Many of us rented about 7 cabins all next to each other, and it was like a block party where all your friend live together. The staff here is really nice and they're very personable and chill. But they're a bit lacking on things like trail maps and other guest amenities. Their one canoe was out of commission, and they only had two single kayaks for rent. They didn't know too much about hiking in the area either - turns out there is a trail that kind of loops around. Not a huge deal, but this definitely seems more like a place you come fully prepared (most people had their own boats, water equipment, etc.). There is free Wi-Fi in and around the office. None in the cabins. The cabins all have a beautiful lake view and are great. They have pots and pans, but don't have anything like cooking oil, tin foil, salt & pepper, etc. You need to bring all that on your own. Ours did have one bag of marshmallows (randomly). Our cabin (#39) had a really nice back that ended up being a communal hang out space for a lot of wedding guests. You do also have to bring your own bedding or rent it for $20. We did that and had a bed bug scare (my boyfriend got 3 bites in a line on his back on Saturday night, and the on his neck on Sunday night). No one else experienced anything like this. We got home and systematically boiled everything in our luggage and our apartment wasn't infested.

We had a neighbor whose very large Shepard wandered around off leash but that wasn't the only dog that was off leash. Dog crap everywhere. When complaints where made nothing was done. Neighbor had a generator (even though there is power) and ran it at 5:30 am. Videos and pictures where sent to the board of directors. The neighbor parked in our lot by our cabin in front of our window and beside our fire pit. The curtains didn't close so I'm sure they got a good look at some point. Again nothing was done. We where renting a cabin for multiple months and paid in advance. The cabin was full of graffiti. It was supposed to be peaceful, quite and off grid. It was stressful and we couldn't use it. This could of been avoided if the rules had been enforced or there was a little investment.

PeakFine restaurant has beautifully plated delicious food and makes Sparkling Hill nearly identical to a luxurious all inclusive resort. A resort that helps you slow down and reconnect with yourself through the most luxurious form of relaxation. Go for a romantic getaway, a solo recharge, or for any reason really because it's the kind of atmosphere that everyone should experience.

We are all exhausted from existing in late-stage capitalism, and sometimes you just need to throw an obscene amount of money at a hotel to sit in hot water and pretend everything is fine. I WENT TO SPARKLING HILL AND EVERYTHING IS NOT FINE. If I am paying hundreds of dollars a night, the absolute bare minimum requirement is that I can use the bathroom. The toilet didn't work. Do you know how demeaning it is to be in a fancy crystal hotel and you can't flush? It's 2024. We have sent billionaires to space, but we cannot get working plumbing in Kelowna. The entire experience was a masterclass in gaslighting. The "spa"--the whole reason you go there--had zero ambiance. It felt like a community rec center pool that smells faintly of chlorine and regret. And the amenities? TRASHED. The shower head was stuck pointing at the wall at five feet high. I'm not five feet tall. I had to hug the wall to get wet. It was humbling, and not in a good way. The service was actively hostile to joy. Our friend tried to send us champagne--a lovely gesture!--and the staff turned it into a logistical nightmare, claiming it was too late at night, and then too close to checkout in the morning. THEY JUST DIDN'T WANT US TO HAVE THE CHAMPAGNE. But the real kicker, the thing that truly enrages me, is the bait-and-switch. We paid. We traveled. We checked out. AND THEN they told us we couldn't use the pool anymore. They didn't mention this policy *once* until they had our money and our room keys. We travelled all that way to use a spa, paid for the privilege, and then were physically barred from entering the water. Also, the saunas don't open until 2 PM. Why? Are the steam elves sleeping in? And I swear to god the restaurant staff was wearing machine gun tie clips. READ THE ROOM. This place is a shiny trap. Save your money and buy an inflatable pool for your backyard. At least the toilet inside your house works.

The campground has a beautiful view of the hills across the lake (beautiful sunsets). The lake is calm and warm most days. The look out point has a bench where you can sit and take in the spectacular view of the lake. So beautiful. Unfortunately the dry weather and previous fires have left its mark. You can still see burnt trees. On the trail there are Saskatoon berries too. Spider webs and other wildlife. We were lucky not to encounter any rattlesnake along the way. My friend has seen the snakes here before. It's also a good thing there is a signboard at the parking lot cautioning people about rattlesnake season.

The bright porch light from the outdoor doorway, which cannot be turned off at night by guests, is directly outside the bedroom. Even with all of the blinds fully closed, it is still bright in the bedroom. There is a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Although it is a non-smoking room, I am suspecting that guests would smoke at the porch outside the room, particularly in winter. The smoke would then get into the room as a result. A few other things that may or may not be present in other hotels, such is noisy air conditioner and fridge. Otherwise, the room we got was spacious and clean. Staff was courteous.

Ideal RV park. Close to Beach…read more Wifi Had full amenities. One of the few campgrounds that have cable hook ups for tv. Great as no tents or tent trailers so quiet and clean well manicured. Beach 2 blocks walking distance. Less then 5 minute walk. General store and take out burger place at other end of beach. We have a class A therefore all hook ups and had a pleasant week. So hot the week we stayed but beach was perfect to just walk down with family.
