This review is just for the grooming portion…read more They were able to get my 4 year old, 65lbs, shaggy labradoodle in within 2 days of me calling for a groom. We asked for a total shave down/summer cut, and she looked wonderful after!! No spots were missed and she came out very happy. The groomer checked her in and was there for pick up. It took the typical 4 hours. I usually go to Petco or Petsmart because of cost, but when we moved to TX I wanted to try somewhere else. The cost was the same but the groomer took her time to get the knots out between her toes and shave her legs evenly...which wasn't the case at Petco/Petsmart. Also her super hairy doodle ears were plucked all the way. Plus! They got her in sooner. Usually for the bigger retail places it's a week or more out. For large dogs they do not express anal glands, just fyi. Wasn't a deal breaker for me. All the dogs coming in for daycare were super cute and excited! It makes we want to try it out. :)

Lissa M. not only comes to pick up my dog, but will take him to the vet, the groomer, or any place else he needs to go (she even offered to get him a Frosty if that is what he is used to! (LOL....Ben & Jerry , baby!).....When she shows up at the park, my little loyal bundle of love abandons me like yesterdays Liva Snap and runs to Lissa and goes crazy. He loves her like she just sprayed herself with Ham Perfume and is happy to go with her. She always grooms him (hair, nails and ears) and he always comes back both clean and exhausted. He LOVES playing at her place with the other dogs, socializes and generally has a rollicking time with the other 24 karat canines. When he comes home, he sleeps for 2 days. Petsitters Plus not only cares for my dog, but provides him with enough stimulation that he loves going. For that and the comfort I get in knowing that my dog, my companion and my child all in one is being treated as the best brings me comfort which allows me to enjoy my time away. We've had other sitters in the past a few years ago, but after a couple of nightmares with unreliable sitters, we found Lissa. For us, she comes in the evenings and spends the night, then makes a visit during the day to see the dogs and give them an afternoon walk. They love her, and always remember her when she comes to stay with them, which takes away the stress of us being away and certainly better than taking them to be boarded somewhere. For the same or less money than boarding two dogs, they get to stay at home where they are comfortable, and have Lissa there with them. I trust her completely to take care of our dogs, though I almost hesitate to recommend her for fear she'll be booked up when we need her! She really is excellent!

Pictures attached. My dog is a golden retriever. They shaved her undercoat and now her coat might be permanently ruined. I dont know how this could happen or who is running their grooming side. Im beyond pissed, she is a 5000$ pup from a line of grand champions and she looks like a labrador retriever now. She was supposed to get a bath and a trim around her sanitary area after i kenneled her, and they shaved her whole body. If this is the kind of attention they pay with electric sheers around your dog, then imagine what they do everywhere else.

We chose to train our new dog Daisy that we adopted from the SPCA with the 8 basic & advanced…read morelessons and it was worth every penny! Our trainer, Monica, was excellent with Daisy and what I loved most about her was that she would explain to us how she was training our dog and also why she would do something a certain way. A lot of times she would comment about how this reinforces some sort of behavior or would boost Daisy's confidence, etc. At one point of our training Daisy didn't take well to the previous lesson (down lesson) and Daisy wasn't receptive to the next training session and was extremely nervous and jittery. Monica picked up on this right away and instead of just charging through, took a step back to assess the situation and told us that this lesson would be free since Daisy wasn't herself and even considered bringing another trainer in. We were extremely appreciative of this gesture and found it to be very considerate and professional. We were a little nervous starting out the training because Daisy is an extremely sensitive and submissive dog, but at the end of the training (which was today) her confidence levels are much higher and she seems to be a much happier dog!!! Daisy is far from perfect but her discipline and manners are getting better every day and we love seeing her progress and growth. We highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training. We did a ton of research and even met with other companies but we could not have been happier with our choice.
