She is so friendly and honest about all of your questions. The wait is never long, the front desk staff is friendly, and I can't wait to return to this practice after birth for my regular GYN visits. The same doc also irresponsibly did a pelvic lap for LUQ abdominal pain. Put me at risk for what? Insurance money? I STRUGGLED to find someone who would take me seriously being young and "healthy". I was done wasting my time and after my sit down with Madonna I knew I was in the right place. She was full speed ahead with figuring out this equation to give us a baby. She is professional, to the point and has an outstanding personality. You really feel comfortable with her!! She got me scheduled for all the bloodwork and procedures I might need and didn't belittle me for my age or question my motives. She was ready to make me a baby and After a few short months, I was pregnant!!! I am just so grateful for Dr Madonna and her team. I'm not interested in these money-making services; the staff respected my lack of interest. The reason I left this practice was because twice no one called to inform me of the cancellation of early morning appointments. Babies and emergencies come on their own schedule; of course I'd have understood had I just been contacted. But no one bothered to let me know. Not faulting the front desk staff, who were apologetic. It's the lack of communication from a nurse or other patient staff "to" the front desk that seemed to be the problem. When I expressed my dismay, I was treated very rudely by a woman (nurse, medical assistant?) who came to the waiting room from the back patient area. I don't appreciate being disrespected in this manner. Dr. Tomani should look into how some of her staff speak to patients. It's affects her reputation and business.

I never there for longer than 40 minutes at a time and it is the most refreshing thing when compared to other offices I've been to. In my five years, I've only ever been seen for my annual appointments, which I typically schedule about three months out. I never have an issue with their phone system, and have scheduled appointments and had issues with my prescriptions settled with ease in all cases. Dr. Amy Smith is my current physician and I can't recommend her enough. She is to the point, reassuring, friendly, and a true gem. Don't let the star rating scare you away if you are looking to make a switch or are new to the area, as the location and vibes of this office = 5 stars.

Staff currently does a brief questioning regarding COVID before you can even enter the lobby, and seating inside is spaced out very well to uphold social distancing guidelines. More about the staff... they're awesome. From those at the check in desk, to nurses, NP's and more, everyone was so nice and professional. This was my first pleasant experience with getting lab work - nurses are gentle, caring, informative, and are easy to talk to. I look forward to returning to PP for future appointments, and will absolutely recommend PP and especially this location to friends and loved ones. I'm extremely disappointed with how West Ridge handled my decision to seek a second opinion…read more I have been dealing with ongoing gynecological issues and decided to get a second opinion. I was very clear with West Ridge that this was a second opinion -- both in my communication with the office and in the paperwork I completed. Despite that, I received a voicemail telling me that because I had become a patient at another women's health practice, I "cannot have 2 OB/GYN doctors" and could have my records transferred out. I called because I was confused and asked a very simple question: "Am I still a patient at West Ridge?" I was told yes, but again told that I "can't have two OB/GYNs." I explained that I had been very clear that I was seeking a second opinion, not transferring my care, and then asked: "Does West Ridge have a policy against patients getting a second opinion?" I was put on hold. When they returned, I was simply told that they had noted my file and that I was "all set." So apparently I am still a patient, but I had to call and advocate for myself after receiving a voicemail implying that seeing another OB/GYN for a second opinion meant my records should be transferred and my care moved elsewhere. That is deeply concerning to me. Patients should be able to seek a second medical opinion -- especially when dealing with an ongoing medical issue -- without being made to feel that doing so jeopardizes their relationship with their existing physician. What bothers me most is how easily this could affect a patient who doesn't feel comfortable questioning a medical office. Had I simply accepted the voicemail instead of calling back and asking specifically about their policy on second opinions, I might have believed I had no choice but to leave the practice. I shouldn't have had to fight this hard simply to advocate for my own healthcare. I hope West Ridge looks at how situations like this are communicated to patients, because seeking another medical opinion should not result in this kind of confusion or distress.

They charged me for a full routine exam, when all I did was a visit to meet the Doctor to see if I wanted to become a new patient. The woman in charge of billing laughed at me and said her system was right because it was entered as an exam, so that's what it was. She wouldn't even look into it. I suggested contacting the Doctor among other things and she refused to help, just laughed and said that patients always think they shouldn't pay for their visit. I'm sorry, but there was NO EXAM!!! Billing for something that didn't happen is fraudulent!
