He was really thoughtful in sending us sample galleries from weddings that were similar in venue and style to what we were planning. He was great at communicating about details prior to the wedding, even scouting out potential alternate locations when the forecast showed a chance of rain. On the day itself, James was wonderful. He provided just the right amount of direction while putting everyone at ease and getting a great array of candid shots and special moments. I still don't know how he manages to get so many different angles and shots by himself during the ceremony. We also love the video slideshow he did with the photos and speeches. The stunning photos from our wedding capture moments we'll cherish forever and we can't thank James enough and recommend him more highly!

It was a simple Brooklyn wedding and we didn't want to be tied down by a photographer getting shots of us the whole time and so we were 50/50 on getting a photographer. After meeting with him few months before the wedding, he put our worries at ease. Through the whole process leading up to the wedding day, he followed up to ensure that he had all the information he needed for our event and our timeline. The day of the event, Konrad was phenomenal! He did more than what a bride would hope from a photographer! He took the photos he needed without being intrusive, sorta like a fly on the wall as he called it, kept us on time and on schedule without putting unnecessary pressure, and kept my family and the bridal party entertained through the whole process. When it came time to take the group pics I have requested, he was concise and executed the line up as I instructed. My groom, I, all my family and guests really loved him and enjoyed his company and jokes during our wedding. I would highly recommend Konrad! He is professional, talented and a real class act. He came on time to our meeting and to our wedding event, followed directions very well, and delivered our photos very fast. He took great pics and even more amazing candid shots during our wedding that really captured all the feels and how much fun everyone was having on our very special day. Thank you so much Konrad!!

Konrad is super professional, fun, easy to work with, organized, flexible, and most of all, TALENTED! I knew from the start I had chosen the right photographer because of his attention to detail in planning and making sure every aspect of the day was accounted for. He was always available to discuss changes in plans and throw around ideas. My girlfriend (now fiancée!) only met him on the day of and in a short amount of time was able to see just how awesome he is. Add all of that to the pictures he took - we were just blown away. Every friend and family member has commented on how amazing our pictures look - that we look like we're in a movie. All because of Konrad's genius and creativity! He directed us on what to do and made us feel so comfortable, and as other reviews mentioned, made everything feel so natural and fun. He was so pleasant working with our families once they surprised my girlfriend, and knew exactly how to take cues from what was going on and what they wanted in the moment. He is just absolutely everything you want in a photographer; hiring him is one of the best decisions you will make for your big event.

My husband and I tend to be a little camera shy and too posed, but Adam made sure we were comfortable, we were lost in our love for each other, and that we looked natural. I love that for the rest of my life I will have these beautiful reminders to someday share with my children. I will always recommend Adam Mason photography and I am so grateful he was available to share in some of the happiest moments of our lives! -Tim and Hannah

We recently got married in the DMV region and hired Joon Lee for our wedding photographer through a…read morerecommendation from a friend. I'm sure most couples who are getting married don't know where to go for a photographer (like us - we were clueless!) as it is very hard to find a good quality photographer. We really put a big emphasis on our photographer as we knew it would really be the only thing left that we can really cherish after our wedding. We were extremely fortunate and lucky to have found Mr. Lee. For the quality of pictures he provided, he should have charged us two to three times more! We hired him for both our engagement and wedding photo shoot. His wonderful artistic skills and hard work really showed in our pictures. He went over hours during our engagement photo shoot, looking for the best places, best lighting, and best quality for our pictures - and I got to say...he really met our expectations and more than beyond that. He worked so hard and produced wonderful pictures that we can cherish for a lifetime! If you are in the DMV region and seriously looking for a wedding photographer, please give Mr. Lee a try. I can guarantee you for the price you will be paying, he will give you more and beyond what you expect!! His English is still a little broken (just came from Korea) but he understands very well and uses all different ways of communication to help you get the best pictures.

I wanted to find someone local so I could save on the trip payment for the photographers . With helps of some nice friends, I found J photography Group. The owner, Photographer Joon met with me and my fiance and gave us a history of how he started photography and what his styles are. Photographer Joon is definitely not the typical classical photographer. His photos are more full of life and interesting. They are not the same style photos you see in normal wedding pictures. He will most definitely WOW you away on your first meeting. I had searched websites and blogs and had a fairly good idea of what types of photos I wanted and what types of albums, keepsakes I would like to keep from the wedding. Photographer Joon was very nice to share what others have done and what he recommends. He also gives advice on dresses, TuxS, flower deco and everything you would need to make your wedding AAA+++. So far, we've met once and we signed the contract. I will update once we do our photo shoot. I recomment J photography Group to all those who would like to have a very fun and lovely keepsake of your wedding. ;)

I can't believe I couldn't find this guy on Yelp when my daughter was born 4 years ago, but here he…read moreis and my experience with him was so awful, I still remember it today and I have to leave a review. I purchased a LivingSocial for a photo session before my daughter was born to do photos. We emailed a few times and set up a date, 3 weeks after she was born and he picked the location, citing that he had been there before and it was really pretty. He confirmed the Glenview Mansion in Rockville as the location, 2 pm time and even said all we had to bring were big smiles. Our shoot was 10 days later on July 20. We get there and he is late...I see another family there and wonder if that may be him because no one else is at the location. I can't reach him via phone and email him at 3:04 pm asking where he is as we have arrived. Eventually he shows up and greets the other family. We go up and introduce ourselves, ready for our session as well. Peter stares at me, blankly, then back at the other family. I remind him that he picked this location, date and time, I show him the emails and the only paltry excuse he could come up with is "..I guess I double-booked". Ok...well, what do you think his corrective steps were or even his logic for next steps? He decides to go with the other family because they paid full-price. I asked if he could maybe alternate...shooting them and then shooting us...I asked if he could at least get a few shots of just my newborn...(mind you she is three weeks old and it is outdoors in July so it was so hot) a refund, opportunity to shoot some other time...anything to demonstrate that he messed up and wanted to correct it. This man didn't do a single thing. I get it, the people who paid more are worth more to you but if you aren't organized enough to manage your bookings, don't use outside services to book them like LivingSocial! I still see him pop up here and there on the coupon websites and I am disgusted. He walked away from us, leaving us with a "go f-ck yourself because not my problem" attitude and made no attempt to rectify it. He sent me an email afterwards where he offered up this explanation: "I can't offer anything but my deepest apologies this does not happen often but yes it happens. We only double booked twice from 507 vouchers redeemed and I know it's not an excuse. Somewhere along the way the communication got lost. I also apologize for being to firm and couldn't take you on. Once I again I'm truly sorry. Regards peter " What's worse is when I contacted LivingSocial afterwards to try and get my refund, they were having trouble reaching him! Please, do yourself a favor and select any number of quality, talented photographers but this man is a cheat, waste of time and energy.
