Great prices and great staff! However the dog bathing area needed a few repairs. The door on the bathing unit kept falling off and my dog almost fell out of the tub. The dog dryer also kept overheating and I was worried it was going to catch fire. The towels and shampoos were very appreciated!! $20 to wash our 2 dogs in a small private room, totally worth it! You get the room for the hour- 1 dog is $15, 2 for $20. It was clean, they had many shampoo/conditioner options, grooming supplies, many towels and a dryer! Highly recommend, especially if you have a reactive/anxious dog, the private room is a plus. read more

Came just for the dog wash. It's a huge tub, but very little water pressure. Won't clean a large dog- and the tub door comes off if you touch it and is super loud. Force dryer is VERY small- so don't expect it to do any significant drying either. Only do this for small dogs. read more

Yay Unleashed! We live in Durham, so are very familiar with the Unleashed stores on this side of the state and are super happy with this chain. The Wilmington location was definitely no exception-it was a great place to find on our vacation. We had brought the dog to the beach but didn't accommodate for the intense heat of the sand! The staff member suggested that we get a pad balm for him and it was such a great idea. We also picked up a cooling vest and treats for the dog sitter's cats. Unleashed may be a little pricy, but they are worth every cent in quality, support and options. Very happy they were centrally located downtown so we could pop in quick on our pre-dinner stroll! read more

After talking with the vet and a few friends, we decide to change food for our fur babies. Based on the recommendations we decided to switch to Call of The Wild. I didn't intend on stopping here but was next door and decided to check and see if they carried the product. Sure enough they did and it was much cheaper than my normal food. I'm from out of town and forgot my natural flea and tick food powder from Earth Animal...which works like a charm, but you have to start it about 2 weeks ahead for it to be affective. Anyway.....Unleashed didn't carry brand but she wanted more info on it and we'll as showed me what she did have. It's refreshing to have a pleasant conversation about a product she doesn't even sell w/out getting bent out of shape. She informed me of a doggie ice cream social they would be having that weekend. ..Unfortunately I would be gone then. I will definitely make a point to visit this store again when visiting my Dad. Just came into Unleashed for the first time today. My vet at Capeside Animal Hospital recommended it for a new food for my maltipoo Vicky who is pretty itchy and has some tear stains. Jackie was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot on what causes what issues and how to solve them. She suggested I try Natures Logic. Excited to try this new food.
