For the past three years I have lived in Reddick, I have never seen it crowded. Even during Christmas time! They get you in and out quickly. There's parking in the front and side of the building and also a drive-through drop off for letters. My only suggestion would be for them to dust the front door more often. There are some cobwebs that hang out in the corners and on the door there regularly, but honestly, it's such a small thing. It's typical to see cobwebs outside many places in this area during the summer. Otherwise, nothing but positive things to say about this USPS location! Definitely recommend checking them out.

I…read moreneeded to mail a document and had no stamps or envelopes with me in the RV and was trying to avoid buying a box of envelopes and a book of stamps being I have a sufficient amount at home. The entrance and exit at this location can be a little challenging being it's close proximity to a major intersection and the traffic backs up blocking the driveway. Well once I over came that I was faced with quite the line inside with only one employee working and a very upset customer giving her the many many reasons she was disappointed with her mail delivery - I gotta hand it to the patience's of the employee, she was very professional and empathetic and explained the protocols and encouraged the customer to follow the correct channels to resolve her issues and thanked her for stopping in and got her to leave so the rest of us could conduct our business - she got my pre-stamped envelope and told me just to walk up without waiting again once I filled out the addresses and she would take care of it. This was a much better experience than I'm used to - I don't like the price it cost to ship anything using the USPS but I guess with all their problems it's still a necessary evil...

This main location has been here for a few decades. The entire Marion County mail gets brought here…read moreto be sorted and taken to Jacksonville for processing. At onetime this was the central hub and then later it was changed to Gainesville now it takes just a wee bit longer to get to Jax. All the sub stations are sometimes limited in what they can do but here all of your mailing supplies, commemorative stamps,, etc. are available. Personally I mail all of my international packages from here. It would be best to avoid this location during mid-afternoon. It is smack in the middle of downtown all the surrounding employees come here during their lunch break to have their mail taken care of. Important to know that if you have a complaint or possibly a compliment this is the sole place to take care of that. There's a door/window that you can ask to speak with a supervisor personally.

Over the phone, not only was she well mannered but made sure the problem with my package got resolved. My opinion on this location and USPS is a different story. This location has very hard working individuals but unfortunately can tell are extremely understaffed and a result there is a service issue that comes to play with that. I've never had a single one of my calls answered except the call I made to Jamerica Fleming at this location. She left me a voice mail originally and then answered my call back instantly, she then got straight to helping me. She is a rockstar and I'm very grateful my issue got resolved by her of all people. God bless Jamerica Fleming for her service. And I hope this location receives the funding and staffing they need to operate correctly!
