I still don't know his name but I do know that I will Never visit that hospital ever again in life. I was called the wrong name 4 times so who knows medical information they were giving me.

I counted at least six others who came after me and were seen before me . upon leaving the waiting room was nearly ten new patients. what was more frustrating was after sitting in hard chairs for three hours w pain in my leg and groin they lead me to the back to sit in more hard chairs . I spoke up and said "there is no way I'm sitting in more hard chairs w the pain I have in my groin." one nurse acknowledge though uncaringly how long I waited when she asked " why did you wait so long in the waiting room?" I answered " it is certainly not to sit in more hard chairs with the pain I have in my leg and groin" and I proceeded to leave using the cane I needed in order to get Mobil ,to go to go home and rest the area on a soft mattress . visit for severe pain and the extraction the ER had caused by sitting so long in hard chairs . the entire visit was unacceptable for any ER hospital . I'm furious and I am going to file lawsuit with this hospital for the serious damage caused by neglect as I can barely even walk two days later .

I was at this hospital for back surgery. A nurse prepped me for the operation. While she was…read moredoing that, she said that she was so tired and was doing things out of order, She said she was afraid that she might forget something. I asked if she was going to do a certain thing and she said "Good thing you asked. I forgot to do that." Another nurse came in and introduced herself. she said that she was there to prep me. She said "I think I remember you from when we did your other knee". I was there for back surgery, not knee surgery. She was in the wrong room with the wrong patient. My blood pressure was extremely high, but the doctor chose to go on with the surgery. He was right in doing so. But, when the nurse or aide, or whatever she was, came and rolled me into the operating room she complained about how they should not be doing the operation when my blood pressure was that high. She repeated her opinion all the way to the operating room and then when we were in the operating room. She continued until the doctor arrived. Needless to say, see didn't do anything to help my BP problem blood. I have informed the orthopedic people that I will not go there, if I need more surgery. STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

He is kind, very intelligent & listens to you always. Speak to you in words you can understand. The nurses are the best. Treated me with kindness, & were very professional in their work. i have had 5 surgeries in the last 2 1/2 years. Never have I had bad experiences, felt very comfortable with all the staff. I will always go to Memorial for any kind of surgery I may need. They are the best as far as I am concerned!!!

Urgent care or ER is an absolute nightmare. It doesn't matter if there are 5 or 50 patients…read morewaiting you will wait, wait, and wait until you see a doctor. And not only are you waiting...you are waiting in a room suitable to refrigerate your groceries in the Summer. The ER staff is dressed in winter garb but if you are in comfortable Summer attire, I guarantee you'll leave there with a low grade fever or at least an infection of some type. Instead of receiving an answer, I was transferred between departments multiple times, eventually required to create a patient chart, and then told to wait several days for a response. When I called back, I discovered that my question had not even been communicated correctly. The staff insisted that I schedule an appointment so their providers could recommend a course of treatment. However, I already knew the treatment I wanted to pursue and was simply trying to determine whether the clinic offered it before spending time and money on an appointment. After multiple calls, someone finally sent my question to the providers, and I was informed that the treatment I was seeking was not available. However, without being able to speak directly with a provider, I had no way of knowing whether they lacked the specific brand of laser I had asked about or whether they did not offer that type of laser treatment at all. When I then asked what laser treatments they do offer, I was met with a rude and dismissive response that this was not the question I had originally asked, and no effort was made to help further. Patients should not have to jump through hoops simply to find out whether a clinic offers a specific treatment. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and unwillingness to provide basic information convinced me to cancel my appointment and seek care elsewhere.

I think that that the billing system of Memorial sucks. You get 50 bills and not one tells you…read morewhat it was for. My daughter who works at McDonald's just got a bill from a debt collector for 2 bills that she didn't know she had. She's been paying on 3 already and have them almost paid. These two just put marks on her credit report. Thank you Memorial for all the help you gave her on getting these bills paid and telling her what bills she had. I just got out of the hospital myself and put off getting insurance because my husband retired in January and I get medicare in October. I took a chance. So far I have gotten 4 bills from different departments. It will take me forever to pay them off but I will get them done but there has to be an easier way to make sure a customer gets all the bills on one paper and not 20 different ones. A doctor that saw me 2 times for 2 minutes and I have to pay them 3,000 is ridiculous. But that's my fault. I have to say though the staff on 9 South was the greatest. They made it easier to be in the hospital.
