They pick you up at your door and drive you home so you're able to just sit back and relax without the worry of driving. It is reasonably priced as well! I think my favourite will always be the classic Sumac Ridge. But we did try an organic winery as well called Sage Hills which was great too! I went to a wedding here - it took place along the lake behind the row of cabins and was a nice,…read morelow key wedding. Guests were able to camp, use their RVs, or rent cabins. Many of us rented about 7 cabins all next to each other, and it was like a block party where all your friend live together. The staff here is really nice and they're very personable and chill. But they're a bit lacking on things like trail maps and other guest amenities. Their one canoe was out of commission, and they only had two single kayaks for rent. They didn't know too much about hiking in the area either - turns out there is a trail that kind of loops around. Not a huge deal, but this definitely seems more like a place you come fully prepared (most people had their own boats, water equipment, etc.). There is free Wi-Fi in and around the office. None in the cabins. The cabins all have a beautiful lake view and are great. They have pots and pans, but don't have anything like cooking oil, tin foil, salt & pepper, etc. You need to bring all that on your own. Ours did have one bag of marshmallows (randomly). Our cabin (#39) had a really nice back that ended up being a communal hang out space for a lot of wedding guests. You do also have to bring your own bedding or rent it for $20. We did that and had a bed bug scare (my boyfriend got 3 bites in a line on his back on Saturday night, and the on his neck on Sunday night). No one else experienced anything like this. We got home and systematically boiled everything in our luggage and our apartment wasn't infested.

We had a neighbor whose very large Shepard wandered around off leash but that wasn't the only dog that was off leash. Dog crap everywhere. When complaints where made nothing was done. Neighbor had a generator (even though there is power) and ran it at 5:30 am. Videos and pictures where sent to the board of directors. The neighbor parked in our lot by our cabin in front of our window and beside our fire pit. The curtains didn't close so I'm sure they got a good look at some point. Again nothing was done. We where renting a cabin for multiple months and paid in advance. The cabin was full of graffiti. It was supposed to be peaceful, quite and off grid. It was stressful and we couldn't use it. This could of been avoided if the rules had been enforced or there was a little investment.

I found the parking lot a little difficult to navigate - I swear it felt like an eternity walking to our rental car. Washrooms were always clean. Staff were friendly everywhere we went. And the turn around for baggage, quick! WhiteSpot inside was perfect for a preflight drink or bite to eat. I didn't realize there were two inside and I think next time I'd prefer the one inside the departure area so as to not stress over getting through security. Though the BIG glass floor to ceiling windows were a beauty! Two thumbs up Kelowna, two thumbs up :-)

Kinda weird arrival. I like that the baggage claim area is small. They have a couple restaurants (including a Tim Horton) and a rental car desk and then check in is just around the corner. Walking to the rental car pick up wasn't too bad, and the rental car people were surprisingly nice. Welcome to Canada I guess. When it's dark, it's a little hard to see the rental car sign that tells you where to drive to drop off rental cars. The process of parking in the right stall and dropping off the key was easy enough. Air Canada check in should have been easy, but for some reason, our United booking didn't match up to the AC booking, but that's a different story. On our flight out of Kelowna, I was surprised to see that there are like 8 "gates" with 2 ish seating areas. I can see how it can get congested easily if there are multiple flights. We happened to be on the first flight out for the day so security and the waiting area weren't too crowded yet. We got to the airport at 4am for our 6am flight. None of the stores or eateries open until 4:30, so there was a long line for food and coffee at 4:40.

When the owner called upon my request I brought up that I was dissatisfied with our communication that we have had so far, and the lack of response in finding a potential room to stay in. This conversation ended with him swearing at me and calling me a "bitch". Please note that I did not behave in a manner to warrant this kind of abuse and that I did not swear throughout all of our conversations. I believe this is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior and based on this response I would not recommend this location to anyone. I will not be staying at this B and B in the future.

Borgata's staff where very helpful and kept to the COVID 19 guidelines. August 6th to the 10th 2020. They planned to go there again when they visit Kelowna so will I when its safe to leave my place.

The wineries had fantastic tastings, very welcoming and beautiful. We were on a schedule to ensure we could get to all 4 wineries and out for lunch, but never felt rushed. What really made the day (other than 10 friends getting together) was our fabulous driver, Lee. He has a great way with his passengers and wants everyone to have the best experience.
