We are spending a few days in OKC and needed some options with the Grandkids so we found and hit up UnPluggits for an afternoon session. The place was jammed packed a field trip and the staff were busy clearing the group so we had a chance to look around. Our grands chose to paint some wood projects and we got them set up and jumped right in. The cost was a bit steep for the supplies but we were comped the reservation fee so it all played out. Once done, the kids went to the indoor playground which was huge! Plenty of options for adults to either sit and watch or play air hockey or foosball and a plus-adults have free admission with a child. On a hot, rain-filled or cold day this is a great spot to spend some time with your kids or grandkids. read more

We did a private birthday party here on the 17th. The kids loved it and we enjoyed having the place to ourselves! We opted to do the birthday keepsake plate. Discovered this gem of a place this year by a friend. When we first made plans in my mind i was thinking it was strictly painting! Boy was i wrong, there's so much more to here than that! When you walk in, you're immediately surrounded by all sorts of pottery molds you can choose from. They have everything from bowls to decorative accents. They do have a smaller private room offered for parties etc. which is a great venue spot for parties i need to remember once my son gets a bit older. Their paint area is huge! However it's also a play and explore place as they have a play kitchen, train track, play doh etc. Our favorite part is their giant indoor playground area that i had no idea they had!! It's huge and with slides, climbing areas etc. the kids have so much fun! They have an air hockey machine that my son loves and we play for literally 30 min straight... They also have a section designated for kiddos 3 and under which is nice they offer as well it's even gated off... The people here are super friendly and welcoming letting you enjoy and explore. They even offer snacks and drinks to buy in case you play so much you work up an appetite! Also bring some paper bags to recycle and you get a discounted admission which most people don't know about i feel. Love Unpluggits and always have fun playing at this gem of a place! read more

I love this place!!! If I lived in Oklahoma I would be a frequent visitor! We are visiting OK for a wedding and when we found out how cold it was going to be we had to find something fun and INDOORS to do with my 2 year old (originally going to go to the zoo or a farm). I found this on a mommy blog and instantly knew he would love it. Not only did he LOVE painting and playing with chalk and running around the playground and playing with thr train table AND the magnetic wall...but now I have awesome art keepsakes from our trip! Awesome! Super fun! So many wooden paint and take pieces to choose from for the kids. He had a hard time deciding what to paint (he picked a toy plane and a flat dinosaur). We've been to many indoor fun places for kids, and this one is most definitly at the bottom of the list. First off, the online photos of this place are very misleading; the photos make it look much, much, bigger, and neatly orginized. It is tiny once you get inside, and very messy to say the least. Nothing organized and things (which are supposed to be the activities you pay for) are all over the place. We honestly didn't know what to do. My kids ages 5 and 6 actually wanted to leave. The jungle gym area was ok, but not worth $7. It was like a McDonalds play place only just a bit bigger. Very unimpressed. read more

Ample parking, clean restrooms, and loads and loads of physical activity for children and adults on rainy cold icy days where outside is just not an option. Basic play and paint price is about $10, then arts and crafts and porcelain painting is priced per activity but very very reasonable. If you are looking for price and quiet, this is not the place. Lots and lots of screaming kids that are overjoyed at all the activities. Pirate ships, playground, slides, light balls for throwing, shuffleboard, sand box, finger or brush painting on paper, play dough, dress up, AND THOSE ARE ALL INCLUDED WITH ADMISSION! I just hope they have an adults only night, BYOB, and I am so in again!! We've come here several times over the years and it just rocks and the 4 year old ALWAYS falls asleep on the way home!! It rocks! They will fire your porcelain paint projects as well to be picked up a week later or they also have same day ready paints for everything. If the weather is bad and the kids are getting antsy with too much unreleasable energy, this is the place to come. Great for birthday parties or political rallies. I was taking a look at different reviews of businesses I know in my area and when I came across one of my family's favorite places I stopped to look. I am please to see some good reviews for them, but couldn't understand the first one, left by Michelle M. The online photos are NOT misleading - there is plenty of room in here for kids to explore, create and play. I've seen daycare groups come in with 30 or more kids and there was still plenty of room for the individual families to not feel crowded. The indoor playground is awesome. Whoever thought of the giant climbing/sliding structure inside was brilliant. So nice to have a place for the kids to play, just like they do at outdoor playgrounds, but inside. This has been a life-saver during the times the weather is too cold, or too hot, or too wet, etc. My kids play outside every chance they get, but there are times it's just not feasible. And while they play I can relax. I can easily see them in the playground while I'm painting a ceramic (my fav thing to do there). And for the price ($7 per child - no charge for the adults) it's really great. We can get there when they open, leave for lunch (they'll stamp the child's hand) and come back later without having to pay again. There are plenty of projects for the kids to paint/decorate if you want to pay a little extra, but there are also free activities - painting on easels, games, chalk, dress up... so very cool. The employees are great and will help you get started on any projects for you and/or the kids. We've always felt welcome and comfortable. If someone "didn't know what to do", they probably didn't ask any questions. And yes, there is free wifi as well. I've seen parents that are obviously having to do work "from home" while watching their kids, but they are able to plug in their laptop, use the wifi and still keep an eye on their kids. I love the concept of Art and play. I truly believe this place is due for an update and play area needs a deep clean.

I would be giving this place more stars..but in my opinion they don't deserve more based on this past "interaction" I went there with my daughters for them to paint something for themselves and something for their dad for Father's Day. (Did it last year and he loved it). Well this year was not so good. They had a fun time doing the work, after issues getting started. But then never heard back about pick up. So I waited to see if they would call. On the 11 day I called (this morning) to find out where my pieces are so I can get them and finally give them out. Only to get the run around about a piece of mine breaking in the kiln (which I know CAN happen) but they didn't call me when they found it (claim it was too late to call) but then didn't call me the next morning either. Guess who's piece broke..that's right the Father's Day mug. Your "sorry" doesn't cut it when you don't inform the client and wait for them to have to find out by calling. This review is for the parent's night out. What a huge disappointment. This is the first time I have dropped my kids off for a parent's night out. My kids normally love going to Unpluggits but after tonight, both told me they never want to go back again. Why? One very very mean and rude 'teacher'. When asked if she was only rude to them, I had to listen to all the details of how this 'teacher' treated all the kids. To be honest I did not have to hear it from them. The moment I walked in to collect them I felt something was wrong. That feeling you get when you are a parent. The teacher named Sara looked as if she was going to explode and everything about her demeanor, speech, posture and attitude towards the kids looked way off. The kids actually looked scared and intimidated by her. The other women was very pleasant and kind but wow what a difference one person makes to a group. I payed $54 to have my kids make me promise never to take them to the place (that they normally love) again because of this women who clearly without my kids even having to tell me have no business looking after kids. They are kids. They are a challenge. If you don't know how to work with them without raising your voice and intimidating them then stay away from them. Also, I was never asked my ID when I collected them. She simply barked at me 'who you here for?' and then stomped off glaring at a child who was obviously already scared of her. read more
