They are buttoning up for winter so most of the water related activities are unavailable. The outdoor pools are drained and all the out four furniture is stored. No matter. We came here to relax and that is what we are doing. We have a nice space to spread out in. There's a restaurant and bar in the lobby and it looks as if this place hosts gatherings through the year. The property is clean and we have no qualms with the cleanliness of our suite. We have a nice view from the third floor. I can't speak to the cost of staying here but we got the reduced "winter rate". We spend out anniversaries somewhere up here in The Great White North every year. Cheers!

My room had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains where I sat in my bath and revelled in the peaceful scenery before me. The KurSpa was originally my reason for going as it's got to be one of the best spas in the whole country! There's a rose steam room, the aforementioned crystal one and even an ice room. This is truly relaxation at its finest. Even though the pool is high up this infinity dream still melds itself with the lake below and you feel two waters are one. THE BATHROOM WAS BROKEN AND THE SPA WAS A LIE…read more Listen. I am tired. You are tired. We are all exhausted from existing in late-stage capitalism, and sometimes you just need to throw an obscene amount of money at a hotel to sit in hot water and pretend everything is fine. I WENT TO SPARKLING HILL AND EVERYTHING IS NOT FINE. If I am paying hundreds of dollars a night, the absolute bare minimum requirement is that I can use the bathroom. The toilet didn't work. Do you know how demeaning it is to be in a fancy crystal hotel and you can't flush? It's 2024. We have sent billionaires to space, but we cannot get working plumbing in Kelowna. The entire experience was a masterclass in gaslighting. The "spa"--the whole reason you go there--had zero ambiance. It felt like a community rec center pool that smells faintly of chlorine and regret. And the amenities? TRASHED. The shower head was stuck pointing at the wall at five feet high. I'm not five feet tall. I had to hug the wall to get wet. It was humbling, and not in a good way. The service was actively hostile to joy. Our friend tried to send us champagne--a lovely gesture!--and the staff turned it into a logistical nightmare, claiming it was too late at night, and then too close to checkout in the morning. THEY JUST DIDN'T WANT US TO HAVE THE CHAMPAGNE. But the real kicker, the thing that truly enrages me, is the bait-and-switch. We paid. We traveled. We checked out. AND THEN they told us we couldn't use the pool anymore. They didn't mention this policy *once* until they had our money and our room keys. We travelled all that way to use a spa, paid for the privilege, and then were physically barred from entering the water. Also, the saunas don't open until 2 PM. Why? Are the steam elves sleeping in? And I swear to god the restaurant staff was wearing machine gun tie clips. READ THE ROOM. This place is a shiny trap. Save your money and buy an inflatable pool for your backyard. At least the toilet inside your house works.

After learning it was my birthday, they brought up a thoughtful wee gift, which was so kind! And random staff members called out birthday greetings as we came and went. Our room was immaculately clean, and even though our balcony faced the busy street, we barely heard the traffic. We had a jetted tub in our room, and it did take a while to fill, but it was amazing to soak before bed. And again, it was absolutely spotless. We had breakfast in the restaurant, which was incredible, and once again, the staff were outstanding. Delicious food and fantastic staff, we will definitely be back to stay and to eat!

I got a 2 bedroom which was super spacious. 3 beds (king, queen and twin), 2 full bathrooms, gas fireplace in living room, full kitchen and laundry room. 3 large TV's and a nice view of the lake. Top floor has a gym, indoor hot tub and outdoor infinity pool. There is indoor private parking with fee. Fee was waved because I booked through The Registry Collection. I'm environmentally conscious wherever I go and wish they had better recycling implement. There is a tiny recycle bin within the room and a garbage room on each floor. I sorted all the returnables, plastics, paper and metals. Hopefully it gets recycled properly by the hotel. The internet worked fine but the tv also used it with Telus Optik TV. It would cut out every 10 min and not restart for 2-3 minutes. To instantly make it work again, I had to switch channels back and forth. Got really annoying. The interior is a bit on the dark side, lighter colours would have been nicer.

Great... when we walked into the room, it was clear it wasn't an upgrade. Old carpeted floors, two small beds in separate rooms (not what we wanted) and an old kitchen that didn't even have a proper coffee brewer (think a $10 walmart pot brewer...). We called down and asked if we could forgo our "upgrade" and just have the room we booked... we were then told our original room had a leak and was unavailable. Okay, so not really an upgrade but our room was not available and you had to move us to what was clearly a worse room... but called it an upgrade to avoid needing to compensate in any way. The bathroom floor was covered in hair... I wet a kleenex to wipe some up, and the kleenex came back black. Really gross, we ended up laying towels on the floor so we could comfortably have bare feet in there. The tv was on the writing desk, blocking the one mirror and also being blocked itself by the chair... The linens on the beds were awful. I'm not a "thread count connoisseur" and I don't think I've ever even noticed the sheets in any hotel, but these were so rough, it was like sleeping on no-name brand paper towels. Luckily (?) we booked through hotels.com which has great customer service. They were able to cancel our last night and get it refunded, and we moved to the Coast Capri hotel down the street. Maybe the Inn & Suites rooms that are reno'd are nicer? No idea since we got stuck in our "upgrade" suite.

We booked double queen loft suite via the choice website. The room also had a sofa bed. For our family of four it was the perfect size with space for everyone. It would have been nice if the loft had an additional bathroom as we had experienced in other hotels - but not a deal breaker. Our room was motel style so our entrance was from outside although I saw some rooms were hotel style (enter from a hallway). Every day we got ice for our coolers and they were in convenient locations - across from our room and beside the lobby. The hotel has a pool and hot tub which we went to once and it was pretty good. The hotel also has a fitness center but we did not use it. The breakfast was fairly basic with options for cereal, bread and bagels, ham and cheese, yogurt, apples, and boiled eggs. To drink you can get coffee, milk, apple and orange juices, and there was hot chocolate powder and tea bags as well. There also was a water dispenser which was convenient to fill all our water bottles for the day. The coffee in the lobby was better (keurig) so my wife got coffee from there every morning. During our stay we decided not to get cleaning services and every few days we left our towels and garbage out to be collected and went to the lobby to get new towels, soap, and bags. We ran out of toothpaste on the 2nd last day so was able to get some from the hotel. Our stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean. Breakfast had enough items for everyone and beats trying to find and buy breakfast. Pool and Fitness Centre are nice to have although they are situated away from some of the rooms. We enjoyed our stay and we almost always choose Choice Hotels where ever we go.
