I don't even know where to begin. Salt Pilates is magical. It's the most beautiful studio I've even been in and it has the most advanced equipment. The owner Rebekah is phenomenal and so are all of her instructors. Salt emphasizes form, which is critical in Pilates. I love that the instructors have their eyes on everyone and they will call out reminders if they something that should be corrected. They do not call out individuals, instead they remind you of the correct form during the move. I've been going consistently for the past 6 weeks and can definitely notice my strength has GREATLY improved. Salt offers a variety of classes from beginner to advanced throughout the day and I've never had an issue getting in. Try it, you'll love it! I'm addicted! read more

Salt Pilates is my most favorite pilates studio in the world! I tried my first reformer class ever here a year ago when they had just opened, and I come back every time I'm in Park City/ Deer valley. There's ample parking in the Redstone lot, and it's easy to find. The studio is BEAUTIFUL, it's a Himalayan salt infused studio, with 10 salt walls behind al ten reformers / towers. The benefits of the Himalayan salt are amazing, it calms and centers me every time I walk into the beautiful studio. There are globe lights strung across the celeing for gentle lighting, with a selection of retail against one wall with super cute long sleeved shirts and Salt Pilates water bottles! Now enough with the decor, onto the workout! Rebekah the owner is an amazing teacher, I've only taken reformer classes from her which are fast paced but beginner friendly, which worked my core and legs as much as a ski workout does! She incorporates props such as the ball and magic circle for an extra challenge along with modifications for beginners. Amazing workout and experience all around. I look forward to visiting Salt every time I'm in Utah and feel my mind and body calmed and healthier every time I leave Salt. read more

Had a massage and sat in the salt cave for an hour. The massage was awesome (Glen). I'd never sat in a salt cave before and wasn't sure how it would feel. It was interesting and my sinuses (always a little wonky) felt great after so I'll definitely try it again. My wife also had a massage and did a Pilates class. What a gem this place is!! I started my day in a Pilates class with Kyle. I loved the pace of the class, the corrections she made, the ambiance of the studio and the friendliness of all of the staff and owners! I then spent the afternoon with a facial and a massage followed by the Halo room. Kim did such a relaxing facial and the products were fantastic. A day later, I am still loving the glow! Glenn may have been the best masseuse I have ever hand. He focused on just the right places and was super strong and knowledgeable. He even gave me recommendations for what to do after to care for the more tense places he found. I ended my afternoon relaxing in the Halo room. What a relaxing day filled with mindfulness, relaxation ambiance and exercise. I look forward to coming back to try the yoga in the Halo room next time!! I started with a massage and then did a session in the salt room in a zero gravity chair. My masseur was exceptionally skilled finding what needed the most attention and applying enough pressure to get benefit but not so much I wanted to squirm. My masseur also had feedback on the condition of my body and ongoing maintenance I might want to consider. I really appreciated this. Had a amazing reformer class with Nicole today. It's been years since I've got on one of these. @saltmethod has the most gorgeous pilates room and the entire studio is just incredible... down to the furry rugs in the bathrooms. I'd you live or are coming to Park City I highly recommend a class and or just chilling in the salt room. The benefits of salt therapy, or halotherapy, is a holistic, drug free, natural therapy using micro particles of salt to promote better breathing, healthier skin, sounder sleep, improved physical fitness and endurance and overall wellness. Dry salt therapy also helps to alleviate symptoms of many respiratory and skin conditions. Since my first visit I've slept better than my baby each night. I've got to think it's because of the healing principles @saltmethod provides. I'll be back! read more

Great place -- we tried to go in for post-skiing yoga, but got stuck in traffic and were invited to join the mat Pilates class instead. It was a pretty vigorous class, but without overdoing it. If anyone knows why the instructor (Bradee) is not teaching at a posh Manhatton gym yet, let me know. Will be back when we come back for more skiing! read more

I had an amazing experience here, especially not knowing how to calibrate myself. I took the "all levels" with Rebecca. The class is taught at an advanced level and adjustments are made based on your ability. She definitely gave me the challenge I was looking for--a great pre-ski muscle tune-up. The surroundings are beautiful and give exposed brick a whole new meaning! Loved it here and will be back when I visit PC again! read more

A peaceful and zen experience to get a great workout and wind-down and relax. I have taken classes with Dina and get my butt kicked every time. You know that sore feeling from using muscles that haven't been used in a while, yup, I get that every time! The studio is beautiful with salt rocks built into the walls, new equipment, and very clean. The classes are perfect for beginners and advanced. The instruction is very easy to understand and can be modified for beginners are made harder for more advanced students. Then after your workout, a sit in the salt room is a must! The walls are lined with salt rocks, and there are machines that fill the room with very fine salt. The treatment is around 50 minutes. Sounds like a long time to sit there, but trust me, you will be so relaxed that the time goes by quick. Grab a blanket in case you get cold, otherwise, expose your legs and arms so you can get the full treatment of the salt on your body! I was experiencing severe allergies with a dry throat that would not go away. I wasn't sure if the salt would help or make it worse. I went three times within a few days and my cough and allergy symptoms went completely away! How often you can go is different for everyone, so listen to you body and how you feel afterwards. If you have allergies, this room is a must to help keep it at bay. I also had a reflexology appointment with Wendy that took place in the salt room and that was extremely therapeutic. Wendy uses essential oils and very thoroughly explains the pressure points and goes over anything you want to cover. It was amazing how certain areas that were tender were directly related to health issues that I know I have. I felt so relaxed and like I was floating around after my appointment with Wendy! They also offer spa treatment like massages and facials and have private rooms with the salt filtering the air like the salt room. I can't wait to go back and try this next! read more

I was not impressed by this Pilates studio. I was visiting from out of town and called prior to arriving and was instructed to go on line and sign up, which I did. I received no particular greeting upon arrival except to fill out a liability waiver, the instructor gave no individual guidance or corrections. A month ago I stumbled upon the Salt Method and tried a Pilates class. The staff gave me a tour of the facility and it's beautiful. Plush and clean and inviting. The class was taught by Kyle and it was great. Today I took another class with Rebekka and it was also great. Challenging, and low impact. Right what my body was asking for. The instructors are kind and knowledgeable and friendly. Sometimes funny. I decided to also try a massage. Glen was my therapist and the massage was amazing. Clean and comfortable massage rooms. Quiet too. my muscles feel restored. I love this new business. If you haven't already, give it a try. Even if your a newbie. They will make you want to come back for more. I do! read more

A luxurious start to the New Year as I enjoyed a wonderful facial at the Salt Method with Susan. Clearly Susan has many years of experience and a massage therapy background. I was very pleased with the facial, accompanying massage work and the all natural product line was soothing to my very dry and wind chapped skin! The space is perfection and I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxing I found the Halotherapy! It was beyond inviting.
