Excellent food. Very nice owners who appear to treat their customers and employees well. I love their brisket and potato salad

My work had this place catered for us for an employee appreciation day. We had the brisket, the turkey beans and a big chicken leg. I sampled a little bit of everything. It was delicious. I do plan on going back one day here soon, but I would definitely highly recommend this place if you're gonna get it catered and if you love barbecue, this place is perfect read more

Food is spectacular fresh and hot Make great recommendations. Greens are good meat is good read more

I went again on a rainy afternoon felt like the perfect weather for something warm and smoky the place was cozy inside lights dim and the smell of BBQ filled the air ordered ribs without thinking just wanted that familiar taste again read more

Excellent! Would hire again for sure. Food tasted great, moist with lots of flavor and lots of it. Right on time as well.

We had this for our Christmas party. Not really impressed. Meat tasted bland on the pulled pork. The brisket was a little raw....now on the other hand the mac n cheese was awesome. To be fair I asked people at random at our party n the majority agreed with my opinion. Try for yourself to make your mind up. We eat first with our Eyes n Smell plays a great part. read more

Up in smoke real pit bbq catered my daughter's wedding last weekend. Yes during Covid! Everything was spot on and protocols were followed. They had everything hit and ready on time. It was a beautiful presentation and the food was delicious. We had a more formal affair and Rich was extremely accomodating with our requests. Everyone commented on how awesome the food was. #upinsmokebbq read more

Most every year Up-N-Smoke provides dinner for hundreds of people at the Arizona Flying Circus, a fly-in out in the middle of the desert. Dirt roads, no services, low flying aircraft, shooting, fireworks, explosions, chaos, nothing fazes them. They bring their giant smoker and equipment and set-up and tear-down with military precision. This is some of the best BBQ you will ever have in Arizona! read more

Just attended a vow renewal and Up N Smoke was excellent!!!! I hate coleslaw but the raspberry vinegarette was excellent and I ate my weight in the stuff - I'm craving it tonight!!!!!! I brought these guys out for my company's BBQ today - and I cannot say enough great things about the the event and everything surrounding it. Food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! We chose the 2 meats/2 sides option - so good!! Pork and brisket were awesome and the mac n cheese was great too. What was surprising was the coleslaw... I've never had such yummy coleslaw in my life! Rich and his team were timely, efficient, friendly and fun! They also have a great looking setup and the bbq pit is so cool. I highly recommend these guys for your next corporate (or any) catering event. :) read more

I can't say thank you enough. These guys will work their a$# off to make your event a success. We had 3 shifts and they feed everyone. Not a single compliant. Everyone had nothing but good things to say about how great the food was. Many of our management team just came back from training in Texas and back East, and they dine at some really good BBQ spots, but none of those could compare to what they just had. I promise if you book these guys for your next event, you won't be disappointed. People should celebrate more often, so they could enjoy great BBQ! I know we will be asking them to come back. read more

I found Up n Smoke BBQ randomly looking for new options for my corporate events. Impressed right from the start as I was invited to a tasting. I should preface that I'm not a BBQ fan, at least I was not until then. The brisket was so tender and delicious. The sides all had stand out features from the ordinary. You've never had slaw so good. The mac n cheese is also impressive. Staples when I order. (And now they have a new side - if you know elotes you will fall in love. So good!) That was 2016. It did not take long for Up n Smoke to become the go-to for many of my events. They do an elevated set up for BBQ, the crew is always so nice and accommodating, always plenty and on time. My groups love it. I now get asked to 'get them again' regularly. Makes my world easy - I know things will go well. Working with Rich the owner has been great over the years. I appreciate the ease and flexibility. Definitely doing BBQ right. read more

One word... AMAZING!!! Best green chili Mac n Cheese ever to hit these taste buds! They put a chipotle bread crust on top that is the bomb. Meat wise... go with the brisket. It's tender and has lots of flavor. The guy at the carving station had some burnt ends that were good. Yummy yumm!! read more

We had the brisket, ribs, and turkey at a wedding. Best brisket I've ever had. Hands down. Delicious.

We used Up N Smoke for a corporate luncheon and it was AMAZING! People are still talking about it! From the first email to the end Rich was professional and beyond efficient. We enjoyed the brisket, chicken, green chili macaroni and cheese, baked beans and coleslaw. Every bite was delicious, and we hope to be able to have them back for future events. THANK YOU Rich and Angelo!!!! read more

We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing this amazing BBQ at our friends wedding last night! Holy hell was it delicious. My honey and I woke up this morning craving more, including the insanely delicious Mac n cheese!! Rich and his assistants were so nice and friendly. The food was to die for and we made sure to get their card for our future parties! An added bonus was when the bride told us she chose them because of what she had heard and best of all, they donate any leftover food to a local shelter. Perfection. Support this business, people. Had them come out for a company lunch during a 3rd shift (1am-3am). Amazing food. All the team members loved the spread; coleslaw, baked potatoes, Mac n Cheese, baked beans, pulled pork, and a tender brisket. Amazing people and amazing food. Would recommend for any catering needs. read more

I've know Rich personally, professionally and militarily for nearly 20 years. I trusted him with my life in the military and having nothing but the most respect for him now. His dedication to his craft presents itself with your first bite. It doesn't matter what you're chowin' on, you will not be disappointed. PERIOD! He has catered two work events and my wedding. Never late, never disappointing and I have never passed on any leftovers. read more

My husband and I hired Rich to cater our reception and have zero regrets. From the very first interaction, he was quick to respond and up front and clear about his pricing and what he could offer us. After contacting so many businesses in the industry and waiting days to get a response or sometimes never hearing back, this was so refreshing. We were able to meet up with him to sample some of his food and it was GOOD. The night of our party, the food was even more delicious! Rich and his guys were there on time, already preparing everything, getting it all set up, making the night stress-free for us. The pulled pork and brisket were so fresh, tender and flavorful and all the sides were amazing as well. We had guests going up for seconds, it was that good. Rich brought along some guys to help us out with clean up since our venue was all DIY and we really appreciated that too. They were friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to hire Up N Smoke again and hope we have another excuse to get them out to cater a party for us! Thank you, Rich! read more

Up N Smoke catered to my husbands celebration service. It was fabulous! I highly recommend this catering business. Everyone raved about it. Very professional too! Love, love, loved it! read more

Today was our annual Christmas party and I was very excited once I found out who was catering. We have had them for other events and absolutely loved their coleslaw. Our company had the brisket as pulled pork which was absolutely amazing and of course the coleslaw and beans. I welt thought the line and because I loved the coleslaw so much I got extra. As I began to eat I was focused on the coleslaw over anything else.about 1/4 of the way through I bit on something hard. At first I was like it must be a bone and then thought it can't be because I haven't even touched the meat yet. As I went to bite again I realized that it was metal. I pulled the object from my mouth and immediately seen that it resembled a blade of some sort. I showed the others at my table and at their suggestion I made the caterers on sight aware. He was very nonchalant about it. Not offering an apology just dismissing it and letting me know that it was not a blade but informed us that it was from the chopper for the tomatoe. To me still a utensile that has an edge and can cause damage. The item was at least 1.5 inches in length. At the very least I feel like some concern could have gone a long way. read more

Our company brings in food quite often. I have to say that in the past 8 years I haven't had anything as good as the BBQ from UP N Smoke! Everything was great, including the mac-n-cheese which I typically don't eat. read more

We just had them cater our wedding this past Saturday and all i can say is DAMN! The food was amazing everyone that attended including myself are all dreaming about that mac n cheese and roasted pig. They were super efficient and clean. My husband requested a piece of cheek meat they obliged. The food was well seasoned warm and so professional. I highly recommend them for any party or get together. They exceeded my expectations by far. read more

Amazing BBQ! We had it catered for a work lunch and you could smell the smoky aroma through the entire office. The meats were pulled pork and carved beef brisket with green chili mac and cheese and pit smoked beans. All were excellent! My favorite was the brisket. The BBQ sauce was thick and flavorful. When the office was done with lunch there was no meat left-I'm saying this because it was so good people kept coming back for more not because of the amount that was provided! If you were thinking of having Up in Smoke Pit BBQ cater your next event I say go for it. read more

My husband and I hired Up N Smoke for our wedding reception. They had catered my husbands work and before he even proposed he said that we should have Up N Smoke cater our wedding when that time came. SO when we were planning I made sure to hire them. I personally never tried it but I trusted my husbands tastes buds and I couldn't have been happier that we went with them. Rich was so fast to respond and to answer my questions. He was even willing to work with us around the timing of our ceremony and setting up the buffet, so we wouldn't be hearing clinging and clattering while we were saying our vows. Once everyone was served, Rich and his crew put all the left overs in tin pans and had everything cleaned up in a blink of an eye! All night I was hearing about how good the food was from all our guest, and I myself have been loving having the left overs to eat and enjoy for the last few days! I almost want to find another event soon to have to order different food from them so I can try out their whole menu!!! If you want great BBQ food, and have an amazing costumer service experience go with Rich and Up N Smoke!! read more
