evaluate your progress, and then they'll reassess after the 3 months to see if you should continue for another 3 months. During the 3-month period, all extra necessary x-rays and all visits are included in a one-time fee of $700-something. (I opted to pay by month instead for $200-something.) I really like the all-inclusive approach. I'm about 3-4 visits in. My very first visits took over an hour each, which I think is normal for the initial visits, but I also know that Dr. Randy and I talked a lot about my spine's issues. First visits included discussing my medical history and any issues I had with spinal stuff. (tingling, pain, habitual tenderness, loss of vision, numbness, etc.) Dr. Randy also took some measurements: * Checking the level of my hips * Checking the length of my legs * Checking the feel of the muscles on the side of my neck ^ These measurements are taken during *every* visit so the doctors are always assessing and adjusting their therapy as needed. Measurements are taken before spinal adjustment and after spinal adjustment. Dr. Randy and I agreed that we'd like to move forward with my treatment, so we decided to get my x-rays taken that day. Because of the precision needed, the x-rays took a long time to take. I'm sure that as the doctors become more practiced, these will take less time for future patients, but it's worth keeping in mind for new patients that your visits will have some slow spots. (This review is being written Feb 2018.) Dr. Randy pointed out a few things to me on the x-rays that day but then we discussed them at length during my second appointment, which is when I agreed to commit to the 3-months of therapy. I'm on a weekly visit rhythm, and each visit takes around 30 minutes now. Here's what the visits look like: * Arrive, greeted by Sydney the friendly receptionist who always asks if I'd like coffee or water, Sydney gives me bowling shoes to wear during the visit. (Little hosiery socks provided if needed.) * Taken into the office. Dr. Randy checks in on if I've noticed any changes since last visit and we chat about any new thoughts or exercises I should be doing. * Measurements are taken. * Spinal adjustment is done. This involves having the atlas bone at the top of the spine lightly pushed by an instrument. This part of the visit takes a long time because the doctor has to get the angle of my head in the perfect spot. * I walk down the hall a couple times to let my body "shake it out" a bit, then measurements are taken again. * I sit in the relaxation room where Zero Gravity chairs warm and relax my body, giving it time to settle into the adjustment, kick off bodily healing, and giving me time to have a break. The doctors always recommend this step, though they're also aware that sometimes schedules don't allow it. I've been impressed with how thorough Dr. Randy has been. He's reached out to another doctor with questions about my condition, he's recommended a massage therapist who'd be able to help me more, he's answered all of my questions, found exercised for me to do to strengthen my neck. It's obvious these guys take their work very seriously, and even though they're just getting started in their own office, they're very knowledgeable and conscientious about their work. Even though the team is smoothing out a few bumps that come with a brand new office (which is why considered going with 4 stars instead of 5), I'd recommend these guys to anyone curious about spinal health or who needs a chiropractor. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr.s Culig and Wireman. From the start, they have made me feel like they truly care for my well-being, and that they are extremely knowledgeable and confident about being able to help. They both walked me through the whats and whys of the things they were doing, and I felt very informed all along the way. The appointment began on time, with no waiting around, and ended feet up and head back in the most comfortable zero gravity relaxation chair I've ever had the pleasure of sitting in. The adjustment is painless and virtually undetected, save for a quick clicking noise. They use laser measurements to make sure it is targeted exactly where it should be, and they take the time to assure that all systems are a "go" before proceeding. I feel very safe in their care and I'm optimistic about the effectiveness of the treatment. And talk about bedside manner...I got a call from Dr. Culig on a Sunday, while he was on vacation, to check in on me and see how the adjustment made me feel. This was my first time using any chiropractic services and I have been thoroughly impressed. I saw Dr. Sam following sudden severe upper back pain (likely a pulled muscle). I have always been athletic and healthy, but after having two babies and sitting for work, my spine and muscles were stressed and out of balance. I appreciated the use of x-rays and objective measures for diagnosis and treatment. Both Sam and Randy have a solid scientific approach and an appreciation for learning and collaboration among other health professionals. In addition to being adjusted and massaged, I was given recommendations on changes to posture and sitting, and a variety of recommended exercises to help ensure my back stays healthy so I don't need to return repeatedly. My acute back pain improved within a few sessions and at the end of my 6 week treatment period my back (and body as a whole) feels infinitely better.
