Never had ANY SUPPLIES for Priority Mail or Flat rate packages. There's an APC machine and it works but how to mail a package after hours?!! Some Federal Contractor needs to take o er and fix this multi-billion dollar fiasco. What a disgusting dirty place. Just dropped off a package. I asked the guy to scan it and he said it would be scanned and told me to put it in the red bin. I asked him a couple times. Is this normal?? In my experience, they do it immediately without me having to ask them. There was nobody in there either, not busy at all. I keep checking and it has yet to be scanned... Made me uneasy. Post Office A necessary evil - it is hard to find a post office where the workers are happy and helpful. I try to use this location for dropping mail only - it is just too much for me to want to interact with government employees these days. This is a full service post office- seems to be not that busy but I suppose that also depends on when you go there. Give it a shot. Set expectations accordingly. read more

I'll always look at myself first. Was I in a bad mood? Tired? Was I rude? No, no, and no. I've waited to post this hoping that maybe the PO survey we are encouraged to complete made any difference at all. Again, no. This USPS location is the absolute worst in all of the locations I've used through the many states I've traveled. After visit #4, I decided to stop torturing myself and instead go to a different office. Yesterday, I was running short on time, so I went back to this place, knowing I could use the machines. I watched a customer leaving a window, completely flustered and upset. The clerk, being a controlling smartass exercised authority by condescendingly asking the woman (who clearly just wanted to get away) if she wanted a receipt, knowing the woman would need it and would also have to return to the counter and wait for the clerk to give it to her. The workers here are sorely lacking in customer service. Their negative and aggressive attitudes are blatant. During one visit months ago, a manager noticed that I had been working on my shipments at the machine, but it wasn't working. She told me to go inside and that one of the clerks would help. I walked in and stepped to the front of the queue. Neither of the 2 clerks acknowledged me. One loudly said, "Oh I ain't helping anyone else," before turning away and walking into the back area. The manager came in, noticed nobody had helped me, and told the other clerk to do so. On other visits, clerks have spoken in such degrading tones. They know we need them. They seem to forget though that they need us as well. Without us, there would be no mail to ring up, stamp, and send. Rates have skyrocketed since the pandemic (thanks to Amazon), and the PO is so damn expensive. People will only take so much before ditching it all together. I've bought gifts for people and spent more money on shipping then on the gift. Now I'm just ordering from Amazon and having the gift sent directly. More and more people will do this, and if your local post office is staffed with rude, irritated bullies, people will stop using the service. So I did the survey. I left a diplomatic message, encouraging the PO to address this branch. I knew it wouldn't make a difference, but I thought I'd do it just in case someone actually gave a damn. The energy in that lobby is downtrodden; people detest walking in there, keeping their heads down as they try to avoid being the target of another clerk with poor customer service skills and the need to flex. Supplies are low, and most people will wait in line just to ask for a priority label rather than risk pissing off a disgruntled clerk. I always wonder why people who obviously can't stand people work where their ENTIRE day and scope is servicing others. Get a different job, somewhere isolated. Be a proof reader. A medical equipment deliverer. Anywhere that you don't have to engage with other whose days you could potentially ruin. Please do not become teachers. Good Lord. read more

Background for this review- I have had USPS packages go missing. I dropped a USPS priority package off in the parcel drop box at the Jupiter office on Columbus day (normally request a scan but forgot post office was closed on Monday) Two days later and the tracking says only that a label was created and that USPS was waiting for item. Could not get a live customer service rep on the phone and so had to take a trek to the post office and wait in line. I explained the situation and that I wanted to report that the package appears to have gone missing. She wouldn't help me, only said that all items in drop box were distributed yesterday. When I asked about the absence of any scan shoe only said, I am sure it will still be delivered. I said I have no proof of that and I want to report this . She wouldn't and kept saying there is no issue. I said I will be back tomorrow if there is no update. She told me to have a blessed day. The post office, like the DMV, seems to only get complaints posted. But I actually like this location and our local mail carriers. Staff have been friendly and lines generally have moved quickly. I only recall one instance out of more than 20 visits where i felt under-served, and that was because of a long line and only one person working a station. I've also had mail delivered by usps on holidays. No clue how that happens but I appreciate it and, until anyone tells me otherwise, will credit our local post office! read more

I believe I have figured out why the Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens US Post Offices have unpleasant reviews. In the past 15 years, there has been an incredible increase in population growth in this town. It seems that these government offices have not increased their support of the democratic growth. I actually like the Jupiter main post office. If your packages are good to go you can just walk in and drop them off. And walk back out. If you are in line and your transaction can be accomplished at the self service machine, there is a guy who will hand carry you from the line to the machine and walk you through the steps. The people there have always been friendly and helpful to me...but (judging from the other reviews) I guess they pissed off everyone else within a ten mile radius. I always get a receipt for any package I mail out from there. The one time I didn't, because the line was too long, my package was "lost". I put it through their chute in the lobby, and it was never to be seen again. I don't recommend the Jupiter post office. The line is always long, and there's only 1 or two employees to take care of 20 or more people, One female in particular has a bad attitude, never a smile. It's worth it to use UPS or Fedex, I'd rather give them my business at this point. read more

I want to pull my hair out every time I go to this post office! It's ALWAYS lined up with people and is a slow crawl to get through the line and on my way. I can't say that I have any memory of anyone being exceptionally nice, or even a quick smile. My latest experience I decided to forgo the human teller and use the automated machine to ship a very small package. The kiosk touch screen wasn't working properly so it took me three attempts to buy my postage. I've been shipping packages this way for years as I own a small online business so I know it wasn't operator error. All of the automated machines had lines and others were also complaining about them being buggy. The location is convenient so that's a plus. read more

If they hate their jobs they should find others. What ever happen to love your neighbor? They also make it hard to do anything and charge you for everything! Showed up at 5:30 on the dot to pick up a package that was mailed to me overnight. As the last two employees let one woman out they told me there was absolutely nothing they could do about retrieving my package they knew I was coming to pick up. Absurd how their employees can't take an extra 2 minutes out of their day to help someone out. Previous to today they yelled at me for having my service animal with me to take my dog outside. Again a good neighbor delivered my prescriptions to me as the mail carrier had put it in their mailbox; different name and number. So tired of this! Worest post office Customer service ever!!!I have been trying to locate my mail i pay ,$18.00 a week to have it forward and so far no one has been able to help me. The main phone never gets picked up. I have spoken to 3 people so far. One person said my mail was on the way but my mail never showed up, another person said he would get back to me and never did and the last guy i just Spoke with said to call back in the morning and talk to someone else. My rage and angst against this branch in particular and the USPS as a whole cannot be relayed by simple words. But I'll start with these two: sovereign immunity. The employees must be told that on day one- don't worry how bad you suck- you probably can't get fired because no one can sue us (barring some egregious act by one employee.) Missing mail, late mail and packages- even though they have reported them as "delivered"- neither of those warrant an investigation by the local branch manager (who you cannot reach by phone but must drive down there in person and then hope she is not on yet another "break") Nor does it warrant an apology or solution offer from the "USPS customer service hotline" I have had the same issues for a dozen years and been through several mail carriers even though we have lived at the same address (in other words they know there is a problem but can't seem to fix it) They don't even have to go door to door! It's a mailroom! The mailboxes don't move! How can this be hard!?!? Why are you lying continually by saying my package is "delivered?" Are you checking out what's in my packages and stealing them!?!? Is it a conspiracy? I don't know- but how can this keep happening??? I could go on and on, but.... DON'T USE THE USPS- go with another carrier!!!! Even if it costs a little more!!! If "0" was an option that is what I would pick. The customer service at this branch is absolutely horrible. Apparently, the supervisor does not care how the customers view the office as the list of poor reviews is long. My worst experience, however, was today, September 28, 2019. The irony is that I needed very little - just a piece of Priority Mail Tape. When I offered to put a new roll out for the "workers" I was snapped at and told I would have to wait. I was then told that the supply shipment did not come it and that I could have "a piece at a time." I explained that I could use the machine and help myself and could return the tape quickly. The worker snapped at me again and stated I would get one piece at a time or nothing and asked me if I really wanted the tape. The behavior was unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous. I then asked her for her name and she refused to give it to me. I asked her for the name of her supervisor and she refused to give me that as well. When she left the desk her co-worker quietly whispered that her name was "Ashley" and she thought the supervisor was named "Montel" or "Monty." The behavior was so bad other customers in line wrote down their names and numbers to support my account of what happened. I have called the main office and filed a formal complaint. There is no way "Ashley" should be employed in any customer service position. i read more

I follow the tracking on priority mail packages from this post office and they appear to sit on them for a couple of days before they move to the next location. PM ALWAYS takes 5 business days just to get a package to AR. read more
