However, I was there to pack and drop off some items for work. Ms. Shalonda was so kind to me; she saw me struggling with my first package and assisted me. I sent out 4 packages from there. She also made sure I took a pic of the packages to track them, as that specific post office can't provide receipts. Ms. Shalonda also helped my husband the day before, in setting up a PO Box for his business. This was one of the best experiences I had at the post office and I was SO grateful for Ms. Shalonda.

It was my mistake when shopping and having a purchase drop shipped to my daughter. I was rushed in my shopping so when it came time to check out and pay I was delighted to see my daughter's name and address stored on the website. I clicked on her name, chose UPS as the shipping method and paid for the order. Friday night, about 8 hours after I had placed the order my husband alerted me to the fact that the order had shipped but to a wrong address. The address stored was a rental house where she lived five years ago. Oh my, what was I to do! I started by calling UPS and provided the shipping tracking number and explained the problem to the gracious UPS Customer Service employee. She asked what was wrong with the address and when I explained it was an old address in a neighboring city she said she couldn't make that big of a correction to the recipient address. She did offer that I could have the shipment held at the UPS Customer Center in Jacksonville, NC and have the shipment held for pick-up. I called my daughter and she agreed this was the best option. Today she went to the UPS Customer Center in Jacksonville, NC and had a very positive and smooth experience. She called me after retrieving the package and exclaimed how nice the lady was that she dealt with. So I made a purchase Friday afternoon and it was available for pickup today, three days later, on Monday afternoon. Woohoo, UPS deserves five stars. (USPS needs to take a lesson from this service.)

I can have a lot of grace and patience especially for newer staff members who may not have the muscle memory for the job just yet, but I came in this last week, waited in line a bit, and was greeted and served by a newer team member. I came with a few art pieces (none bigger than 9x12 in size) I needed packaged and shipped to 2 different addresses. We sat in there a good 45 min waiting, watching the whole time, she struggled to pack them correctly and something in me knew I should have triple checked if the packing slips ended up with the correct boxes but I decided to trust her. Side note: One of those packages was going to a dear friend who just had a huge loss in her life and the piece I was commissioned to do was to commemorate them at the funeral. I gave myself enough time to ship it out so it arrived on time. I left after waiting a long while to finish up everything and got my tracking numbers. The first package arrived when it said it was going to (the one for the funeral) and she opened it and told me it was the wrong piece. I immediately called the store and Kim was very helpful in getting me new shipping labels to then send to each person and get them to resend each package. Very thankful for her help. I was informed that my inconvenience was noted and that a manager will reach out and follow up. It's been a few days and still haven't heard anything. I can have grace for the new trainee but this is when the importance of what's shipping comes into play, you never know as a customer service rep what's super important and what's not. This particular commission getting there late affects my business and makes me look bad for not getting it there on time. This person paid good money to receive this piece on time and was very disappointed. All of that being said, I will keep coming back, I won't let this deter me from support a local business but I share this experience more for the team. I know things happen and I'm really understanding, it just affected my business in a way that may make me reconsider if I should use their packing services and just package my pieces myself. I would not recommend PostalAnnex after my experience with them. My wife dropped off a package at…read morethis location, and the package was apparently lost. When we contacted them about it, we were told that my wife never dropped the package off, despite the fact that we know it was brought to the location. What makes this even more frustrating is that the package contained personal belongings, and PostalAnnex has refused to refund or take responsibility for the items that were lost. Instead of trying to help resolve the situation, we were essentially told that the package was never there. Losing a customer's package is bad enough, but refusing to acknowledge that it was dropped off and refusing to take responsibility makes the situation even worse. I expected better customer service and accountability. I strongly recommend keeping documentation, receipts, tracking information, and any proof of drop-off if you use this location. Based on my experience, I will not be using PostalAnnex again.

When I arrived here, the guy states they charge over $10 for a "pick up fee" for these packages! This was not mentioned on the phone when I called to ask if they could hold the packages..... $10!!
