We get our mail and packages most of the time. Sometimes, they're delivered to the wrong address. My taxes are always paid though, and never to the wrong service. ;) read more

Picked up my mail this morning at the post office in Easley. Just like any other post office they offer postage stamps, envelopes, mailing packages, pickup and box rentals. The wait times are some times slow, if you have to go in to have packages mailed or you're picking up an item that may be too big for your box. The yearly cost of renting a mail box has continuously increased from $188(2021), $212(2022) and this year's price increase is $226(2023). The people are friendly, the lines are just long and slow at times. read more

Could not even wrap my head around how incredibly rudely we were treated in this establishment by federal employees who we pay with our tax dollars. My husband and I went to get our passports. We made an appointment online and showed up 10 minutes early as instructed. Our appointment was at 12:30 so at 1:00 I politely asked one of the clerks in between customers, if we were waiting on a specific person. They had waved us to chsirs in the corner when we checked in. No one had acknowledged that we had been waiting for 30 minutes past our appointment time and no one was in front of us. Her very curt response to me was " yes, you are". She didn't even look at me and certainly did not provide any explanation as to why we had been waiting for 40 minutes. When the person I heard her refer to as Gabe finally showed up, he took his time getting to the counter. He looked at my birth certificate and my ID and asked for marriage license which was not on the list, nor was it necessary. My husband attempted to politely answer because Gabe was looking at him, and he said quote I am not speaking to you, I am speaking to her. We had been treated so rudely up until that point that I looked him in the eye and said firmly, why are you being so rude? He was extremely condescending, he avoided answering direct questions and told me that I just needed to let him advise me because he was the expert. He told me that I would just have to make another appointment and come back even though they had made copies of everything and had stapled our photos to the application which now made them null and void. I asked if I could come back and bring the marriage license within 30 minutes and he told me no. My husband in a very controlled voice ask him his name and all he would say was the letter G. My husband repeated what is your full name and he repeated the letter g. His name tag was tucked behind his shirt so that we could not see it, but I had heard another clerk refer to him as Gabe. We went to the library the next day, where we were told that we did not need our marriage license, and that they were going to need to shred all the copies and our application because G had stapled our pictures to them, and then did not follow through with the process. I cannot remember a time that we were treated so disrespectfully with absolutely no provocation. I will be reporting this to the USPS hotline as well as to the local postmaster. This man does not belong in customer service. He has cost us time and money because now we have to start over. Unbelievable. read more

I had a great experience getting my kids passports at the post office. Everyone was kind and helpful.

We arrived at 8:30 for our passport appointments, we were asked to have a seat and wait, our appointment was at 8:30am. At 9 am we were called to desk very rudely by a wave of his hand in a very annoyed manner by employee named "G" ( he would not give us his real name ) . He asked for our information we obliged , we left a part blank on application because we had a question and didn't want to put the wrong information. "G" then states " what do you mean you have a question? so its not done?" he proceeds to shake his head, huff, and stare in space for approximately 30 seconds and says " you have a few seconds to finish the paperwork , as we are filling out literally two lines he proceeds to say again" I need that now "in a very scary tone. This was the rudest encounter I have ever had as a patron in my life . we asked for our stuff back and made an appointment in Greenville . He continued to be rude to us even as we were walking out the door . G has no business working in customer service much less representing our federal government. read more
