We are spending a few days in OKC and needed some options with the Grandkids so we found and hit up UnPluggits for an afternoon session. The place was jammed packed a field trip and the staff were busy clearing the group so we had a chance to look around. Our grands chose to paint some wood projects and we got them set up and jumped right in. The cost was a bit steep for the supplies but we were comped the reservation fee so it all played out. Once done, the kids went to the indoor playground which was huge! Plenty of options for adults to either sit and watch or play air hockey or foosball and a plus-adults have free admission with a child. On a hot, rain-filled or cold day this is a great spot to spend some time with your kids or grandkids.

This place is so cute and so practical for kids. Esp little toddlers. Indoor play center and arts and crafts. Air conditioned. Closed off. I love it! So easy to let the kids burn energy in a safe environment! $8 for paint and play per child. Can't beat that!

I love this place!!! If I lived in Oklahoma I would be a frequent visitor! We are visiting OK for a wedding and when we found out how cold it was going to be we had to find something fun and INDOORS to do with my 2 year old (originally going to go to the zoo or a farm). I found this on a mommy blog and instantly knew he would love it. Not only did he LOVE painting and playing with chalk and running around the playground and playing with thr train table AND the magnetic wall...but now I have awesome art keepsakes from our trip! Awesome! Super fun! So many wooden paint and take pieces to choose from for the kids. He had a hard time deciding what to paint (he picked a toy plane and a flat dinosaur). I couldn't recommend this place more. Also...it is so kid friendly there are no worries about mixing paint or making a mess. Perfect! I need to find a place like this in Los Angeles!

My 3-year-old loves coming here to paint and play. It's a great place to burn some energy and get some cute keepsakes out of the deal. Staff is very nice and helpful. If you're looking for a super kid-friendly place to spend a few hours, this is the best.

What a wonderful place for kids of all ages! Toddlers have plenty of things to climb on, older kids can paint or crafts & moms can craft, have a cup of coffee or just hang out. I love that it is always super clean and the staff is very friendly!

snowflakes children painted for Sandy Hook Elementary last Christmas. So cute!

I love the concept of Art and play. I truly believe this place is due for an update and play area needs a deep clean.

However, we got here around 1:30 and were greeted right away. When we first got there, there were 2 associates working at the time. They were both nice and very attentive. They were relatively busy but they both handled it with patience, grace and kindness. About halfway thru our visit, the young man who worked there left (I'm assuming his shift was over) so it was just the girl left, her name was Deb. She continued to help everyone in the store and never left anyone unaddressed. She was AMAZING! She never seemed overwhelmed but still made sure everyone had everything they needed. She was SO good with my daughter, it was very refreshing to see a business ran so wonderfully. She even took some pictures of us afterwards and was so sweet! The stock they had to choose from was impressive, they had TONS of different styles, designs, themes, etc. They provided the paint, fun stencils, water to wash your brushes off with, sponges to clean your item off beforehand, aprons (even small aprons for my daughter), TONS of different brushes in different sizes, as well as tons of other things to make our experience enjoyable. Like any place of business, there were some pieces that were pretty pricey, but they also had items that were on sale so if you wanted to stay budget friendly, you totally could. We asked about the studio fee upfront and any other possible costs and they explained it all very well. I spent under $25 for both my daughter and myself, including tip. We were there for over 2 hours and I'm already looking forward to the next time we get to go. It was the best time we've had in a while, especially being able to stay inside away from the Oklahoma heat.

As we searched, this place seemed perfect and in all honesty it was! We were greeted right away and given some instructions on where we could find certain things to paint. There's mugs, piggy banks, plates, bowls, seasonal items, vases, different animals of all sizes and $5 mugs which is a nice money saver. We were impressed by the selection and every piece is a different price that is on the bottom of the item. This establishment is clean and very organized. We spent 2 1/2 hours at Color Me Mine and we were provided with aprons, unlimited paint, paper towels, sponges, water cups, a ton of different brushes and even paint bottles that have a tip for writing on items. During our time there, the associate, Deb, was absolutely incredible! She was attentive and answered all of our questions. She was really good with the kids as well which we always appreciate! She explained that the pieces will have to be picked up later so the finishing gloss can be applied so I can't wait to see our finished results! Deb was happy to recommend near by restaurants as well when we asked. Of course the kids finished before us adults however the facility allows snacks and drinks so they were able to have their snacks. The pricing can vary so I suggest asking up front about the studio fee. For myself and my seven year old we left spending less than $50 including tip. For 2 1/2 hours of fun, that's worth it!
