He took several pictures and had me approve the one to use. He couldn't improve my appearance but such is life! The staff are very helpful, starting your vision experience while you wait to see one of the optometrists. The optometrist that I had was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The equipment they use is state of the art. The vision tests took about 30 minutes and as we went along with it, everything was explained in terms that I could understand. After the test I looked at frames as I wanted to purchase everything while at the store. The frames are not inexpensive, they have name brands, but they do have a London Drugs brand and the cost of those fit right into my budget. I am was very impressed with all that I came in contact with. It was a breath of fresh air to spend time with employees that seemed to enjoy what they do for a living. I can highly recommend the optical department at this London Drugs hands down.

When we asked the employee for calendars, he looked irritated and said loudly that they were all gone and he told us to go to the bank to get the free ones. This was insulting because we did not ask for free calendars. Also, they had no one at the cashier counter; all the staff were merchandisers. That means they did not want to serve. The service at this location was surprisingly terrible when they carried luxury brands such as Chanel.

The layout for this store is a little odd, the bottom floor is cosmetics and makeup and the top floor has everything else like snacks and toiletries. I was confused at first and thought this store only had cosmetics when I first went in. I almost missed the stairs to go upstairs since its hidden towards the back. This store had a good array of snacks, candy and chips. I love looking at this stuff whenever I go to a different country since they always have unique items. I found poutine chips and ketchup chips here which can only be found in Canada. We also bought water and toothpaste. The prices were reasonable and the cashier was friendly. Everything is well organized and they have a pretty good selection for the small space. I didn't get a chance to look at the makeup downstairs which seemed more high end but now I know where to go if I do need makeup.

Staff was very friendly at both places in the store we interacted with them and when my friend decided to buy some lottery tickets, they gave him something to scratch it off with (who carries coins anymore?) and showed him the machine to check his tickets right away.
