But she made up some irrational reasons that she can't email me my report telling me she didn't know my identity i said what about I tell you my name , my insurance ID ,birth date and/or place of residence. As she couldn't find any reasons , she just HUNG up on me. This left a horrible taste in my mouth. IF her manager is seeing this , this is an ultimate problem you should resolve today! The technician was good overall . The images came out ok . But would I use this facility again which is 1.5 hour from my house. Most likely not!

I have been to Holmdel Imaging a few times over the last 5 years. They were pretty good. Saw me on…read moretime. Did professional work in a reasonable time. Then there was this last time. To start I scheduled an MRI. It was easy to do over the phone an I got a convenient time on a convenient day not too far in the future, sooner than I would have expected. They sent a link to fill out my medical history, which I did. Then a few days before the appointment I went to the patient portal just to check. They had changed the portal. I had to re-register. Then I had to fill out my medical history again. Nothing had been retained from the previous form. And this was only the history, other forms were not presented. There were several places that told me to list items, but there were no text boxes in which to do so, A couple of days before the appointment I was left voicemail that it was delayed by one hour. The morning of the appointment I got an email that I had forms to fill out. The forms I wanted to fill out days earlier were now available at the last minute. Since the MRI was delayed I did have time to fill them out, otherwise not. When I arrived at the new appointed time I was told that I had filled out everything online so I could just take a seat and wait. I did, for one hour. When I finally got in I was told there was a scheduling conflict. The technicians were friendly and professional. The actual MRI went well. Two days later I checked the portal and the results were there. I waited to be contacted by my physician. Two weeks later having heard nothing I reached out. He said he had not seen any results and asked where I had it done. He called Holmdel Imaging. As a result of their system change they had not sent him the results. He said that I was not alone, there were many others. This is inexcusable. The entire point of getting some scan is to have it sent to the physician who ordered it. If this criterion is not met the entire exercise is worthless, no matter how good the people or the equipment. If it's not broke, don't fix it. They took a system that was working and they broke it. And they did not do a sanity check on the new system to verify functionality. They waited for the patients. It doesn't matter how good they were if the system does not work now.

However, the billing department should receive a -5. I went for a breast ultrasound the end of April 2026. I was told that I had to pay for this service before I went in, which I did. When I received my EOB from my insurance company, the procedure was covered and I owed nothing. The insurance company paid them on 5/8/2026. I had to call several times over the past 3-4 months and kept getting a run around on my refund. I got my insurance company involved and low and behold, I finally received the refund on 9/8/26, exactly 4 months later. I will NEVER be paying for a service up front again unless I personally check with my insurance company and they tell me exactly what I will owe. This was a horrible experience and so much time wasted all because they were hoping I would go away.

How can we make you comfortable, what music would you like to drown out that annoying banging in the MRI machine? Awkward position for an X-ray, are you ok? Are you comfortable? I could ramble on about my positive experience, and, but I also need to share how amazing they were when my 13-year old daughter needed MRIs and X-rays. They were equally amazing! They made her so comfortable, she had absolutely no anxiety or fear. They talked her through the entire exam, and made her very comfortable. I trust no one else to manage our family's radiology needs than Princeton Radiology in Freehold. Scheduling online is the easiest, upload your Rx, too. They typically call you within 24 hours to schedule. (*The only improvement I would suggest is the option to pick your own time online while scheduling, because our most recent scheduling took almost a week to get anyone on a call. But due to COVID this has become the norm for many businesses challenged with staffing, so I wouldn't let the wait deter you. It's worth the kind and caring experience.)

I've…read morehad everything from ultrasounds, x-rays, MRIs, to mammograms performed over the course of the years. Appointments are scheduled very quickly. There's hardly ever a long waiting period. Most of the time, they are able to schedule an appointment for the week I call; sometimes even for that day. The facility, located on the first floor of the Medical Builidng, is very clean and modern. Everyone from the initial appointment scheduler, intake receptionists to the radiology techs have been super friendly, nice and efficient. I have not had one bad experience here in all these years.
