Date of visit: July 15 ,2025 We popped in here looking for a place to buy some stamps and maybe some postcards and had a wonderful overall experience. Staff was very friendly at both places in the store we interacted with them and when my friend decided to buy some lottery tickets, they gave him something to scratch it off with (who carries coins anymore?) and showed him the machine to check his tickets right away. Really the only issue here was the guys outside that looked to be selling and/or doing drugs near the door, but I can't fault the store too much for that. read more

Horrible customer service security guards are rude unprofessional and discriminate! I will keep reposting reviews because this is the truth it is not slander if it is true. Blackbird security is the worst I no longer shop in any store that deals with them not just rexall but any store. You treat customers like trash and want us to spend money in your store! I don't think so. I'll gladly take my money elsewhere to stores like London drugs! You don't even deserve one star! If I could I'd give you negative 5 stars! Improve? A good solid drugstore in downtown. We sat outside until they opened and then browsed the aisles and picked up a bunch of different things including makeup remover, allergy pills, headache medicine, eyedrops drops and more. They also have electronics, beverages etc. Maybe because we got there first thing, but the store was super clean and everybody working there was very friendly. A great experience overall. read more

The pharmacy staff at this location are very rude. Do not come here for your vaccinations. I arrived early for my flu shot, the waiting line was empty. The staff asked me to wait 10 mins for them to call me in, however someone with an earlier appointment arrived shortly after and they took him in which is fine, his appointment was before mine. Once that person was done, no one other than me was in the waiting area, yet they still made me wait for another 15 minutes until I lost my patience and canceled my appointment. This is weird when there is a Shoppers just a few blocks down (their competitor). This store is convenient but prices are ridiculous. So came here to get cranberry juice and it was $3.80 but guess what in the food court you can get it for $2.50. This doesn't make any sense. And guess what the food court is just less than 3 mins away. Service was really awkward. So what had happened is I asked a girl if there are other bigger size cranberry juice and she seems not to know the answer. She said she thinks that is what they have in the fridge and then she mumbled she will go look. Next thing you know she went to the cashier area and started ringing order in. That was weird. I thought she was looking in the computer but she is taking orders. Not great service. Maybe she never got customer service training. The place is a bit crammed full of things. Go to place before we spend the night in San Diego before a cruise. Liquor prices are really cheap! And the store is very clean.

The employee told us that there was no more stock at the back. Then she came to us when we were about to leave and said that they had stock available. She should confirm the product availability before giving customers the answer. Otherwise, they might lose business or disappoint customers. read more

I was leaving on a cruise and I forgot an important medication back on the east coast. My prescription is in the US and I was not. Ahmad, the pharmacist calmly described what I needed to do. He then quickly filled my prescription and kept me updated throughout the process. I thanked him profusely but he was humble and said "it's my job." It is, but you did it well and quickly. As I entered the store, the male clerk was flirting with a coworker. Seriously get a room At the cashier, he didn't answer my question about why a food product was marked down. After ringing up my order, he gave me a bag then charged me without saying that it was a dollar. I decided to opt out of getting a bag. He was so rude!!!! read more

They are your standard run-of-the-mill drug store, with the added bonus of offering certain fresh, ready to eat foods. This is a plus when you are starving after work and need to quickly grab a bite before jumping on your bus or train home. Unfortunately, they do not have a microwave available in the store, which largely defeats the purpose. read more

I'm so glad to have been able to submit this business to Yelp and write the first review. I have been to this Rexall location twice and will not be returning, no matter how convenient it may be. I live within 15 minutes (walking) and receive Rexall flyers in the mail. Why is this the only Rexall that either refuses [1st visit] or puts up a fuss [2nd visit] to honour the prices in the flyer? If this location does not participate in the company's advertising, then the flyers need to exclude this location in fine print AND there should be a large sign on their doors/windows. I did happen to get the items I selected reduced in price, as advertised, after much of a long wait. And, I may as well have purchased the same lip gloss from London Drugs because there was only a minor difference between Rexall's "sale price" of $10.12 and London Drugs' every day price of $10.99. Rexall's original price was $13.49 - well inflated so when they advertise 25% off, it seems like such a better deal. Ick! Overall, I am so unimpressed by the attitude and hassle. The Tinseltown location is much nicer, cleaner and more spacious inside. read more

Pros: This store is convenient, clean and has a good selection. Cons: some items are overpriced, the staff not so engaged and normally treat customers more like a problem. Based on the prices of the items this store geared to ripping off the downtown working folk. I try to limit my items to lottery tickets. read more

Handy to get a few things but need Canadian Dr to get any prescriptions. Nice location but drab store. But hey, they were open at 9:00 am on Sunday morning and close to two Starbucks shops !!! Good for common stand stuff - pretty small store. read more

A handy drug store in the middle of downtown? Yes, please. It has a refrigerated drinks section, a pharmacy, some snacks/cold foods, makeup (great sales around Christmas time), and regular drug store stuff. It's neat the times that I've been there and the cashiers have been friendly and usually quick. I know it's a smaller location but sometimes i wish it had a wider selection and more competitive prices like superstore has but that's not a fault of this specific location --more just rexall in general vs loblaws read more

The only reason I go occasionally is the convenience, but today I went and the makeup clerk was there and I said hello to her, no reaction. I have had similar treatment from their pharmacy girl. She had no customer service skills and treated me more like I was a nuisance more than anything. Aren't we .. the paying customer, the reason why they are in business ? Prescription renewals are reasonably priced and I like the post office in store. Most items are average prices with some periodic sale pricing but not as good as London Drugs sale prices. Sales staff are efficient. read more

I came here 'cause what I needed at Shoppers they didn't have and I was hoping to get the item here. I was looking for hair bleach, just the powder only in a large envelope for my roots. The minute that I walked in I knew that I wasn't going to get what I was looking for. The store was large but the selection of the items and how stocked it was spoke otherwise. At first I thought that they were either re-arranging the store or getting in more stock until I walked down the aisles and realized that this is what Rexall actually is. I am disappointed considering that it is a downtown location which I suspect gets a lot of traffic. It was busy when I went in there and the ladies at the til looked overwhelmed at the line. In general I've always considered Rexall to be overpriced, however, there was poor planning on my part with the bleach situation before my hair appointment and was willing to accept the mark up. Sadly I didn't find what I was looking for or a reasonable plan B. The plan B that I did consider was actually back at Shoppers, therefore, went sheepishly back. I tried asking two people for help and they seemed disinterested and disgruntled. I felt as though I was in a retail scene of the movie Ghost World. read more
