SO HAPPY & Grateful!…read more We love Michelle and her team! Our wedding ceremony went so smoothly and was beautifully done. It was so nice to work with everyone and was impressed how everything turned out. The ability to customize and organize the material ahead of time was a huge plus and gave me the reassurance I needed as a Bride. Justice Lydon & Co made our wedding day more special and am forever thankful!

It's been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how loved and supported I felt on…read morethe best day of my life. Michelle played such a major role in that. Everyone was asking us who are officiant was, and whether she was one of our aunts, because she came off like family so naturally. She made our ceremony seamless, personal, and funny. Scheduling the officiant was admittedly one of the more stressful parts of the planning. We were not doing it in a church, nor was there someone that both my husband and I were equally close to who we thought should play the role, so I worried about finding someone I did not know. But within the first phone call with Michelle, it felt like I had known her for years. She is warm, kind, supportive, and professional, and any couple would be lucky to have her. Thank you for everything Michelle!!

How do I even begin to write a review for Paula Marrero and her wonderful staff, of Marrero Wedding…read moreand Events? In a word, Paula was a lifesaver. She not only managed virtually every logistical aspect of the event, but she helped hugely in navigating the emotional and psychological rollercoaster surrounding the planning of a wedding, and exponentially reduced the overall stress level. Paula is also one of the hardest working, and most professional people I've ever done business with. She was chief advocate, coordinator, negotiator, friend, and shrink all rolled into one! One doesn't fully grasp the magnitude of the multi-faceted coordination and attention to detail involved in planning a successful wedding, until you're in it. We were so grateful to have had Paula's years of knowledge and expertise guiding us, especially since there are no do-overs with a wedding! Plus, she knows just about everything there is to know about finding the best vendors that match one's style and budget. Every one she had us work with was perfectly suited. She completely understood my daughter and her husband's vision, was super responsive and very flexible. She allowed those of us involved with the planning to breath much easier. The proof is in the pudding, and all our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, even weeks after the event. Best of all, the bride and groom had a blast, and wedding memories that will last them a lifetime! Lastly, I will say that Paula is one of the NICEST and real people I have ever worked with. She's a straight shooter and her sense of humor and personal support in every way made her so fun to work with and both my daughter and I now consider her a friend. As my husband said repeatedly during the wedding planning, "Hiring Paula was the best money we spent on this wedding." Truer words could not be spoken! If you are hiring a wedding planner, this lady is simply the best there is, hire her immediately, you'll be very happy and grateful that you did!

Their staff was friendly and professional and the way they designed the food with little signs and greenery was beautiful. Most importantly, the food tasted delicious! My sister is a super fussy, food snob and she literally said the grilled shrimp dish was the best she ever had in her life and she pleaded for the recipe. Susan's catering was a smashing success. We hired Snapshot Entertainment to provide their Deluxe Photo Booth Package for our November 2016…read morewedding. From beginning to end, Juliet and Allison were absolutely incredible. They were extremely prompt responding to our emails, exceedingly personable (our wedding guests LOVED them) and they allowed us to customize every single thing about our photo booth - we chose the backdrop color and even the photo strip colors down to the wording and font. They came prepared with a TON of cool props and printed extra copies of each strip, putting together a scrapbook for us to keep as a memento. They decorated the book with adorable jewels and personalized it with each guest adding notes next to their picture. The scrapbook was given to us at the end of our wedding and it was so great to look through later that weekend to see all the fun our guests had and read their well wishes, especially because it'll take weeks to get our professional pictures back & we were able to see these right away! OH! AND they put all of the pictures on a Flash Drive for us to keep & also uploaded them to their online gallery (password protected if you'd prefer). Seriously - they were incredible & really thought of everything. We would highly recommend Snapshot Entertainment for any function you're planning. They are well worth the investment. Thank you, ladies!

We contacted Amanda and Shelby about the partial planning and coordination package only two months…read morebefore the wedding. Even with unusually short notice, they did a phenomenal job: They helped plan all the remaining details, bringing our attention to things we had not considered and giving us great ideas and recommendations all along the way. Their experience planning and coordinating numerous weddings gave us the confidence to trust their advice. They took care of all the setup/breakdown and decorations with detail and precision. They personalized the design to our needs. They researched vendors we had not yet secured, priced out and purchased all of the extras needed for the setup (e.g. flowers, linens, desserts, personalized signs), and coordinated with the venue, vendors, and ceremony participants beforehand and on the day of. I cannot even list all the details they managed, and they made sure everything was covered. Before we hired them, we were doing all the planning ourselves (in the midst of busy work schedules and moving). I honestly cannot imagine how we would have finished the remaining planning and setup/breakdown without their help. They took a huge load off our shoulders and allowed us (and our family and friends) to thoroughly enjoy our wedding week with as little stress as possible. All of this was for a reasonable price, far more affordable than what many wedding planners and coordinators charge. The wedding was beautiful from start to finish, and our family and friends are still talking about it. I would absolutely recommend Sweetly Designed Events for a wedding or any other major event.

I am a super type A person and a project manager for work so I didn't know if I needed a wedding planner. I am SO glad I did. Courtney's communication, organization and DIY skills are unmatched. The money we spent hiring her we saved tenfold by all her amazing skills and tips. Also Courtney had unlimited calls/texts through out the process. Where to even begin when talking about the amazing Emily (and her mStarr event designs team) on the…read morestyling and coordination of our wedding? Emily is insanely talented, amazingly organized, wonderfully resourceful, and above all else, a truly kind person. She started helping my husband and I plan our wedding about 2 years before our wedding day - and without a doubt planning a wedding from across the country would not have been possible without her. We realized again and again in the months leading up to our wedding we would not have been able to plan anything near what we had envisioned without her. Emily is wonderfully creative and paid such attention to every detail. She got to know us and made sure that the wedding was a reflection of "us" as a couple. One of our favorite moments from our wedding weekend was when Emily brought us into the reception space to see it fully transformed - we just couldn't believe how incredible everything was! I can't tell you how many people commented that it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings - and also how "us" it was- all due to Emily's design and planning. Her creativity and tireless effort to make our day perfect left me in awe. She was attentive, available, and such a wonderful resource. She is calm, a great listener, and became a valuable friend through the wedding planning process. It was an amazingly beautiful day and we have her to thank for it - on the wedding day we were both able to fully relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Emily and her team had everything under control. She took the vision we had of our wedding and elevated it beyond any of our dreams. I wish we could do it all over again and again and again. I most highly and absolutely recommend Emily to plan and create any and every event that you have.

Emily at mStarr has excellent creative capabilities and ideas. However it was my experience that…read moreshe is very difficult to work with. I have had a hard time deciding whether I wanted to make a negative review at all because my wedding was so positive, but I feel it is important for other brides to be made aware of this problem. I won't go into many details (although I did write notes in moments of frustration) but in summary she is very un-prompt in her responses (which towards the end not only is stressful but made things more expensive, like dropping the ball on candles and lanterns that should have been ordered a long time ago; I think I literally signed a contract with the person doing my lights for my tent two weeks before the wedding. It wasn't just me and my mom who were wondering what was going on, but my other vendors who were worried too). Everything that she was suppose to have control over was done last minute. The last month or so of my wedding planning was a lot more stressful then it needed to be because there were still questions unanswered. This was a time that I should have had everything completely ready to go, and everything was, except for items that she was "designing". She was cold and rude, when I was trying to be friendly and fun! All of my other vendors were super enthusiastic, friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout this process and I by no means was a difficult bride. Most of my tight knit group of vendors would respond to me within the hour, or definitely the day. I often didn't hear from her for days. On multiple occasions she referred to my "lower investment" which is why she couldn't do something. Not only is that entirely inappropriate, but in my eyes (and many of my vendors eyes as well) I was paying way too much for what I got (I paid $4600) And what I got was pretty much inspiration, some sourcing, and a little help the day of (which my day of coordinator could have done completely..emily was not there by the way, it was her assistant--courtney who was very nice!). I don't know if it was because of my "lower investment" that she didn't put as much time into my wedding, but her timeline was very off. In order to be successful in this business, you not only need to have the creative touch and ideas (which she definitely has), but you really need to be good with people, happy, organized, enthusiastic and eager to help. Also, she did not care about our budget. In the end my wedding was beautiful! Maybe it had a little to do with her, but I am pretty sure that without her it would have been beautiful too. And most definitely, much less stressful. It was my vision after all and my other vendors executed it flawlessly.
