So, "one of the best" was a big statement coming from him. I was greeted by Corey at the front desk who was very tentative and friendly. I filled out my information on a tablet which was slightly difficult to navigate. The 'relaxation room' was very nice and comfortable. I met my masseuse, Monique, and she brought me in to further review what areas I'm having issues with. I only noted 2 problem areas and did not mention the others. Needless to say, my husband was right. Monique is no joke! Her pressure was perfect and used some techniques I haven't had before. She also seemed to find my other problem areas without me mentioning them which was impressive. I was sore a few days after which to me isn't a bad thing. She even took time after the massage to review some stretches I could try to combat the tension until my next massage. First time visitors receive a nice discount at checkout also. I will 100% be returning to do massages with Monique again! My only complaint was that it was very cold in the massage room which was uncomfortable as time went on. The bedding on the massage table was also made up of cheap linens.

Clearly someone screwed up the marketing but if you have an ad running it is your responsibility to honor it. Instead of continuing to go back and forth, I took my business down the street to Massage Envy and had a much more pleasant experience. I will not be returning to massage green. That is completely unacceptable. First and foremost, my therapist Joan is absolutely amazing. She is kind, professional, and truly talented at what she does. I will genuinely miss my sessions with her, and it's unfortunate that situations like this hurt therapists who are doing everything right. Due to a financial hardship following a car accident (which is also the reason I've been receiving massage therapy), I needed to reduce my membership. I was told I could place my account on a 3-month freeze and still use my accrued sessions by paying $20 instead of the regular $80. I agreed. Because it's so close to the holidays and money is tight, my card didn't go through when they attempted to charge me a second time in the same month. When I called to understand why, I was told the $20 charge on 12/14 applied to November, and now another $20 was being charged on 12/22 for December. While I can understand the explanation, it does not change the reality that I simply don't have extra funds available right now. I asked if I could cancel my membership and be reimbursed for the services I've already paid for. I was then told my account is on suspension and that nothing can be done until I pay the additional $20. So essentially, I'm being told that to access or recover services and funds I've already purchased, I must first pay more money toward an account I'm trying to cancel. To make matters worse, the manager was not in today. The front desk associate told me she would send an email explaining the situation and that the manager would call me tomorrow. How is it that there is not a manager readily available, the way there is at virtually any retail or service-based business -- especially when dealing with billing disputes and hardship situations like this? This entire experience has been absolutely ridiculous, inflexible, and incredibly frustrating. The lack of compassion and proper management completely overshadows the quality of the actual massage services. Experiences like this drive loyal clients away and unfairly impact the therapists who work so hard and genuinely care about their clients.
