5 stars for FRANK and whoever returned my missed call after I had called and got a busy signal. When I called the number back, Frank was quick and responsive! Thanks so much! Probably two minutes or less of his time and he's trying to help me forward a package that should've been forwarded by USPS process. It was my error in sending a birthday box to my cousin at the wrong address, but I'm hoping that Frank can help! We have not been able to find the box and hope it is still locked in a parcel box. I dropped a box off at the 34994 post office on February 27, 2025. I'm on camera, as is everyone else of course. The female clerk (shown below) told me that if I'm "dropping off" - to hand over the box to her co-worker "Anthony." I asked for a receipt. The female clerk said that I did not need a receipt. She said it twice. I handed Anthony my box then I left. A few days later, I realized that the box was supposed to be dropped off at UPS, not USPS. I researched online to see if this has happened before, and of course it has. People accidentally drop off UPS, FedEx, & DHL boxes to USPS locations all of the time. I spoke with Anthony today, 03/12/25, on the phone. He told me that someone from the 34994 locale should have called me to come back and retrieve the box especially since the box had my full name, address & phone number on the shipping label. He said a supervisor should have called me. So then I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and he said he was the supervisor. Clearly, Anthony and the woman who works the counter (shown below) are in on a scam. Here's the scam. These 2 ask if you are dropping off to send the box back to get your refund or exchange. If you say yes, they tell you that you don't need a receipt. If you believe them, and walk out with no receipt, and the box is NOT a USPS box, but maybe a UPS, DHL, or FEDEX, the box goes in their cars and they go home with it. Here's why. Anthony said that if there is no USPS barcode on a box that he has in his hands, he, all of a sudden, does not know what to do with it or where the box goes afterwards. He said he absolutely has no idea what HE did with the box. Anthony the supervisor said this. Then Anthony said if your name, address, and phone number is on the box, Anthony told me this today on the phone - "The supervisor or any honest employee should take 30 seconds out of their day to call and quickly leave a voicemail stating that you dropped the box off to the wrong carrier. Please pick the box up asap." But then Anthony said that he was in fact the supervisor. But he still not taking responsibility for the box even tho he admitted to taking the box and not calling me after he realized it was a UPS box. None of this makes sense. I want to press charges against these 2 because she (shown below) told me to hand Anthony the box, then Anthony took the box, so only they know where the box went. Stealing mail is a federal felony, punishable by fines and up to five years in prison, as outlined in 18 U.S. Code § 1708. But I heard from an attorney that trying to deal with theft at a post office is almost undoable because everyone in a supervisor position with the post office has the IQ of a spec of sand and is in on the scam and it's a government agency and they will NEVER cooperate with anyone BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO. So, I hope Anthony and his lady pal are enjoying their new $200.00 pair of sneakers. read more

If I could give zero I would! I went to this location 10 minutes before they opened and I did not realize it until I tried to open the door and it was locked. This same woman that has a picture on another review says inside the store while looking at me " Oh My God" I patiently wait until they opened and asked about a notice of a letter that was not delivered to me. I live mear Jensen Beach and this is a Stuart location, however I had never gotten this and I did not know how it worked. She shouted when I first go in the office "Are you picking up??" i said no, I have this notification and I.... She cut me off and shouted again "You are picking up!" After she looks for my letter she says you're not from this county!! You need to go to port st lucie and we only service the people of Stuart here! Her tone of voice and her attitude were not appropriate at all. I do not know how US postal service works because I do not work there ( and thanks God I do not) Anyway, I warn the people behind me that they have an attitude now and she comes behind me and starts telling the other cuatomers that it was me that was in the wrong location instead of apologizing for her behavior. Totally unprofessional in my opinion. Update: I just now realized that on the back of the notification it says the address of the USPS I need to go to. She shows not to tell me this piece of information and totally disregarded me. read more

The clerk that is in the other review with a picture of her and a box is one of the rudest people I've ever met. She is rude to so many people and then nice to others. She was literally texting on her phone in front of me and on Facebook! I was waiting for her to do her part of the transaction and that's what I was waiting for. And to top it off this was not the first time this happened, I have seen her texting and on Facebook almost every time I go there. This time she was doing it right when they opened on top of opening late. She told me to drop my package off at the electronic one outside but it states on there clearly that the package is not verified for drop off unless taken to a postal worker. She was angry that I brought it in for a receipt. At this same visit I saw her treating an elderly woman very badly and talking down to her. The absolute WORST. I walked in 12:56 (4 minutes before they close). My package was ready to go in a box, but I needed a shipping label. There are typically shipping labels in the lobby, but that was not the case when I arrived. The lady at the front was also MIA when I arrived. I called out "hello" twice and heard someone blowing their nose. At 12:59 she appeared and was immediately so incredibly rude. She said "you have 1 minute you have to get out now and you can go to the other side we are closing". I was complying to her demands, but I did explain I had been waiting for a few minutes and she said "well we are closing you can't send this it isn't even ready to go". I said it was already boxed and I just needed to fill out a label and she immediately interrupted and said you came in not prepared this can't be sent out you have to get out. I said okay that is fine, but I did get here 4 minutes ago and you were MIA. I wanted to make that a point since she was making it seem like I was to blame for her being missing in the back. She had such an attitude for a customer who was simply asking questions about where I would need to do the self check out since I have not done this before at this location and out of absolutely nowhere she started raising her voice at me saying she's a federal employee. Considering I got there before closing and she was the one who was doing who knows what in the back I decided to ask for her supervisors information and that's when she started to get very loud with me again. I was complying with doing the self checkout, I left the building, but she was mad that I asked for her supervisors information. Interestingly enough I dealt with her on a different occasion except in the morning. I got there at 8:35am and she was MIA with a line forming out the door. Attitude and being nothing but rude every time I've been in this USPS. Her name is Kerry and she is extremely hostile and arrogant. She uses her title of being a "federal employee" against customers as a threat that she holds the power. I simply had questions and apparently that was too much for her to handle. read more

Maria said she had my package come back to the PO b/c it was undeliverable (Saturday) she said she locked it up to go out Monday, now no one knows where it is. No help from ANYONE. (Hint: If you have a pkg going to Exchange of America, use Fed Ex instead!) When I made police report, the officer said this same thing happened 3 months a ago, package was going to the same place. My parcel dissappeared while in their possession. Tracked it all the way from washington to the stuart florida post office, then dissappeared while marked 'out for delivery.' Never was marked delivered. Now its just gone-dissappeared-like magic. The delivery person "hit the wrong function button when they delivered it" Their response. Ya right, very shady. read more

They do send and receive packages so that's a plus. Sometimes the lines get long, just a head's up. Somewhat hard to find location so use GPS your first time there. Also, they're not known for having the friendliest staff (which I apologize is gross generalization) but unfortunately I have yet to have a great interaction. I must admit I'm spoiled living in Hampton, NH which is home to a very friendly PO staff. The package was marked as delivered and in a lock box... But no key was given to me so it was MOST DEFINITELY the responsibility of the mail carrier. They also screw up hold mails - refused to hold my po box but then gave me a hard time when the box overflowed and I had to go to the counter to get my mail. They delivered my street address mail during the time it was supposed to be held. Go to Port Salerno or Palm City instead. Or, even better, UPS. Or FedEx. I walk in and there is no designated area to drop off packages. A man behind the counter tells me to just give it to him, and it was done deal. But I look at the tracking on the package to make sure it was properly scanned, and it was not. Now I have absolutely no tracking on the package and have to pray that it arrives. Today is Christmas Eve, when I entered the Post office lobby on Johnson Ave about 9:15 am there was No one in line and No line behind the counter. I went to the Post Office this morning because the Christmas package I mailed to my children on December 15, with an "Expected" Delivery Date of December 18 still has not arrived yet. Because the Package was mailed Priority Mail, I expected the package to arrive by Christmas. A woman walked up from the back and I asked her if she could help me find the package that I mailed to my children for Christmas. She replied, don't you know that packages are taking about 2 weeks. I told her I had looked up the tracking number online and do not see any updates since last Friday, 6 days ago. She said if she looked it up, she will get the same information that I did. She wasn't even willing to look up the tracking number even though I was the ONLY customer in the Post Office until I asked her, would you please just look up the tracking number. A postal employee walked up behind her and offered to look up the tracking number. He tried to type it in and had trouble entering the correct number. She tried to type it in and had trouble entering the correct number. REALLY? When I type it in on my computer at home, I have No trouble. The man takes my tracking number to the back and returns and says the package is on its way, it is just delayed.
