I feel that I am in very good hands and the communication is there. They usually don't let me leave until they have reviewed my mammogram so that I could feel peace of mind. They also send a written report to me and my doctor on a timely basis. I find that the equipment is totally up-to-date and I can depend on its accuracy.

My insurance company denied my CT chest request by my pulmonologist, so I decided to find a place…read morethat is reasonably priced for self-pay and I found HVI. I booked the appointment with them. My CT was done on time and charge was reasonable. The front desk receptionist and the CT tech were very cordial and friendly. The whole process from registration, payment scan and CT disk collection took about 20 minutes. It was a quick in and out for me. Also, I now have online access to the patient portal to see my reports. I would recommend this place especially for SELF-PAY. I also had my calcium scoring done here; it was self-pay $100. I think this place is definitely run by business savvy people who understand that their cost of equipment and labor is fixed so any incremental revenues they can generate would be highly beneficial, therefore they do have a great price for self-pay or uninsured patients. I am promised to have my report delivered to my doc's office in 24 hours.

My fiancé fell down the stairs and twisted her ankle really bad. Nine days have passed, she can't walk on it at all, she has been in excruciating pain and after two ER visits they finally admitted her to help manage the pain. The hospital for whatever reason wouldn't do the MRI , so before being admitted the day of, her podiatrist was able to get one approved at this location. The doctor requested the results STAT. We are now on day three waiting for the results. The hospital needs the results to determine next steps. We were assured an on- call radiologist would read the test and send the results over and it never happened. The hospital ordered another MRI because of this but the insurance company denied it because one was already approved. Blue Cross Blue Shield doesn't care about the circumstances because it's all about money to them, just like Health Village Imaging! This is absolutely ridiculous and infuriating. We keep calling calling and calling only to be dismissed. Nobody cares!!!

The receptionist was friendly, helpful and prompt. Nick took me back and explained the procedure. He heard I was claustrophobic and instead of just shooing to as an inconvenience, showed me the tunnel and how and where I would set in it.
