The ladies at the Yard Sale were busy putting things out. It was about 8am. They first told us that they were not ready for us to look around but if we needed to go for it. Then when I started into the building (both doors open wide) they stopped me..the museum was closed. So I guess nothing good about this stop. Didn't buy anything, didn't get to see anything in the museum so we went on down the road..after my hubby Tony used the port a potty on site. Oh well, saved me time and money!!

We were on our way home from Morgantown to Ripley WV. The covered bridge is Red and built much like the other covered bridge we visited today. This bridge is wooden and the inside roof is full of bees nest or mud dobbers or hornets, not a bee's nest expert. Lol, but I know them when I see them. I think this bridge had about 10 times the bee's nest located high up in the eaves. It's free to visit and is not a bridge still in use for traffic. There is a picnic table located inside for the perfect picnic area. Not a lot of parking but there is room for about 2 cars. I was able to turn around and not back into the road.

Quiet space in which was nice to take a moment and relax. The staff, particularly Dan, were most helpful in reserving a meeting room for me to conduct a job interview. Very much took me back 40 decades to childhood memories of a place of endless adventures and timeless stories. Libraries should be a safe space for everyone to explore the world and themselves. They should be cherished, respected and protected. Thank you Morgantown Public Library for helping achieve and succeed!
