We got introduced to Rago months before the wedding date but he was involved and communicative the entire time. Him and his team showed up early, got the best poses and were so helpful and kind. They got a lay of the venue the day before so knew where they wanted to take photos and videos. We got sneak peeks literally the day after (or even the night of) and were over the moon to see the final results. Final pictures and videos were ready 2-3 weeks later and reliving the best day ever over and over is such a joyful experience. I definitely recommend checking out the other Google reviews of Rachel because they are all glowing. My husband and I hired Rachel for both our engagement and wedding photos and this was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process! In total, I looked at about 15 photographers' websites and requested quotes from 7 photographers because I knew how important having a photographer we liked would be. As I went through this process, I was looking for three qualities: a) I liked their photography style, b) I could trust them to be professional, punctual, and (most importantly) kind to me, my husband, friends, and family, and c) I would enjoy spending 8 hours with them as they documented some of the most precious moments of my life. Rachel was our first meeting, and from the moment I met her, I knew that this was the person I wanted to photograph our wedding. She is kind, calm, and professional. She's able to guide you through the process of getting your photo taken and she makes the wedding day so much easier. Prior to the wedding day, she provided suggestions to for our wedding day timeline so we could do our immediate family photos before the wedding (something we wanted to do so we could have more time during cocktail hour.) We almost didn't do engagement photos, but as my husband and I have never had our photos taken professionally before prior to this year, Rachel recommended them to be more comfortable the day of the wedding. She was definitely correct that it helped the wedding day and we got some amazing photos out of it at the National Gallery of Art. We just got our sneak peek photos back (less than a week after the wedding, which was so impressive), and I was so excited because I have been itching to write a glowing review of Rachel since she first did our engagement photos earlier this year. Looking through these photos, it was so fun to see how she captured our wedding day, including small moments that captured the love between my husband and I as well as the love and support of our family and friends, and I am going to look back at these photos fondly for decades to come. We are a UK couple who decided to get married in Orlando in September 2014, and let me first say…read morefor me, a control freak, making a decision on who was going to take the photos you would have for the rest of your life without actually meeting that photographer was a huge, huge decision and you have to have a lot of trust and I can say without any doubt in my mind that there was no one who could have done a better job at our wedding than Sandra did. From the start she went above and beyond to help us during the process of planning our wedding. Once we booked Sandra we found that the place we wanted to take photos after the ceremony and have our reception was under a lot of construction work which really had an impact on our plans and when we asked Sandra for advice as she knew the area she sent through so much information about alternate places to take photos, gave us loads of information about alternate places for our reception and sent us photos of these places of other weddings she has done there - she was invaluable in helping us make a decision. Sandra helped us out like this a number of times before the big day and kept in regular contact, answered my random questions and concerns and even called me when I was stressing about certain things, which made us feel really comfortable. This above and beyond approach did not end and even on the wedding day when we had a slight logistical issue getting from where we took our photos to meeting our guests for the reception, she drove us in her own car rather than us pay for a taxi - again, something she did not have to do at all, but it's the little things like this that make the difference, she wanted our day to be as easy as possible and did absolutely everything she could to make sure it was stress free. So, onto the actual photos. We had Sandra booked for 5 hours. She arrived at the venue around 30 minutes before her time even started to take photos of the venue before everyone arrived. She loves the natural shots, so photos of us interacting with our guests, laughing, talking etc are stunning. She captured all of the emotion, and we didn't even notice but she got shots of us from every angle imaginable. Even the 'posed' photos with guests which usually I do not like are stunning and look really natural and not forced like other photos I have seen. Another thing about Sandra is that she really puts you at ease, it's not awkward when she asks you to do something which was a concern I always had (English people are really more standoffish and honestly uptight, I am really like that so I worried it was going to be awkward when we were asked to kiss or look at each other lovingly or do something that could put me out of my comfort zone) but nothing was awkward at all, she is a person you can feel really comfortable around and our guests said that too. Before we left for America for the wedding I had been putting shots I wanted on my Pinterest which Sandra looked at and made sure we got the shots we wanted which was a really nice touch. We got a link to our online photos exactly 3 weeks after the wedding just to check we were happy with everything before she put them on disc. Her favourite shots she copied and makes black and white - all of the photos she chose would have been the ones we did too! We also have been sent our disc with our high definition photos, so we will be receiving those soon. We ended up with 1634 photos in total and there is not a single one I dislike, our friends and family love them all too and I honestly cannot find the words to say just how thankful we are that we came across Sandra. Putting your trust in someone is hard to do, but it was clear from the start we made the right choice and our photos are just beautiful.
