Yoga and spin studio on first floor along with free weights. Spin class is world-class. Even better with view of outdoor lap pool. Great sound system. The high energy party music from spin class flows into the free weight room sometimes because it gets hotter than a swedish sauna in there. Invariably someone jams open the door during classes. Brony free weight users frown upon this this and close the spin class door which we then have to open again. Its the circle of life. Door open. Door close. Door open. Door close. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. ::: SECOND FLOOR ::: Second floor is cardio. Ample treadmills, stair steppers, etc. just lots of aerobic equipment including an female users only room as gawker prophylaxis. ::: THIRD FLOOR ::: Third floor is where the magic happens for me-- large fitness room with tremendous views of the mountains. Sign ups required for all fit classes during winter season. Can reserve a spot up to 24 hrs ahead. They will wait list prior to full classes-- a warm-up for Sundance, I suppose. Most notably for me Butts&Guts (and sometimes Buns&Guns). Put these names on the merch and I will bite-- just adore the fun, catchy, edgy names. Generically shorthand the classes as'BeeGees' for short. Which also perfectly captures the sentiment of pushing through the wall to keep doing 'burpies' and other variations on push-ups until you cannot breath anymore because all your classmates are encouraging each other: Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin', And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Exercising as part of a team collective mentality really allows you to push yourself without suffering-- you just zone out and keep working hard. It's a party hive mind with the queen bee instructor. Speaking of, the instructors here are all amazing-- many seem to be world-class athletes in their own right. Also on third floor- changing rooms with lockers and showers. Very clean and well-kept. Lots of people get ready there before leaving to divert fractions of pennies at Initech after they workout. Hand sanitizers and kleenex boxes scattered everywhere. There is also an executive membership with a private locker room area and a laundry service. Like many rooms of the original Apple IIe's Castle Wolfenstein, I have never made it past the lock code box on door so as to witness the splendor. It's VIPs eyes only. I can only presume that here VIP stands for Very Important Push-ups! Drop and give me twenty. No drinking fountain on third floor though. Wonderful excuse for more exercise as I jaunt down the staircase to guzzle my arid parch away! There is another staircase in the back that is out of way. So much I consider it hidden but not quite Platform Nine and Three-Quarters of the Potterverse. ::: THE BOSU ::: Favorite part of my most favorite class (Butts&Guts) is the Bosu. What is this Bosu you ask? Cue infomercial here: Bosu is marketed as a balance trainer but it is much, much more. Bosu is an alien UFO saucer disc thingy that is 26 inches in diameter and looks like a big blue egg yolk. The name 'Bosu' is an acronym: Both Sides Utilized. You stand on it and try to keep your balance while following instructor-led exercises as it keeps wobbling ever so slightly. This Bosu wobble is the special sauce-- an element of instability that creates an added layer of complexity and challenge during the exercises making it so much fun! One happy, buzzy glow with a side of Bosu wobble, please!

She was attentive to each of us (who had different levels or adjustments needed) and was constantly providing adjustments. It was a fulfilling hour-long class that made us want more (really! We wanted to see if we could squeeze it into our trip again on our remaining days) The space was clean and beautiful with heated floors and nice facilities. I…read morethought Lagree was for 25-year-old Instagram stars who drink matcha lattes--definitely not for me. When I first arrived at Peak 45, I was super intimidated--I won't lie, the Megaformer is no joke. But every single teacher was instantly warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive, even when I needed to be reminded for the 100th time how to do "Scrambled Eggs." I still have work to do in the speed of my transitions and occasionally need the stability pole, my body quickly and visibly changed in ways I had never experienced with any other workout. For decades I have worked out with trainers, lifted weights, and ran 10ks--nothing has ever gotten me as fit as Lagree. I literally feel the strongest I ever have, which is saying something at my age. What I absolutely didn't expect, coming from the often silent world of Pilates, was how incredibly friendly the members are. It feels like a real community where we're all authentically rooting for each other. High-fives and celebration of each other's "shakes" are not uncommon. In my previous Pilates classes, it always felt like being in a middle school library where no one talked to each other. The teachers at Peak 45 are super motivating and create classes that are always fun and simultaneously super challenging. As I said, all the teachers are genuinely friendly,they'll know your name after your first class, celebrate your successes, and encourage you to do more than you thought possible. This studio is well-kept and quite large. They are conveniently located in Kimball Junction, which…read moremeans it's easy to get to and has plenty of parking. The number of stations is higher than some other OTF studios, which means they can take more students per class. This is good if you are on the waitlist, as there is a higher chance to get in a class. However, I do find that the coach can get stretched more thin and has less time to spend on each student and if your form is off, you might not get corrected. One thing I like is that it is at a higher elevation than the studios down in the valley, and so I get even more of a workout here. I cannot run quite as fast as I can in SLC, but that is okay. It's actually quite nice to take classes up here a few times a month to get that extra bit of training in. The staff here are nice and so are the coaches. I would definitely be aware of peak timeframes, as Park City is a tourist town during parts of the year and the waitlists can be very long from folks traveling from out of state. Overall, I love Orangetheory and this studio is no exception!

SMART FIT PARK CITY…read more I want to take a moment to give a very special thanks to the trainers and management at Smart Fit Method in Park City. Back in September, I had shoulder surgery and was sidelined for about 6 months. I started going to Smart Fit after I saw the amazing results my wife was getting from her workouts at Smart Fit. I knew I wanted to get started only after I got the clearance from my doctors. I began this short journey in February 2026 and I am by no means at the end. As a matter of fact, I am just getting started in my new chapter of my health journey and I have the entire team and family of Smart Fit to thank. The entire staff has been encouraging and supportive every step of the way. The team recognizes hard work and effort. They also recognize when I might not be at 100% because let's face it, life gets in the way sometimes. I was struggling with just getting started. We all want to see results ASAP but sometimes you just need to trust the process. "Trust the process" I think this was the biggest struggle... it became much more mental rather than physical. From a physical standpoint I KNEW I would be able to try my best. From a mental standpoint, I knew my struggles would be more difficult. I just needed to "trust the process" I want to make sure all the coaches are recognized. I feel as though everyone has been contributing to my success. Mina, TJ, Jake Michaela, the guys on the weekends!! In particular, I have been working on a nutrition program with Jake at Smart Fit. Jake and I sat down and figured out a simple yet effective nutrition and diet program that would complement all my efforts at Smart Fit. Not only has Jake helped create the program best suited for me. He has also found subtle ways to hold me accountable as well as know how to let me know in assertive ways what he thinks is best for me and my nutritional journey. If I told him, "ahhh Jake I did not hit my daily goal yesterday on my macro and micro intakes". He would say, "that's ok man... let's just make sure we get back on track today" The way it's said, and the authentic tone in his voice, you realize... it's not the end of the world. He knows what you are going through and he wants to see you succeed. The encouragement and the sense of accountability together is what makes the journey so special. Forever grateful to the entire team! I started this journey in February 2026 at 206lbs. I am now at 192lbs in May 2026. My goal is 180lbs. It's NOT about the number on the scale. It's about how I FEEL when I am putting on a pair of jeans that three months ago I could not fit into and now they are too big. It's about how I feel when I am playing on a pickleball court and I am able to get to shots I could not get to before, due to the work Jake and the rest of the Smart Fit team put into MY well-being.
